Hej
that's a siiiiiiick setup congratulations on how far you've got drew, i remember watching you since 2014 i think and its crazy to see how it all changed for the better i'm hyped for you man
ah thats cool, just watched the old hotas video a few days ago and was wondering if theres gonna be an update. also started DCS because of you. great timing, just as i start my master thesis. then again, i can learn slow and get deeper into it with new gear after i begin working a real job. thanks for you content, i always enjoy what you put out.
I fucking love youtubers who are so good at making content that even a setup vid is a pleasure to watch. The editing, you choice of music, the pace, the soothing commentary, this video has vibes, especially towards the end !
And please, what is the music at the end ?
It’s a track from GR wildlands. Not sure of the name!
@@OperatorDrewski "Broken Bolivia" by Alain Johannes! Best part of the soundtrack, loved switching to walking mode and hiking up the side of a mountain whenever that played lol
Reminds me of the soundtrack from the Metro game series, love it
Couldn’t have said it better myself
Hell let loose at 172 frames, I can only dream with my 45 frames medium settings :(
I think I started watching your videos around 2018/2019 ish so I’m far from an OG fan, but 3 or 4 years is still more than enough to be able to see this video and know how much progress you’ve made over the years. I just thought that I should remind you that we love you Drewsk, all 1.67 million of us.
Congratulations man. Seriously a great success story. It’s nice to hear about someone who worked their butt off to get where they are and see it all pay off.
Was he very poor before? I'm not seeing the "Great success story" thing. If an adult cant afford all of this, they've done something very wrong in life.
@@Glorious_Kim_Jong_Un it's all about priorities, really. Very few people make their gaming PC the number 1 priority, and so when it's time to pay for the PC, they rarely have $ 5k lying around. Especially that a decent PC can be found for $ 2k.
Now obviously, if someone like Drewsky has his PC in the top 3 of his life priority, then even with a minimum wage job, you can buy this PC within a year and enjoy it for 6 or 7 years.
Great video as always. Really nicely explainded!

man, i remember watching your videos from WAY back then. so cool to see how far you've come, definitely deserve it. congratz on the pc, and all the success! :)
I loved the ending where you talked of your story. It reminds me of when I begged my mom for Assassin's Creed 2 because it had history. I played on my PC and it was basically a slideshow but I loved every moment.
Love your set up champ very clean and I’m a fan of your room layout and those art pieces definitely set the tone 👌
Drewski I’ve only been watching for a few years man but you’ve gotta be the best cc for this niche and one of the best in general. You put out excellent content and it’s awesome to see how it’s grown and improved. Keep it up
I am amazed! Your DCS video’s look great and you look very experienced and the amazing part is how simple your system is. Great quality stuff but so simply set up. Thank’s for sharing.
This man is such an inspiration to me when he started talking about how he didn’t have a high end pc when he was younger and low fps and how his friends all had a good one trying to get your money’s worth out of the cheapest decent pc he could find it reminded me of myself I hope to reach his level one day. Y’all ride safe
I'm 7 minutes into a 15 minute video that's basically an ad but I'm still entertained. Thus is the magic of drewski
love your videos and congratulations on the new pc you are one of the main reasons I got into military sim games
Great video and editing skills : ) Really enjoyed watching this video.
Holy hell, that's one awesome looking setup. Love it❤
The editing on this is SMOOTH, well done!
I'm glad I am not the only one starting out enjoying day'z with a low end PC. Playing out at 15-20 fps enjoying the survival. Crazy how far we all come from!
I loooove this kind of content !!
This setup tour was SOOOO well done.
This setup is insane mate, love how easy it is to work in and also play whatever games you want. That GPU is an absolute monster cannot believe it's pretty much the same as an xbox 360 in weight.. Also thanks for the introduction to the artist who painted those amazing artworks on your walls, I have been sat looking through his stuff now for a while and honestly love the concepts.
Hey drewsky what a cool video! thanks for showing us your setup!
One day i'll have one just like that!
That case line is tremendous in its modularity, i have the smaller one and its a work of art. Awesome setup!
