Nomad iPad Sculpting App - Using Layers in Nomad
‘Blend shapes’ are used in 3D animation to change between different polygonal shapes.
They allow you to morph or blend between geometries that have the same topology. Blend shapes are often used in facial animation to transition between expressions, like a character breaking into a smile or a frown from a neutral expression. Blend shapes are most associated with rigging and character work.
IN other programs they can be called pose morphs, morphs, blends and of course just layers. They are very different to Photoshop layers in how they work.
IN this video I will look at how we use them on a character in Nomad sculpt.
