    Thank you for your videos 😊. What's the difference between having a product catalogue linked to a pin and having a normal pin with a link (visit) to a product on your website?

    • @SimplePinMedia
      @SimplePinMedia  7 месяцев назад +3

      A product pin from your catalog will be automatically updated with any changes you make on your website (prices, out of stock, etc). So when a pinner clicks on the product pin for a close up they will see accurate info about the product. You can certainly do both and see what works for you.

      @@SimplePinMedia thank you very much..so I guess if I'm the type who likes to manually create/update something, having a catalogue isn't necessary :)

    but if you start a print-on-demand with a stock site it is significant to claim that the website is not ours or if we want to start affiliate marketing without our own site so what we gonna do in this situation

    Hi Kate, your videos are very helpful, I just realized that I should be pinning my own pins a couple of times every day, right? To get more impressions?

    Can you connect your Etsy store with a catalog or do we need a stand alone store such as square space or shopify?

    I don’t have a website now, can I claim my Etsy shop website, then change it to my own website later when I have my own?

    • @SimplePinMedia

      Unfortunately, no. You can't claim a site you don't own.

    What happens if they don't approve your shop as a verified merchant? Is it worthwhile to upload pins to your product anyway?

    • @SimplePinMedia
      @SimplePinMedia  7 месяцев назад

      You have 3 chances to apply so you can try again after improvements.
      Also, yes I'd give it a try and see how it goes. They may not get seen as much but you can definitely try.

      Thank you! @@SimplePinMedia It was demoralizing to get declined, now I'm afraid if I make the wrong move it'll affect the entire account somehow. But ever onward!

      @@MelSikorski You bet! Totally understand the deflation that happens after you're denied. It's worth it to try again though!

    Hi There! Do you have any advice for topical CBD companies? We have been declined for a store even though we have non CBD items and zero THC :( any advice? Thanks so much 💕

    • @SimplePinMedia
      @SimplePinMedia  3 месяца назад +1

      Unfortunately, any CBD product is prohibited. They explicitly mention it in their merchant guidelines. policy.pinterest.com/en/merchant-guidelines

      Oh no that’s so frustrating. I just started posting consistently and got reported on Tik tok. It’s so frustrating when you commit to showing up and get shut down

      @@SimplePinMedia thanks so much for your reply! I hope they change that part soon 😭 especially for topical products with no thc.

    The strategies mentioned in this video are cool, but have you ever tried cold emailing? It is a really effective way to directly target your audience. I have been using DoYouMail for over four months, and it is just incredible. Unlimited email sending from unlimited domains has helped me save so much money while improving my reach. The automatic DNS configuration is such a time-saver. Highly recommend giving it a shot, especially if you are scaling up your e-commerce.
