    When the Avata falls out of the sky on hard yaws it seems to roll too far in the wrong direction. As far as I know DJI never fixed the issue, DJI just put a band aid on it (now it kicks you into normal mode instead of falling out of the sky in most cases) and added RI with the same update. I don't know if it's true in all parts of the world but it's certainly what happens in the US.

    Why are you needing to bind each time you fly those? I have the Avata and the Cinebot30 and I can use them interchageably. I had to bind the Cinebot30 once to my controller and once to the Goggles2 and never again. Are you binding each and every time?

    I'm really torn between the three of these specifically. What is flight time like when your rip around doing tricks on the defender and bot? Also is there anyway to get the bot near 250g as well like you can the defender? Finally which one is more quiet?

    • @FPV-TV419
      @FPV-TV419  Год назад +1

      This is a difficult one...as they are all fantastic! But they each have their own qualities. I haven't flown the bot too much yet.. so a 1100mah I'm sure will easily get 5 to 6 minutes of general flying with some freestyle thrown in. The defender on the 550mah battery will do about 4:30s and the 900mah will do around 6:30s.
      The bot will never be a sub 250g drone. The avata is by far the noisiest. None of them are particularly quiet. But the cinebot is quiet for a 6s 3.5 inch! The defender 25 is quiet enough to fly in your back garden without annoying the neighbours.
      It also depends on if this is your first whoop? And what style of flying you want to do?
      I've not mentioned the avata much. It flies very well and deserves more credit, however it has very little freestyle capabilites, whereas the other 2 are much better at that

      @@FPV-TV419 I already own a DJI FPV and its fine for GPS hover shots and high altitude flips so really I'm just looking for a low to the earth drone that can do a bit of acro but also used to capture drift and rally car footage and would also be suited for medium to large parks or parking garages. Something I could weave in and out of gaps but if I hit something it could take a beating. I'm also only looking for 03 DJI RTF drones

  • @AzBachour

    Regarding the tumble on the Avata, Im thinking the issue with it lays on the GPS module, If I make a hole on it, I think it may sorte the issue, seems related to a sudden change of pressure that could have been caused by the tyrns it self, lowering the pressure inside the module, a bigger hole on it may sort it

    • @FPV-TV419
      @FPV-TV419  Год назад

      I hadn't noticed that.... maybe I should turn the rates down a bit on the avata and see if it helps to stop it? I'm still pretty sure that it's only the avata... I have my rates pretty high in betaflight for the cinebot and defender

      @@FPV-TV419 Maybe, it probably is the Avata as I've never heard anyone complain about that happening with other quads.
      Still I'm not sure if it's an issue at all since I don't know when I'd ever want to turn as sharp as that when otherwise flat, especially with a cinewhoop.
      But it's interesting that they probably messed something up.

    • @FPV-TV419
      @FPV-TV419  Год назад +1

      @Depp yea I'm sire it's something on the avata, as when you do any sort of freestyle stuff, it's like the avata is trying to still interfere even though its in manual mode. Whereas the other 2 don't.... however... I do love the avata! And you're right... normal flying I've not had this happen yet. Just thought it would be interesting to do the test anyhow 😅

      The avata does have gps, however it's not used in manual mode. It's definitely an issue with either the tune, the fact the propellers are partially covered by the body of the drone, underpowered or a mixture of all of them...

    If someone could put different pop guards to Avata ,something thinner or even with a gap between 2 frames it could help us understand the main reason behind it. I see that the Axis 3.5" upgrade comes with a different frame kit and it might be the main reason behind it. They say that the dirty air(turbulence) causing that tumble which is crated by the odd shape of the ducks. If it is a tuning issue then it should have done the same thing with after the Axis 3.5" upgrade kit for Avata. If it was a software fixable thing DJI's engineers would have find an actual fix for it instead of a band aid fix . They are multi million dollar company who makes shit loads of money out of these drones... If someone could have hacked in to the tuning of this device and tweak it somehow we could also know for sure ;)

      No, it's just yawwash like all the early whoops had, it's a mix of bad balance, lack of power and constricted airflow.
      they just didn't do their homework other companies solved this 2years ago by eather making holes into the ducts(diatone) or use of tiny ducts(iflight geprc, betafpv)
      The ducts on avata are just too deep and it has a balance problem (head heavy), that the motors cannot compensate
