- This play when you are challenging Team Galactic Boss Cyrus in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

I had to put down the DS after fighting this guy because of his dialogue. Same with Lysandre. Completely caught me off guard to see them developing and maybe even having regrets.

GraveDigger35 he never implied he would restart from scratch like Lysandre did. Cyrus planned on basically resetting the same universe. Just without human emotion.
oh......makes sense (coming from a guy who hasn't played gen 4 and no i'm not new to pokemon, i've been a fan since 2000, just for some reason didn't play gens 3, 4 and the first half of 5)

GraveDigger35 Basically, Lysandre wanted a utopian society where everyone thought the same as him. Cyrus hated people in general, so he wanted a universe all to himself.
This version of Cyrus was able to restart the universe because the main character was too busy dancing to his theme
Technically in his universe he came from there was no main character. Meaning that he still had the DPPT theme back then.

So at this point in the game, I had transferred all my Pokemon over from Moon, which includes the Empoleon I've had since Diamond, which was my first Pokemon game. I got to the Cyrus fight and took out most of his Pokemon with my Lycanroc and Mudsdale, but his Dialga took out my Mudsdale before my Mudsdale could get a piece of it. No big deal, I send out my lvl 100 Empoleon to destroy it. Dialga happens to be my favorite Pokemon, by the way, because it was the first legendary I ever caught. So, thinking about that eventually led to me realize I was now fighting Cyrus with the exact same Pokemon I used to fight him 9 years ago. Then that's also when I knew not skipping USUM was worth it.

His Dialga against my Palkia, or his Palkia against my Dialga just occured, or using my Lucario from DPPT again, and Lucario finally can Mega Evolve!
its still amazing to me that pokemon from even gen 3, all the way back in 2004, can still be sent to (through a tedious process) all the way to ultra sun and moon today

Cyrus’s whole deal was he thought the human spirit (in the Pokémon universe comprised of Knowledge, Willpower, and Emotion) was incomplete, largely due to the third part, and his goal was to create a new universe in which the human spirit was perfect and emotionless, Cyrus is basically a machine emotion wise, relying only on logic

You don't have to be actively nice to it for a Pokemon's friendship to go up iirc you just need to have it not be KO'd and use it in battles
The whole space/alienated theme is so fitting for the boss of Team Galactic... That's why this is the best iteration of this theme.
The brilliant diamond and shining pearl one is disappointing
The alienish synth is in the bdsp one too though...this one without it sounds like just hop hop while the other still holds the theme.

Funny story: One time I broke Diamond with cheats, and I got to the top of the mountain where Dialga is supposed to be, and i found Cyrus, seemingly frozen in time, and I couldn't even talk to him. I thought this was Dialga punishing him for trying to destroy the fabric of space and time, and so he was frozen in time for all eternity. Shit's dark.

Dude Ghetsis almost tricked a whole region into releasing their pokemon so he could rule it like a king. He even tricked his his adopted son into catching a legendary pokemon so he could have an advantage. Also in B2/W2 he tries to kill you and freezes a whole town

Problem to me with many fan remixes is that they often use sounds that are literally unbearable to listen to.

UB and UM take place in a universe where the villains one

The versions of the team leaders that appears with Team Rainbow Rocket are all part of alternate timeline where they actually won. So Cyrus was dragged away from his new universe.
This is confirmed by the fact that they are all carrying their cover legendaries.

It shows even more when he’s the one to truly express regret, whereas Lysandre doubles down on his world of beauty.
Maybe Cyrus didn't win completely. He says he was taken by a huge shadow, if he wasn't taken to USUM he'd be stuck in the distortion world

@@Kijaw he had won in the alt reality, which means Saturn, mars, jupitar might have murdered Barry and Lucas and cynthia couldn't have stopped cyrus as she comes at the end when cyrus goes into the distortion world, so before cynthia arrives he has taken control over dialga and palkia, he possibly murdered giratina for interfering and set off for destroying the universe
I'd like to add the statement below for clarification of Cyrus' goals. Through Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum alike, Cyrus had Galactic fetch the Lake Trio as a means to help summon and detain Dialga/Palkia (for D/P respectively). The 'true' version is when Dialga and Palkia were summoned, it was a means to alter time and space (and thus the universe as we know it) to reset it. Cyrus was not meaning to kill in the traditional sense. He's a sociopath, and he saw no point in empathy or human emotion because he himself lacked it. He was trying to share his worldview with the whole universe by exploiting Sinnoh's Legendaries as a means to create a soulless, emotionless existence. He wanted a universe lacking emotion, lacking 'soul' as we understand it. Imagine humanity, but lacking what we call 'human kindness' while still being sapient. We'd just be fleshy machines, robots, drones. Or. A sociopathic existence.
He didn't lack them ,as a child ,he was neglected by his parents. This caused him to feel very bad and dull. But ,he started to go by the logic of it ,that why should some lack of physical action that produces mental impulses in his brain make him feel "sad" , why should some mere pressure patterns in air(sound waves) produced by the voice box of his mother lead to him doing a specific action in the universe. Thus ,he despised the spirit that led to such chaotic systems(that are so easily affected in their output by such small changes). He didn't like "emotions" ,but that doesn't mean he didn't have any ,because his decision of creating a new world itself was a result of "emotions" ,going by its scientific definition.

You can't have opinions if you are a machine or an entity emptied out of emotions.
Something I just learned that is rather peculiar in Platinum is his ability to identify that Giratina was "enraged" before anyone even saw him. Perhaps he is more empathetic and sensitive to others' emotions than he seems. Fun fact, there is a surprising amount of overlap between those sensitive to the emotions of others, and those who struggle to identify their own emotions.

Having listened to this more, now it brings to mind Cyrus at a rave, everyone else partying and jumping around him, while he just stands there with his blank stare bopping his head to the beat. Lol I love these remixed themes.

for real, the harsh synth instrumentation and drum and bass-esque drum loop with the added percussion give so much intensity and life to this theme. the remakes just sound like a sanitized reorchestration. it's not a very interesting theme in comparison to this one.

I honestly got so emotional when I started fighting Cyrus because when I was only 10, I owned Pokémon Diamond (My first Pokémon game) and beat Cyrus.
I am now 20 years old and currently own Pokémon Platinum among other Pokémon games.
This fight and track really hits hard. Being so young and fighting against Cyrus made me emotional back then, and it makes me just as emotional now.

The whole post game was purposely a nostalgia trip, GAME FREAK made it that way because all of the Pokémon games were on handheld devices. This would be the last Pokémon game played on a pure handheld. Switch is a hybrid console, meaning it isn't the exact same thing as a 3DS. As for me, the fight with Maxie in Pokémon Ruby (not omega) was my favorite, and experiencing that whole adventure again in Omega Ruby was so amazing. Battling Maxie again was so amazing, and Cyrus was a complete different story. I think Cyrus is the best villain, but White will always be my favorite game. This comment was long, and kind of off-topic.

I wouldve killed for Sinnoh to have gotten an ORAS glowup. They made Team Magma and Team Aqua look so good, I cant imagine how good Team Galactic wouldve looked if it got the ORAS treatment. Plus they couldve added more original story or lore. BDSP is good for what it is, but I prefer the ORAS route of remaking.
