Got to know you because of your eve online mining series and ended up seeing that you have TOP-shelf quality content on SC as well? Good thing I subbed and will brag I knew you before you hit 100k!
I usually use a Prospector in moon mining, but I’ve recently engaged in salvage with the Vulture. I’m not an extremist, so I’m about 500K short of buying a Mole in game.i’m looking forward to solo mining in the mole because mining is one of my major loops, and I fully expect that salvage will have a major nerf within a month. Excellent job on the vid by the way!
You can take ore bags from Mole and put them on Prospector to increase capacity from 32 to 48. I usually go for more expensive materials like tara, bexa and gold. Cheaper mats (bora, lara, bery, heph, agri) cut profit in half so I ignore them. That way price for the raw ore is usually around 60-70k per load and after refining it goes for about 150k. I sell refined mats when I have 3-5 orders complete. One thing I learned is that you should try different locations till you're fine with what you can find there. Some locations are way better then others. Also moons don't have random salvages so if radar picks something - it's minable. Though if you need a fast and reliable way to earn credits I suggest asking someone to lend you an SRV and do Hammerhead missions. It's always near Yela, gives 250k reward and it takes about 6-7min to finish one mission and fly to the next one. To avoid getting a crime stat for illigal towing you just have to eva, get inside that ship, sit in the pilot seat and get back to your ship.
I used to do astroids, but now stick to moons w/good visibility, wx and plenty of planet location markers. Better visual clues on ore location and closure rate.
Whenever I'm trying to quickly leave my mole i jump down the ladder hole and then straight out through the starboard turret instead of waiting for the lift
I love my Mole, but close to $400 (with VAT) it did hurt a bit buying it but then now i can skip the grind in game to get it, not that the game starts anyway bit you get my point :)
I love SC but I wish there was a little more to the mining gameplay loop. I hope they connect more of the economy to it and add more layers of dangers as well as mechanics/ways to go about the ore extraction. I want to try to fly the Mole some time, mostly for the group experience so not solo. Having a dedicated transport ship and defense fleet would be so cool. A few patch cycles ago I farmed up a Hammerhead with bounty hunting and started taking that one out for rides picking up people at Port Alisar etc. Was a lot of fun to fly something multi-manned that also had such a different flight profile compared to the medium/heavy fighters I was using before.
@@RedHornSSS It matters not, you have no control over the development, just sit back and stop worrying.....go read some LORE, that usually works im told. Its a game, get a life
God damn this ship looks so frikin cool in black/carbon* I hope they can implement npc crew gameplay soon for mining, I have an Apollo but would be happy to upgrade to this beast looks straight out of halo^ 🔥📈💯

I've been running the Mole through the CRU L5 asteroids lately, really good times.

I see you have one of the 3 best paints, shame it doesn't continue through out the inside.
Is it just me or do I detect more energy and excitement in your voice in this video over your Eve online ones?
I think that is natural when you step away from something for a time, then return. 🤔
@JAKEL33T maybe, like a breath of fresh air. Glad to see it though. Mental health is always important.

Dude same 😂

3.22 changes will make the Prospector much more usable
When they go to the version where you now have to manage/repair all of your components. That will be a pain solo.
That's all ships by the way.
Makes me sad. Wielding guns and shooting ppl is so much more profitable than industrial and trading careers. what a bummer.
You don't know the degradation rate they intend it to be

Your graphics look great, what GPU are you running?
3060 ti
i just want a massive mining ship that swallows the asteroids and crunches them up for the minerals :D
Hahahaha! I thought the same, there is a lot of tech in the future, but not a titan-sized ship that swallows the asteroids and crunches them.
Great vid thanks
Good video, but isn't it now a S.O.L.E.?
But I have multiple personalities 🙃
all the YT videos about the MOLE no one explains mining lasers, which does what and why one would be better than another :/
yes insurance covers mods,, best crap is exactly 50k out from station
$93,421 1st run
