I know this video is old but can you do all the Ken and Ryu inputs especially the final smashes
Sure, I’d love to give it a shot! 😄 .But as far as the final smashes go, you just press B to Activate them. Depending on if you are close to your opponent or not will determine which Final Smash will come out. There really isn’t a special input for it

I main terry and power geyser is easy but for some reason I can’t get the hang of buster wolf(I’ve won’t locals without it)
His inputs are so much more forgiving than Kazuya! For me, anyone! I play between Terry, Kaz, Falcon and Sephiroth haha.
somehow i manage to input his moves flawlessly on cpus in training, but online i miss all my power geysers and buster wolfs lmao
His inputs is actually easy if you played King of Fighters and used him very much and fun fact: terry’s input on smash is the input that he has through the King of Fighters Series
Yup, I used to play Capcom Vs SNK on PS1. Had to adjust to light/heavy attacks (since Smash simplifies it), but I managed to do a Buster Wolf after a few tries, I did the 'Normal' input though.
I just spun my circle around and got Power Geyser 3 times in a row one time. This works for me since I'm normally that energetic player online. I see Buster Wolf as a little bit harder as I'm used to seeing Power Geyser more often, but I have gotten some Buster Wolves by just twirling my circle pad around.

Buster Wolf is super easy to do, but these Spin-puts helped me from doing the Geysers in the wrong direction.

Sorry dude, if the cheat way doesn’t work then just do the directional way. It literally has the directions for it in the training menu😁

Keep practicing. It’s one of those things that just takes time. If you feel yourself getting frustrated, step away for a bit and try again later. Just be patient 😁

I'm a terry main and I can consistently input, but this is goddamn genius. I can't tell any of my friends who wanna pick up terry tho haha
I'm so glad that gaming has evolved past the point of having to learn all of this to even do anything because I do not have the fucking attention span or concentration to pull this shit off constantly to the point of perfection. Thank god. At least it's optional for the people who actually like that stuff.

That’s great! I think most people who have played SF, MK, etc definitely have an easier times performing/understanding the inputs because they are already familiar with them 😁

If you’re not seeing Terry on your character select screen, it’s probably because you don’t have him. Unlike most other characters, you actually have to pay for Terry because he is additionally DLC. I believe he is around 6 dollars in the shop. I hope that could help 😄

actually power geyser is easier than buster wolf.and can it be that its easier to learn those moves on a gamecube controller than a joycon aka pro controller?
There shouldn’t be much of a difference, but I know some GameCube controllers have little notched around the control stick. I’m not sure if the notches would really help with true inputs though but I guess anything is possible 😅

What is command input
Command inputs are the "directions" for the use of attacks in the Street Fighter series and other fighting games.
Basically if you want to do a certain move, you can’t just press a button. You have to chose directions and then press your button. This allows you to have multiple different moves all under the umbrella of a single button. Your move is determined by the directions you inputed.

Okay the confusing thing is that no matter how I input buster wolf it doesn’t activate even if I do the 360 degree way
Try doing 2 full rotations and see if that works, or you can always try going from down -> sliding the stick towards the direction of your opponent -> repeats steps 1 and 2 then pressing any attack button. You’re basically making 2 quarter circles by doing this. Hope everything works out 😄

Is your joy con drifting? If it is, you might wanna try to use some WD-40 or lube on the joy stick to try and fix it

I realized something: you can do the command inputs while doing neutral Go up to the opponent, press A and while attacking, move your stick for the command input

Can you show how to cancel into buster wolf? So instead of doing the usual “jab jab power dunk” how do we go to “jab jab buster wolf?”
I can actually tell you right now instead of you waiting for a video or something 😁 smash like most fighting games has a buffer system. Meaning you can can do inputs during your character moves and animation. So all you have to do if you want to do jab jab buster wolf is perform 2 quarter circles during your two jabs and then finish with any attack button. That should give you what you want. You could also cancel into power geyser using the same method. That would be useful if your opponent is shielding and you are trying to break shield. I hope that my answer made since lol😅

Isaac Cruz No you have to do quarter circle twice continuously. If you do it twice you’ll get buster wolf not burning knuckle.

It’s kinda confusing when I’m trying to do a 360 with my control stick when I’m fighting someone any advice?
You can try to do the Original commands that way you don’t have to worry about moving your stick 360 or what I like to do is I’ll buffer the 360 during a jump or even a move that way my “GO” move is ready to go even before I finish what I’m already doing. Since your tap jump is off, it won’t force you to use your double jump in the air. That way all you need to do when you land is hit A or B since you have already completed the majority of the input. I hope that makes since lol😅

Down, back, forward + A/B works for power geyser, I’m not sure if there is a simplified 3 direction version for buster wolf though. I find the down back forward faster than doing two whole circles.
The whole quarter circle thing makes no sense
I tried to dumb it down so much that I honestly have no other way of explaining it. Just google “Ryu inputs” and go to images.
