Hello, when creating pins for product pages. Normally Pinterest extracts the data like the title the price ... from the product page but the title from the page is mostly not optimized for pinterest (no keywords or bad ones) How do you deal with this problem? And do you even create titles and descriptions when pinterests take the data from the product page? Thx for your help! :)
Great video. My question is what do you recommend if most of the pins in my niche are plain images without text overlay? Do the same or post a mix of the 2 styles (with and without)?
I have had lots of students selling art of some sort. I would start with TikTok style videos showcasing the product and linking to the Etsy/shopify listing. Then make standard pins. I have a video that talks about how to see if Pinterest is a good fit for your biz. If I can remember I’ll link it later otherwise you can find it on my video listing page.

@@PhilippGilch if you have a store connected they will automatically be rich pins. Just link to your product and if you want to take it a step further tag your products in the pin as well.
Hi great tut, you have a very good knowledge of Design, Ecommerce and Marketing and of course Pinterest. one question, can I include/tag a amazon afiliate link directly into a pin ( via shop tag) does Pinterest allow that, and has the product to be in the Pin Image? It enables the small white dot to appear on a which users can click on to access the product Pin. That's exactly what we want - for people to view the product Pin so they can either save it or proceed to purchase. So yes, adding tags is definitely a good idea!

Can you tell me what's the minimum number of pins a product based e-commerce brand should be pinning on a monthly basis? 30 Pins monthly, one per day as a minimum or does it need to be much more than that. I knew of a strategy a few years ago, but not sure what the real deal is in 2024. If you have a video on this, you can direct me there. Plan on taking your course soon. You’re going to publish pins that are accessible all over the world not just in India. It’s the same as Google bringing traffic from India to the USA. Just use the Pinterest strategies I lay out and the people will find your pins.

I was just verified as a merchant and now it allows me to tag my products in a pin. Is there benefit to that?

For My e-commerce product clients I pin 4-5 per day.
That includes:
Blogs x 1 per day
Products x 3 per day
Lead magnet x 1x day
