      @@theinstituteofpersonalcare6401 boug I bought a hydra song that has lactobacillus ferment as a preservative so I’m not sure if this would be something I can’t use because of fungal acne or if it would be beneficial I don’t know if it’s alive, organism or if it’s rendered not live in, would it be fine to use it? Can you tell me any experience you may have with the specific skin problem?

    Why is it important that the extract is purified so there are no longer any living micro-organisms in the final product?

    Hi Belinda, just a quick question, so is fermentation physically processed or chemically processed ?

    • @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401
      @theinstituteofpersonalcare6401  Год назад

      It is considered physically processed if straight fermentation. The result is a truly naturally derived product (if all inputs were natural). Does anyone know where I could get information how how to create your own ferments? Once the ferment is created, since it is technically a probiotic, does preserving/stabilizing it not destroy the benefits of the ferment?
    Thank you for the info!!!

      What I gathered from the video was that the process of fermentation in skincare is not dome for the probiotics/ the activity of the microorganisms, but rather the products the microorganisms output. So basically once the microorganism has done its job of breaking down the biomass into the compounds were after, the ferment is sterilised or otherwise treated to kill/remove the microorganisms, leaving only the beneficial compounds we wanted to acquire from the ferment. So preserving the formula wouldn’t be an issue since the microorganism aren’t needed in the final product
