Omg you legend doing the ribbon embroidery in normal ribbon and off a slate frame 🙌🙌🙌🙌 we use silk ribbon to do it with as it goes through much easier but costs a fortune. Beautiful work, you have a new fan! ❤
Haha thank you 😄 I thought about putting it on my bigger frame but it didn’t seam worth it for how much I would have to keep moving it! Yea I was definitely on a budget, but I really enjoyed it and want to have a go at some more complicated designs next time (maybe down the line I’ll invest in some silk to make life easier though). Thanks again 🖤
I keep getting distracted by Queen Victoria's emerald diadem! You rocked that SO HARD. This one came out beautifully, despite all the bumps in the road!
Yes, your dress is amazing and very on point for the Met this year. I always say that blood and seam ripping are essential for a project to come together well. Never had a project not contain those two important elements and a little stressful deadline sprinkled in for good measure.
Positively regal! I really wish there were more Balls for regular people. I know we gave them usually in the days before the Met Gala. And I am always watching for the quality work that goes into rl labors of loves.
Thank you 🥰 I’m dying to go to one of the mystic fate balls but the tickets are so very expensive (but also completely worth it) & I get so excited to see the work each year, especially in the weeks after when designers share the making videos and you can really see the details 😍😍
I'm trying to limit my time watching videos to a few a week and I'm soo glad I got to watch yours on my break day!! It is really inspiring to watch you make something so beautiful, and I actually find it very encouraging that it wasn't all smooth sailing but you still came out with something so lovely (Helps me feel better when I sew my own projects upside-down 😅) You should feel really proud 😁 God bless
Aww thank you, that’s so kind of you to say ☺️ honestly it would feel dishonest if I made out any of my projects were smooth sailing, many mistakes get made - I didn’t even keep them all in, would have made the video too long😅 Thanks again 🖤🖤
the cutouts and embroidery look really beautiful!!! when you first said you were doing them i thought um what but they came out so good! also the moths are adorable, i love them. the dress looks wonderful! also my guess is merida from brave
Thank you! Haha, they were a bit of a risk, I’m very glad they actually worked 😄 Not yet but I did buy some fabric for her about 8 months ago, haven’t got a design yet but I knew the fabric was perfect so I had to get it 😄 Also I would HAVE to plan a trip up to Scotland to shoot that too 🖤
Thank you 🥰 Personally I think Pamela Anderson stole the show, her dress was stunning, I haven’t stopped thinking about it. There were so many beautiful designs this year, and loads from creators too!
YOU LOOK STUNNING!!! Great job!!! 👏👏👏👏👏 I have been wanting to try ribbon embroidery, now I will definitely have to try it now! I love love love the moths, leaves and blossoms! I also like the sleeves, very pretty and unique! Lol, this video was *my* reward after a long day of corset making! :) Sorry you were ill and then your machine broke! Goodness, the effort you put into this dress and video! Whew, I would recommend you sleep for a week! 19:11 😃 💖💗
Aaah thank youuu! 🖤🖤 I bought some stuff to try ribbon embroidery two years ago and then never even picked it up 😂 like always I need a project to force me to do things How is your corset going?
You did such an amazing job gorgeous!! It looks incredible! Can't wait to see your next Disney princess recreation! I'm going to guess Ariel as her wig is pretty obvious!
I admire your patience 😊 if I was in your place I would cry , scream etc even knowing I put myself in the dilemma, or I would give up and go to bed feeling sorry of myself 😉😅
Haha thank you, but if I’m being honest I did all three of those things throughout this project 😂 is it a real hobby if it doesn’t make you suffer just a little?
Cursed it was, but the result looks amazing 🤩. The cutouts and the embroidery are a perfect match with the overall shape and fabrics. Definitely a project to be proud of! Going by your reference to the wigs, any change the next Disney princes is Rapunzel?
Not particularly, I tend to shop deadstock or thrift everything so fusible interlining isn’t something I tend to come across, I’ve never actually used it before so I don’t really know what I’m missing out on 😅
@@MadameMyriad So, its like a web like substance with some ironable glue on it. So you can iron it onto your fabric and make it about 3 times as stiff/sturdy as before! There's ever all different weights and kinds for different effects.
I know feel silly because the last video I said you're too awesome to only have 5k subs. I know know you have gained 3.5k subs in the lat month!!! I'm praying it just keeps climbing for you!!! You're so talented AND so funny with is such a + !!! I look forward to watching you grow!!!
When you collapsed on the bed I was sure you were going to fall on your scissors. You look exhausted. I know it’s a labour of love, but even those try your sanity. Just keep enough sanity not to impale yourself on your accoutrements .
You hit the theme far better than the majority of attendees.
Thank you😄 There’s always a group that show up plain or in unrelated things but those that did follow the theme looked phenomenal this year 😍🤌🏻
Maybe I've become cynical, but I'm impressed when the attendees show up clothed!

