Toner has completely changed my life too. I never got the point of it, but now I’m obsessed. It’s crazy how much is left on my face, even after cleansing it thoroughly. I’ve used Ole Henriksen too, but I’ve switched to kiehls and I’m loving it.
Just started the AM/PM Ole Henriksen treatments and I swear, all it took was 24 hrs to reduce my breakouts, textured skin ie hyper-pigmentation to a flawless palette. I kid u not. I never knew after all the makeup wipes and washing of the skim, there was a ton of old caked up makeup left on my skin. I had been leaving that in my pores for months on end. Please, ladies, take care of your skin. Because once u hit those 40's, it's a race against the clock. Thank u Desi!

So glad you addressed toner issue. It seems like over the past 10-15 years the beauty community forgot about toner - using it with cotton/linen pads and removing the rest of the make up, oil, dirt, etc. that is left on your skin after cleansing. Es muy importante!

As much as I am happy that your face cleared up, you need to double cleanse if you wear makeup! It's the number one rule - and you obviously know that now that you've seen how much makeup is left on your face. Toners shouldn't be for cleansing (as much as it helps remove excess), get a cleanser for after removing your makeup Desi!
Shannon Lei I I use a makeup wipe. A cleanser, a cleanser scrub, and then toner and it will still find some residue somewhere. Toner is great. I've even toned and then rewashed and toned again. That's always my favorite feel of clean!
The best remover is oil based. So many people won’t use it for the norm reasons,. However, your face needs oil, oily, or not. It can get more oily if you don’t put something. But, even cosmo mag did a piece on it and oil is the only thing strong enough to break everything down and dissolve it. Then, a regular cleanser and then a toner and moisturizer. Which, is your basic facial. But, I always use an oil based cleanser first. And then when I cleanse the second time with non oil based, esp. a clay scrub, I feel so nice and less dried out.

They have to wear gloves and hate having to rip it to do do color retouches. I feel bad for them bc you can just tell they really cringe from it

So great you found something to calm the skin! Neem oil is great. It's my holy grail. I use it on acne (the underground ones) and it calms any breakout or inflammation! I found it in the organic food grocery store in the teeth section (it's great for sensitive inflamed gums also!)

So great you found something to calm the skin! Neem oil is great. It's my holy grail. I use it on acne (the underground ones) and it calms any breakout or inflammation! I found it in the organic food grocery store in the teeth section (it's great for sensitive inflamed gums also!)