I loved this mate, humble and just you as always.
just got an almost identical setup as my first upgrade in years. Different GPU brand, but still a 4090, and a different case. Same case fans and a different CPU cooler. Sick setup bud, highly recommend an Ultrawide at some point in your future. The content looks amazing on it, if the resolution is right
Dude same I just got the gigabyte 24gb 4090, the white version of this case and fans… seeing this video let’s me know I did a good thing… I mean I knew lol but seeing this is sick
My seventeen year old son is a huge fan of pc gaming and over the years has contributed to the cost of lower to mid range upgrades. This spring I asked him for his wish list of gaming PC setup, as dad in my late 40's most of my gaming was on consoles or arcade machines. Little did I know how expensive the components could cost for a top tier gaming PC, I had planned to surprise him for Christmas but was worried about having part/component delays do to availability and ordered everything off his list in June. To my astonishment it all got here by mid August, So I called a close friend of mine and had him come up to our place for the week and do the build for me. On my son's 17th birthday I gave him his gift, sure the thing cost me almost 8k with all the peripherals but the look on my son's face and his overwhelming appreciation were well worth it. While I totally suck at PC gaming, mainly do to the learning curve going from console to PC I gotta admit now I want to get one for myself so I can grind away with him, maybe my wife will hook me up lol here's to wishful thinking lmao.
@@jericho1-4 That's sick to hear, honestly a good dad moment. Honestly as a hardcore gamer, I can say that MOST modern game titles have some sort of controller support on PC, so it makes the switch a little less aggravating and tedious to learn. Movement on keyboard in general just comes with time/practice so it isn't a huge deal if you aren't the best right away. I'd say stick to the core games you are familiar with, and every once in a while try to use mouse/keyboard a little more, and maybe try some new titles to test motor function. I recommend trying CSGO, as there's community made maps for a gamemode called surf, or another called B-Hop. They are just movement based minigames that allow you to practice moving around, and it has a fairly high skill cap, so it encourages practice and time played. Plus CSGO is free, so it isn't another little payment you have to worry about. Or you could go with the classic, Minecraft, where creativity knows almost no limits. The basic core game is very simple, and allows you to practice WASD+mouse movement with a fairly chill vibe.
If you end up getting yourself a PC, maybe your wife could get one too and you could do some fun co-op games to help encourage that same feeling as "family game night" once did for many families before modern video game consoles took over. I always held the sentiment that Gaming as a whole is one of the best, cheapest hobbies, as it only requires a startup fee and power/internet. PC gaming, I hold slightly higher in regards, because at one moment you could be playing a game, then running through e-mails, then watching a movie, then googling something. The customization is near endless, and the amount of things you can accomplish is wild. A lot cheaper than working on cars or in a woodshop all day at least. Food for thought, but yeah, i digress. You're a stellar dad for that
@@thecowboyfromcali Are you telling me I can buy PC ported console controllers to use with the PC to keep things simplified for me. That listening to my kids bust a gut laughing at me and my plethora of mistakes I've made on Console ported versions of games I've for years? Yeah I knew this, sometimes it good for our youngins to see us as parents make mistakes get flustered and scream out "you mother fucker". I've had some say I'm deceiving him by doing that, but I would honestly rather he know I don't think I'm perfect or unflappable and that he is intelligent and can teach his "old man" a thing or two. While I do own a good deal of tools and equipment having wood working or car restoration as a hobby has never interested me. Over the years my hobbies have been all over the place. My first huge project was to design and equip a home arcade with replicas of some my favorite videgame cabinets from the 80"s and 90's. My kids wife and I started that about 4 years ago. And it took almost two years to renovate and reinforce one of the outbuildings on our ranch. Our next family project was to build a dirt bike/ATV/UTV course that skirts our property fence line. My kids and I got in to airsoft when they were in their early teens as did a lot of their friends from school so with their input and help we built an airlift field out on an unused pasture field. My ranch isn't used for animal or crop production unlike a lot of .neighbors. So it gives me not only the availability but the incentive to always come up with something for us to do as a family with the land I will one day pass on to them.
