Definately only bested by the 3080ti (12g) and 3090 (24g) and 3090ti (24g). I "only" got a 3070 and it does the job with a G2 at full res pretty darn well. In other words, your rig is totally VR ready. 4:08 Veeeee Orre! 8:10 Wasn't aware that you could do so much with that thing. Well, not useful for me in VR, I guess :D
Strip the wires from the speakers then push the red button in where it says (Left channel) and there will be a hole you put the wire through and release. Do same for other wire in black button. Then repeat with other speaker wires in the (Right channel).
Good old speaker cable, nipped at the end, put it through the hole then squeeze it with the plastic cap. Just take the rig to Richer Sounds, or show them pictures and you will be set.
Try gently pushing against the outputs. Probably uncovers the hole to put a bare wire through. Release the cap, and it's held in by spring tension. There's no sense pulling or twisting, that just breaks it so it won't push in. It made for quick setup back then, unless you were one to tin the ends. Chances are, if you tell us what the stereo is, someone will chime in with which type they are, push or pull.

Yep. I have a few systems that require skinned wire ends. No big really.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers!

The feet look suspicously like something the music industie uses
Was expecting this to come up, watched your twitch VOD of your Carrier Command session as well as a part of the last Wolfpack session (wanted to see if you've been practicing before the actual mission again) and actually I took a look at the stream site to see whether I could expect another Wolfpack episode since I'm kinda waiting for it, but apparently you guys didn't do one last weekend. However, I kinda miss the Carrier Command content on the RUclips channel. I liked what I saw from 10 days ago. Sadly, oder stuff gets removed automagically by twitch (unless you disable that somewhere, actually). Wanted to watch the older session that you apparently had with Kortana as well. TL;DR: Shoutout for Carrier Command on _this_ YT channel.
0:53 Must be a VR immersion seat thingy something...
1:09 Looks like you have to screw bare cords up there.
1:32 Your ultimate flight sim hard-a-ware solution! BTW, do I see proper Crosswind pedals there? Finally! /)
2:36 Probably your best upgrade within the last few months :) - too bad you're having issues with them...
2:54 One of the best you can currently have for DCS, probably only beaten by a small margin by the 12x00ks.
2:59 Good guy.
3:02 3080 has 10 gigs, more recent models with 12 gigs exist as well though. Definately only bested by the 3080ti (12g) and 3090 (24g) and 3090ti (24g). I "only" got a 3070 and it does the job with a G2 at full res pretty darn well. I'd consider everything above that headroom for antialiasing and SSS > 100%. In other words, your rig is totally VR ready.
4:08 Veeeee Orre!
8:10 Wasn't aware that you could do so much with that thing. Well, not useful for me in VR, I guess :D
Thanks for the tour.
Cap, are we doing a drum-off?
Nice outfits, keep up the good videos you all work on. I enjoy them
Grump, just LOVE that setup bud!! What is the link for setting up joystick and thrust to your chair?? Thanks!

Don't feel bad, we all started somewhere and speaking for myself, it has taken years to get what I have now...
I believe that the red and black disks on the, receiver side, speaker wire posts pop out to reveal banana plug receptacles.
thxx
Nice to see your set up Cap. One of your fellow pilots might be Scottish....did you know?
Secret Project is a drum kit. Make sure to practice!
Shhhh, it's a secret!! Cap hasn't noticed yet!!!🏴🤫
@@gr-skil lol! David Gemmell reader eh? (Me too)
@@Pablo668 yes indeed!👍
Scott does 3D modeling, photoshop and video editing work with a 1080p monitor? You need to update my guy.
@@TeenTeenFpv That's a big jump congrats. I know when I went from 1080p to 1440p it was crazy how much better everything looked. After using 1080p for so long 4k must look amazing.
1:00 that my friend is a drum set. I'd know that anywhere. You guys starting a band?
Holy shit... my wife is going to kill me if I get into this. I never saw a liquid cooled computer before.
Awesome!!! Surprised no one is running Thrustmaster Warthog set-up.
some very nice rigs there .i got a new computer built and cant wait to start playing the game but my 3080 needs to be RMA because it wont stop throttling at 65c even know its set at 83c limit . i dont have a 5900x like you guys just a 5800x
Some serious rigs!
re the 70's audio setup? Not sure what connectors you need, but if its the speakers - you can just stick the wire in and screw them closed?