P.S. same nee name 😊

oh my godd the dress turned out soso beautiful!! I keep getting more and more shocked by your skills every time you post, your work is amazing!! 💞
Thank you ☺️ that’s so sweet of you to say 🥰
Nice! I love the little moths and the ribbon embroidery looks very cool!
Thank you 🥰 I absolutely love the moths, they look so cute🖤
The dress came out so beautiful; you have every right to be proud of yourself!
Thank you ☺️ it really was a dream project 🖤
I love your reasoning for calling the new sewing machine Bilbo 🤣
Haha he’s grown on me, I love him now 😄
I keep getting distracted by Queen Victoria's emerald diadem! You rocked that SO HARD. This one came out beautifully, despite all the bumps in the road!
Haha thank you ☺️🖤 someone did bow to me when we were out shooting it😂
It's beautiful, and the concept is glorious.
Also, shout out to helpful, talented partners!
Thank you so much 🥰🖤
Dan said ‘Aw shucks’, when I showed him your comment 😄

Thank you 🖤 haha so true 😄 have you even made anything if you didn’t want to scream into a pillow at some point?

Such a great interpretation of this year's theme, I love it!
Thank you 🥰 I’m so excited to see what all the designers have done for this year 😁🖤
It looks amazing!!
An Arielle wig would be easy to recognize 😋
Thank you 🖤 Not this time but ALL of her dresses are on my list to make one day 😄
It's beautiful, love the colour and the adorable moths
Thank you 🖤🖤 Considering all the fabrics were thrifted and dead-stock I got so lucky with the colours working 😅
my dear, it is absolutely queenly! and with help like dan's, you can't dare call it even remotely "cursed." it is glorious! :)
Wow, thank you!😄🖤 I was definitely blessed with all the help he gave me, honestly I think he made the moths better than I would have 😅
Such an incredible gown. You did an amazing job on it! ❤️❤️
Thank you, I really appreciate that 🥰🖤

Exciting!! You’ll have to show me when it’s done 😁🖤
This is incredible!! And the ribbon embroidery is just SO stunning
Thank you 🥰 ribbon embroidery has become a new favourite technique for me, almost feels like cheating for the amount of work vs the results 😄
The dress is absolutely stunning! 😻 And so many techniques. It's gorgeous!
Aww thank you so much 🖤🖤☺️
Stunning work. I just love it❤❤❤
Thank you 🖤🖤
The embroidered cutouts looks so good, like such a great idea. Great work!
Thanks so much! 😊🖤
Absolutely Magnificent!
Gorgeous!
You are Remarkable, Madam!
❤❤❤
Wow, thank you! 🥰🖤
The dress is mega stunning. You did so well. Love the ribbon embroidery, along with the lace, fantastic idea. Rest now.
Thank you! ☺️ I’m so happy with it 🖤
I’m actually half way through my next project but I swear I’ll rest after this one 😅

Not quite, but definitely one day 😁
I loved your twirly swooshes in the chilly air ~it’s a beautiful dress~ well done
Thank you 🖤 took a few try’s to figure out how to move the skirt, the fabric was so heavy 😅
The dress is absolutely gorgeous. Good on you, you should be very proud. Excited for your next video!

Easily my hardest project to date, purely because of how much went wrong 😂 Thank you, that means a lot 🖤
& possibly…..
☀️
stunning work! really enjoyed the video as well
Thank you, that’s so kind of you to say 🥰
Stunning well done
Thank you 🖤
All blood from poking yourself is just a sacrifice to the craft gods, almost a requirement lol, its beautiful by the way I love it!
Haha, Yes! 😂 Now I understand why I come out of every single project with an injury
& thank you 🖤🖤
The dress looks stunning! Also... a very recognisable wig? Rapunzel? Cinderella?
Thank you! 🖤 and my lips are sealed…

@@MadameMyriad Oh! 😍☀
Absolutely stunning. Well done despite the curse!
Thank you ☺️ the curse was pretty trying at times 😅
AMAZING!
Thank you!!☺️
Very much reminds me of a House of Worth dress 😊
Thank you! I had so many Worth dresses on my inspiration board 🖤
5 degrees Celsius is about 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Excellent work!
See that just sounds warm to me 😅 & thank you 🖤
The dress is beautiful
Thank you 🖤
Brilliant ❤
Thank you 😁🖤
Very pretty 😀

Aww thanks 🖤
Is there a reason you didnt decide to use something like a fusible interfacing? As someone who doesnt do dresses, I am in awe though!

Hi from nz!
Hello back from the UK 🙋🏼♀️🖤

I actually remember clocking they were there when I went down and made the exhausted choice of I’m wearing a thick jumper, I’m sure it’ll be fine 😂
I love your work SO MUCH.
But girl... omg... you need proper long sewing scissors and an awl instead of a math compass! 😅❤❤❤
Thank you 🖤 & I’ve finally bought a pair now, it’s so much quicker to cut fabrics 😂
WOW!! I don't know what your profession is, but if it isn't clothing design, you're wasting your skills!
Haha thank you 😄 when I was little I used to tell everyone I was going to be a fashion designer when I grew up 😂