@@jericho1-4 Yeah, PC ported console controllers really aren't a thing, but Windows allows full compatibility with any Xbox controllers. And the customizability of the PC allows you to download any software needed for using pretty much any controller on Windows. My friend and I use controllers for games all the time on PC and it doesn't require too much setup at all. Steam has some built in controller support for modern controllers like PS4, PS5, Xbox series X/S, and Xbox 1. Games that are cross-platform, like Call of Duty, or Rocket League, also usually have native controller support built into the game already. You can also buy custom controllers or download software for older controllers that use USB, like if you had a Gamecube controller or if you favored PS2 or something older, you can get some custom designed controllers for PC. Also since you like arcade games and stuff, I assume you are a huge fan of older games as well as game systems. PC allows you to get "ROMS" and "Emulators" to download and play pretty much any old game you could think of. One of my childhood games was Burnout 3: Takedown, so I just downloaded it off a website and now i can play it on PC in 2023. It's a little complex to setup for someone who isn't super knowledgeable on PC's, but there's video tutorials for just about anything nowadays so it shouldn't be hard to find. I also have a Guitar Hero guitar from my childhood that was just sitting in a closet, so I downloaded this game called Clone Hero for free, and now I can play all the old Rock Band/ Guitar Hero games and songs for free as well.
It's cool to hear that you have a ranch that's basically a fun-playground for your kids and their friends. I had a little land growing up and Airsoft, Dirt bikes/ATV's, Paintball, and all those fun outdoor activities kept me active and healthy. I'm on about 46 acres of ranch out in the middle of Texas now, with some cattle and chickens who keep me active now that I'm older. But I find myself lost for what to do with the spare space, as the actual pastures take up only about 10 acres. Was thinking of putting some small rentals on the lower area where it's away from the main house, for some passive income. But I'm at a loss as to what the spare land should be used for.
What a DORK! Love your content, keep it up!
i can't imagine ever having a pc that amazing. wow
You have a talent my friend. You're about half my age and will never see this post but I'd say you're a polymath (or something exceeding it) with regards to your profession - and it is a profession. Watching your night vision video, when you commented on the ready or not menu music, I thought the exact same thing. "That's wonderful" music.
Thanks man :)
GJ! Your a big inspiration and I hope one day, I can become as big as you. Keep up the great work!
Nice Setup! I can vouch for those audio technicas. I've gone to closed back for a few years but the open back AIRs are just awesome. I might actually pull them back out again and try out some games now.
Awesome setup!
I'm not surprised to see Jakub Rozalski's art on your walls. He's a great artist and you seem like a person who can see the awesomeness in his artwork, his storytelling is amazing.
YEAAAHHHH!! The best kind of content!!
Excited for this one

Bro this is beautiful. I can’t wait to build something like this when i get a better job
Such a beautiful set up. I have almost the exact same set up except in all white including the case. My favorite case I’ve owned to date. Game on OD
Right in the feels when you mentioned the 400$ PC running DayZ on 15 FPS. I've been using crappy PCs my whole life and finally decided to go for some decent one (i9-12900K, RTX3070, 2 144hz 27" curved monitors) and now Im running into issues like my desk being too small, want a new chair, need VR or TrackIR for DCS, a better hotas and Im not sure where to stop. I think DCS would be way more popular if all of those things wouldnt be so expensive + you still have to buy jets.
ooof 3070 in dcs are you trying to speed run no more vram
My build that i have had since 2013 FINALLY bit the dust last year, i was in a tighter spot so i settled for a pre-build HP omen. It's honestly not bad aside from the lack of cooling, i run a literal box fan near it to help it out. It'll hopefully hang on a bit longer until i can invest in another build, i'll be checking out Metapcs for sure.
Very nice Drewski! 👌 Love me some Wildlands OST too!!
Dude ur life is my heaven, moustache, cute cat and an epic flight sim, what more could you want! Great vid btw!
Amazing production quality
great video! something a little different for viewing to compliment your normal great content. thanks as always !
I have been waiting! Let’s go!
I'd really loved the video. I'd like to see a video of the set up of the second pc and how you link it with the sound set up.
Love this setup, I recently got a I9 13900K and a 4090 and was blown away by it so glad to see I am not the only one :)
Also depends on where you coming from. For years I played Runescape on this 13" laptop with an i3 and integrated graphics. When I built my first pc on a R5 3600 and RX580 that experience for a few months always blew me away because not only did games run but they looked good. All this talk of 4k and 120fps is just a marker of where these engineers have gotten to. I read online that the process node coming up of 2nm is almost the same size of a strand of DNA which is 1.5nm. That blew my mind. We're at the extreme limits of where silicon is going to get us.
