    I've ran Gold coolant for 511,000 mi.(changed every 50-75 thousand) No external coolant filter. The system is and always has been extremely clean.

      @@ardenbriggs1190 gold doesn’t make the system dirty. It has silicates. Silicates will drop out of the coolant. If you just changed to a quality elc you would never have to change you coolant. How does gold coolant have anything to do with exhaust manifold video.

      @@ardenbriggs1190 if a 6.0 has gold in it it won’t stay in it with me. The idea is to give the oil cooler every chance you can to not get stopped up. Elc is cheaper than gold

    Those are nice gaskets. Can't say how many times I've removed stupid leaky gaskets on gasoline engines with cast iron heads and reinstalled a trued flat manifold with no gasket and solved the problem permantly. Carbon from the exhaust will seal up any minor imperfections.

    Good job! I'm looking forward to see how easy it is to remove this part. So far if I try to do anything on my 6.0 everything seems to be hard and complicated, except when it comes to breaking $tuff!

      No, sounds like you didn’t have a strong coolant mix

    i hear the drivers side is way easier once the inner fender is out.... i couldnt really see the pass side on mine but the drivers side looks like oil leaking out around every cylinder when i did my y pipe bolts just out of curiosity i stuck a 10mm on the last 2 bolts on the drivers side n i could turn them with no problem i dont really notice the exhaust leak noise

    • @AutomedicGarage
      @AutomedicGarage  7 месяцев назад

      Oil is probably from your glow plug harness orings leaking some oil and/or your valve cover gasket. Each side is about the same to do. Driver side has more wires and whatnot to work around.

      36x42x14.5 for now looking at adding on another 22 ft in length to add another bay with a lift and the rest would be floor space for all the tools, shelves, bench grinders, presses, etc on the floor right now. Thanks for the compliment, some of these a** hats on here make my blood boil with dimwit comments. I’m almost ready to just ignore all the comments and stop trying to respond.

      Alot are, when you start mismatching 18-20mm heads and rocker boxes bolts don’t always line up so they don’t get put in.
