Love Terry's videos and teaching. So easy to understand and follow. Love the description of each icon and the definitive steps. So blessed to have found them. I have learned so much.....after watching the teaching videos as part of my Luminaire purchase....I was left with many questions....the teacher was talented producer but not a good teacher...during video would say touch "this here" without describing what it was! Thank you Terry. I am grateful
Susan Fiondella - share the videos with friends 😊. I will not share my Luminaire videos on the Facebook groups because most of the group owners are Sewing Dealers. Since they are administering these groups, I don’t think they would appreciate it.
I am so happy to have found your videos. I stay up 'til the wee small hours watching them. I was wondering what kind of thread is optimal for embroidering a quilt top? Thank you.
Lill Henshall - I use a few different brands because I have a 16” long arm machine too. I like 40 weight threads for embroidery. I don’t use embroidery threads like my Isacord but I do use threads designed specifically for machine quilting. These hold up well to laundering and daily use. I use Omni, Superior, and Glide. I don’t have issues with thread breaks. Some people Quilt with 40 weight cotton threads like Aurifil. I use Aurifil 50 weight for piecing.
You show saving to the computer. Did you have to set up a folder on your computer or does the Luminaire automatically pick a specific folder to save it in? I'm used to the Dream Machine being hooked up via cable and I never saved from the machine to the computer. I'm used to doing all editing in my Floriani software and sending to the machine. I now have the PE 11 also so I know I can send designs wirelessly, but still not sure how to send from the Luminaire to a folder on my computer. I'm pretty sure I haven't seen all your videos yet so if you've already done a video on this, could you point me in the right direction. Your videos are great! Thanks!
Lou Bush - in the examples I showed, I saved the jpg files to a specific folder I created on my USB stick. I usually save artwork to a folder called Artwork and Designs to a folder called designs. In order to send designs wirelessly to the Luminaire from PE Design 11, you need to set up your machine in PE Design 11. You go to Options, and choose the option to add a machine. Your Luminaire has to be on the same Wi-Fi network and the machine must be turned on. If you have named your machine, then PE Design 11 should find it when you set up the Wi-Fi. I have numerous videos in my Luminaire playlist covering this topic and also PE Design 11.

This video is great. It takes a few times to get the hang of line and fill properties. You're the best!!
Great videos. I hope more people find your videos so they can learn their machines. It is so much fun. Thank you.

Thanks Terry. I so enjoy your videos! Well done.
Brilliant videos I am enjoying my Luminaire so much more. Thank you. Will you be doing any scan n cut conversions please?
Eileen Clark - Yes I will. I have the ScanNCut 650, not the newest DX model.
@@terrymaffitt4012 Thank you Terry I have the 600 here in the UK. I would like more information on using the scan n cut with my Luminaire
Great video!
