I was 5 when it came out and I was terrified after watching this episode. My dad tried to comfort me unsuccessfully. There’s not really a happy ending here except as an adult I appreciate what my dad did.

I love this. It's so wholesome. After so much trauma during my childhood that has caused me dissociation its so nice to be reminded of the good parts.

My first R-rated movie was Step Brothers! My besties mom took a group of us 11 year old girls on a movie trip for besties birthday, but dad went to the ticket booth with the birthday girl and let her pick the movie. (She really liked Will Ferrell because of the Elf movie) Dad did not check the age rating, and then him and the mom left us in that theater and went to watch The Dark Knight next door 🤣 poor momma was mortified when we told her about the drum set scene 💀

I never had a fake ID. I don‘t even think that fake IDs are really a thing in Croatia (or EU in general). It‘s really hard to fake an ID because it contains holograms and a chip. So no chance to fake it unless you‘re a pro. Also penalties for faking it are harsh and could land you in prison.
Same in Chile, there's no way, it has chip and it's too elaborated

I love how for over a week, Disney channel is streaming Wizards of Waverley Place season 1 live and I slept with it on that reminded me of my teenage self. Ah the memories! Maybe the podcast is the reason for that!
Because of you guys I started rewatching the show and I found myself reminiscing about when I was teenager watching this show and I love it. I just finished watching the movie and I wanted to cry so bad at the end when Alex is sad for losing her brother (for a moment). Anyways, currently on Season 3 and I'm watching the episode where Harper is so happy to listen to Rock N Roll.

I never had to use a fake ID because the drinking age in Australia is 18 and over I never got asked to show ID

I love this podcast so much. I think David will be happy to know my first R rated movie i saw was Con Air. My older brother was watching me for the weekend and it was on at the theater he told me not to tell my parents he took me. It's such a good movie!

I remember my first R rated movie was Terminator 2. My dad just kinda sat us in front of the tv, explained the entire plot of the first terminator, then hit play and sat down with us. We were obsessed with it for weeks. I remember watching it before school one morning.

I loved this episode! My first rated R movie was “The Descent.” We rented it from Blockbuster and I loved it. I was little when I saw it, but I thought it was cool.

I'm pretty sure my first Rated R movie was Dazed and Confused. My dad had the soundtrack in his car and it was my introduction to rock music. I watch the movie on the last day of school every year, first as a student and now as a teacher.
