"a lake, Forest, cliffsides... In walking distance" check out Lincoln City in Oregon ;) devil's lake, hiking trails through the woods, the sea, cliffs, small town ;) just pick a house on the west side of highway 101 for walking purposes I love the idea of having all your interests represented. Such a conversation starter
I looked up Lincoln City and WOW! I was not expecting it to be that beautiful, I am now envious of its entire population 😍 I’ve always wanted to make a fancy historical court gown but embroider it with my modern interests to see how many people notice, the actual designs of embroidery gets so overlooked by 99% of people, feels like a way to add my own Easter eggs 😂
@@MadameMyriad I'm jealous of them too since I don't live there 😂 I used to live in mumbles (in Wales), they have a lot of the same too - if you wanted to stay in the UK ;) woods, cliffs, the sea. There's no lake though sadly, but there is a castle ;) I'd think in a setting where you'd be wearing a fancy historical court gown, more people would pay attention to the embroidery because they'd be of the same kind of people. The kind that would appreciate that kind of attention to detail because they know how much work goes into it ;) But even if they don't, you know it's there 🖤
Ooo that is pretty, and I can sacrifice the lake if I get a local castle 😄 I think the issue is I mainly wear the things I make to the park to take pictures, where everyone asks if I’m getting married 😂 I would LOVE to go to an event one day though 🖤
Randomly freehandwriting on fabric, you are very talented, remember that. Always a pleasure to see your creations which give us courage to tackle limitless projects 👏
Thank you, I always feel so genuinely touched when people say that started a project because of something I made, it’s just amazing every time 🖤☺️ & I did surprise myself with how consistent the writing turned out, I didn’t expect it to 😅
I have a special joy seeing those crowns in the back. Wondering what crown you're going to make next. I have my kovers knot tiara i made and i tore it apart and redid it numerous times thanks to you actually making me feel like it was possible
I am glad they look good in the background because I currently have nowhere to keep them 😅 I figure once I’ve got 4 or 5 stacked on there I’ll have to actually figure out some storage. That’s so exciting that you made one too! I’d love to see it if you’ve shared it on socials anywhere!
ooh what a fun project! i also really like what you did for the rainbow! i honestly believed for half a second that this was going to be the disney thing you acquired a wig for and thought 'well how were we supposed to guess THAT"
Brilliant idea and epic result! And now I obviously needed to check the list of 27 emotions, and I will spend the rest of the evening wondering which I would choose 😀.
I settled on two options. It would be either “aesthetic appreciation” or “boredom”. And as I’m not thinking of boredom in a negative way, it would be interesting to come up with a matching outfit for it 😀.
Those are some good options, I think aesthetic appreciation would have to be a weird split outfit of different aesthetics, like a gothic shirt, with a cottage core bodice, punk trousers and vintage shoes or something 😂 no idea for boredom though
Great job! For having, and I quote, "Zero painting abilities". 😯You did an incredible job, it looks amazing! 7:45 When you said iron...lol, that is *literally* my accent. :) Flat. Boring. American. I looove the lyrical way y'all speak!! And...how??... how do you always draft a pattern, cut it out of your good fabric the first time....and you still end up with an amazing outfit?! Talented!! 👏👏👏 Also, your handwriting on your overalls looks soooo good!! 19:12 to 19:16 🤣🤣🤣 Excited to see your next few videos!! ☀💖 Happy sewing and tiara making!
Thank you, I surprised myself to be honest, I remember my art teacher forcing me to use acrylics and I was really really bad at it, and it pretty much put me off ever painting again 😂 I’m glad I’m finally getting over that I actually do love some American accents, especially southern ones 😄 I don’t have the attention span to do something twice so I have no choice but to do it first time! Besides you can hide a lot of sins in decoration and distanced camera shots 😅
@@MadameMyriad lol, true, I agree that you probably *can* hide a lot of little flaws that you *really* notice, but us on the other end of the screen don't notice at all! :) I loved the 'Starry Night' you painted!!
I once did that with the word “filch” - I kept repeating, “filch filch filch” - “ Is that what I MEAN? Is that a WORD?” I totally get what you mean - I had to run for the dictionary.
This was brilliant, & im not even into sewing myself. Just found your channel & (please ignore if im being rude or cheeky or nosy) wondering where your accent is from, and are you neurodivergent of sone flavour? Love your Interest Dungarees, idea & execution :-) Your quirkiness is delightful & much appreciated xxx
@@MadameMyriad thanks so much for your response! I'm also that auDHD combo, it's both a gift & a curse (as Monk would say). Also, since saying I'm not into sewing, I did a very tiny sewing task, moving dangly pompoms from backs of my slippers to the outer sides. Now I don't put them on the wrong feet. So thanks for inspiring me :-) xx
It really it 😄 & Genuinely well done, I can never get myself to do little tasks like that, I have at least 7 items I need to single stitch line alterations on and I still won’t … I wear one of my skirts with a safety pin on because it’s so big 😂

@@MadameMyriad do you tell them yes? That it's your nth time ;)
To begin with I tell them I’m just taking pictures of a dress I made but after a while it’s quicker to say yes and accept the congratulations 😂
That needle bend was… astonishing! And I’ve been sewing since 1972.
I still have no idea what happened… I was sewing linen… 😂

That’s so funny, it didn’t even occur to me that the pink wig could be misleading 😂
That was amazing, your studio light is literally me excited that much❤ ps: side panels looks so on point and you HAVE drawing skills AF
Thank you so much!! You always leave the sweetest comments 🥰🖤

Roy G Biv… I use it when doing rainbow meditation. RedOrangeYellow Green BlueIndigoViolet
Ooo that’s good! Took me a while to realise what you were telling me, I was sat here thinking… did Roy Biv write the rainbow song or something? 😂
You got it:
Eye - Urn
Accent on the “Eye”
Trail off on the “Urn”
❤
I definitely did that thing where you say a word too much that it doesn’t sound real anymore 😂
I once did that with the word “filch” - I kept repeating, “filch filch filch” - “ Is that what I MEAN? Is that a WORD?” I totally get what you mean - I had to run for the dictionary.
If Lincoln City doesn’t do it for you, try Big Sur in Northern California.
They both do it for me! I had no idea America was so beautiful 😍😍 I seriously doubt I’d ever get a visa though😄
👍🏻
Thank you ☺️🖤

Some. Not sone.
Thank you, you’re so sweet 😋 I’m from the midlands in England & Yes I am 😂 Autism and ADHD - always a fun combo
