    Hello there! Amazing educational video, thank you for that! How often, or better said, how long should pass in between readjustments and sharpening?

      Unfortunately there isn't a black and white answer. I would use them until they're not working properly, then contact a professional.

    Thank you , that video is very appreciate, I am new with grooming my dog. And clipper is a mistery to me, sometime it cut very well sometime not. I just figure the clipper is not the problem! thank 😃

      Thanks for watching. It's not always easy to tell why they work sometimes and not others. When it comes to cutting hair, the blade is 50% of the equation and the clipper is the other 50%. If either have issues, they won't cut hair properly.

    WOW AMAZED just purchased new CS-201 machine w/all accessories. This guy gave me more info than $160.00 DVD I purchased. I am having trouble keeping a straight line on my 16" wheel, I have a laser and rope. Any suggestions? Thanks you so much

      I would contact the manufacturer directly. There could be a few different things that would cause this. Our machines and wheels are custom built and are different from what's available on the market and therefore our process is different in a lot of ways. Your best option in regards to your machine and the process involved is to contact the manufacturer directly and I'm pretty sure they'd be more than willing to assist you.

      Yes I have. But came across u on RUclips. I feel that ur wheels will become the norm in the future. Anything that would cause the blade to not be as warm or even get hot during sharpening it’s awesome. That’s what you have.

    I just received the Purple Easy Clipper Detachable clipper(they make them in Blue and Aqua as well) .. To take the blade off the clipper is extremely difficult. Almost like it’s stuck on. Any advice would be appreciated? I really like the feel of the clippers , but I might send them back, as I’m a Barber, and that would slow me down tremendously

    i sharpened some of my wife’s grooming blades and now they are pulling hair. you can see hair caught in-between the blade surfaces.
    i used a 400/1000 whetstone and sharpened them to a near mirror finish. they were oiled and reassembled and now hair snags while grooming.
    i have disassembled and reassembled her blades dozens of time to clean and maintain with no issues, but this is my first time trying to sharpen.
    you mentioned that a blade that is too flat wont cut because it’s lost it’s shape but didn’t explain further.

    • @cloudsdiamondsharpening3973
      @cloudsdiamondsharpening3973  11 месяцев назад

      Sharpening clipper blades successfully requires a lot of different variables and steps in the process. When sharpening blades on a flat stone, these are the types of issues you will run into as the blades should not be flat. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our company directly at 682-559-7558.
