If you love comedy, you can't go wrong with the brilliance of Laurel and Hardy. Classic and Timeless. I only hope they both knew how much they were adored by the public.
Sad fact: the war is finished 20 years ago, but another one is coming. RIP at all the people died. Laurel and Hardy, thank you for the happiness you gave us ❤
This film is one of the best examples of the great undercurrent beneath the L&H films, which is that they rarely conform to the behaviors expected in society. Every time they try to, it ends in disaster. And even when Ollie is frustrated with Stan for disrupting his domestic life, if you really think about it, Stan’s chaos ends up freeing Ollie from the shackles of conventional domesticity so they can continue on their hapless misadventures, living life on their own terms. As this film shows, in the most hilarious way.
All these years of watching L&H and I only just noticed the "taking Stan home for a juicy steak, Ollie's angry wife, blowing up the kitchen, the neighbour in the hamper etc." scene is a repeat of the scene in their first film Unaccustomed As We Are.
18:23 :-D 18:25 I don’t know why. But I have a feeling that in the original script, Hard was supposed to carry Laurel into the apartment….still not realizing he had two legs at that point in the film. 19:32 😁 20:09 😆 20:47 🤣
SPOILERS: 'Block Heads" doesn't make much sense. How could Stan have been in the trenches for 20 years when it was already established that he and Ollie were discharged together, and then after the Great War, spent several years looking for Eddie's baby's grandparents?
I suppose Laurel and Hardy have a multiverse just like Marvel. There are different universes where they have different jobs and experiences. After all, they couldn’t have been as young as they are in the modern world in most of their films, if they were around in the Old West, which they are in “Way Out West.” So, there are infinite universes in which Stan & Ollie always came together and caused chaos everywhere!

Without a doubt one of the funniest Laurel & Hardy films ever made , which of course makes it one of the funniest movies ever made PERIOD !

Well, their first TALKING film, yes. Not their first movie ever.
“What happened… OOHH!!!”
One of my fav the duo at their very best
This is A Last Laurel and Hardy Film For Billy Gilbert.
The way Stan's chair lifts up as Ollie launches through kitchen door I found hilarious.
Pvt Laurel you will guard this post until relieved from duty you can’t fault Stan’s devotion to duty
Dutiful and the wiser, he doesn't have a wife to boss him around...
impressive,he had a 20 year supply of food.
The true reason WW2 started Laurel left his post in 1938. One year later....
Thank you for this video!!! ❤
Świetnie zrobiony film jestem pełna podziwu dla kinematografi tamtych lat
Let that be a lesson, never get married 😂
Wise words lol
So let that be a lesson to all of us. Don't get married.
It's silly to argue....if you want me to go, I'll stay as long as you want.
Genius comedy

Stan was a total monster in this. Destroying poor Ollie’s orderly married life.
Married life is never orderly. Men are dumb to get married to any woman. He tells you never to get married in the skit itself! 28:00

A wizard did it.
this is absurt comedy, you dont need to find logic
How did you remaster this film? Just being curious.
I did not remaster the film myself. I don't know anything about the method.
Why would anybody in the world be as dumb as… to cut this movie?
😂
