Both of them were Legends, and they still make me laugh (even though I was born too late to enjoy them). Born in late 1984

Unlike so many show biz associates, these guys really got along. They actually got closer in later years when touring live shows together but there was never any professional jealousy or smallness from start to end.

How adorable that on and off the screen these two made each other laugh! A truly special partnership indeed. They never argued or fought about anything (don’t believe the Stan & Ollie biopic with Coogan and Reilly, it’s a bunch of lies wrapped into a 90 minute film). They always encouraged, supported, and complimented each other with no jealousy or friction. Even when they both went through painful marriages and divorces, they always had each other for exactly 30 years between their first official team film and Hardy’s death. Truly heartwarming.

I mean it’s realistic that they would clash - everyone clashes so…

Isn't it cool that you knew what went on behind closed doors and what went on when they were private. That they never argued in public is not the same as that they never did in private and when they did why would they tell the press about it?

I used Google to translate this: "Thank you for everything you do for Stan and Ollie the 1953 interview on the music hall tour, the last one in fact and in 2 shots, framed up close and framed a little further away. Thank you because I have loved Stan and Ollie since my early childhood. I am 61 years old and they are part of my life and in my activity as a professional film buff to rediscover Stan and Ollie from schools to film clubs and all possible organizations. You are amazing."

Wow. What a rare film footage. There's so little footage of the real persons. This vid is a gem. The best comic duo that ever was at least for me.