@@DixonErHands I agree , there will come a time in the probably not so distant future where Moore's Law will finally be dead. At that point the only way forward will require some insane innovations in fabrication. But I don't think the home computer is ready for quantum computing just yet.
@@BallisticSollution Engineers are going to have to get REAL creative to get uplifts on silicon performance because we're coming real close to where lithography can't etch much smaller given that quantum issues are going to become an issue pretty soon. 3nm process node is literally 2x as wide as a strand of DNA. Honestly I see no problems humans can't solve. Quantum computing is definitely a long ways off but even in the past year they've made some pretty crazy leaps in the stability of them. Them needing to be cooled down so far and vibrations outside of it causing calculations to get messed up are some pretty huge hurdles yet. I'm just imagining when someone throws a LLM on a quantum computer and ends humanity overnight.
Glad to see all those years of content paid off
Been watching you for a few years now. Every time I have saved up, life gets in the way. Wish I had the disposable income to drop on a beautiful setup like this. Maybe one day I’ll get there.
I got to fly on the air forces flight sim at Cadets last night, recognized DCS and made me want to buy a pc and vr so much more.
Damn, that last part really hit close to home. I haven't had a PC to game in for a few years since my old laptop broke after almost 10 years (it was chugging along GTA V lowest settings at 10-20 fps by then).
It's been tough saving with a family to take care of but hopefully I can save up and build one soon.
Nice setup drewski. Also, the ghost recon wildlands music is just awesome. Takes me back, everytime
I made my first computer 2 months ago after having just using prebuilt mid tier for years. Got a Ryzen 7 7700x and a gigabyte 4070ti Eagle, got a Cooler Master M360L, 27 inch 1440p monitor. I’ve been able to run all of my games including squad and Arma maxed out and staying above 90 in heavy games like those two and above 120 in the rest, no issues and the temps never reach 70, usually staying high 50’s or low 60’s. 7700x was the way to go for $300 that included Jedi Survivor. Couldn’t be happier with my build, don’t need anything new for years to come
Heck yeah dude, thats a cleeeean high end build with great FPS for the dollar. Good stuff. Enjoy it!
@@OperatorDrewski Thank you Drewski!
I also loved the AD700X’s. If you’re looking for an upgrade that has the same sound profile but will also fit small brains easier, the AKG K712 Pros are incredible.
Thank you for including STALKER Gamma, and Tarkov really cool setup and video!
Highest production quality "Setup" video I've ever seen. Great video! You made me go on a hunt for new headphones.
Of everything in this video, the last bit is what I can relate to, I also spent a lot of time being a gamer by heart only, I never had a console and was never able to build a gaming PC till 2019 and it's a great feeling. I still can't afford to buy the latest and greatest, but I can at least enjoy my hobby.
Drewski your stache is just on point bud. Never shave it off please.
Really neat setup 😀
I loved your last one and this one doesn't disappoint
Sheeeeshhhhhhh love the vid 👌👌 crazy pc 😂 might get a new one soon 🤔🤣
I genuinely appreciate the simplicity of your whole setup. Some of the setups from the flight sim crowd are absolutely ridiculous.
Pretty much the blue flavor of my build. Mine's an AMD 7950X with an Asus Ryujin II LCD cooler on the ASUS X670E-E MOBO, 64GB of G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB, and the same ASUS 4090 OC but in white mounted on the white Antec RGB vertical mount. Had to literally squeeze the GPU into the case but it fits & temps are fine. I went Lian-Li for my fans as well but I got the Infinity fans in white.
Cool video man, when is the night vision video you talked about going to be released? Been looking forward to that
This is ridiculous....ridiculously AWESOME!
Very nice Drewski, I built a next level racing Boeing ejection seat simpit, all winwing gear including the mip, ka50 collective|, f/a-18 grip n js, f16ex js n throttle body n grip, plus a buttkicker too.
Then I had Apex Gaming build up the alpha model to mid range upgrades. About $7k.
Totally worth it!
Nice, Drewski!
Love ur vids
"wonder how fast this could play arma 3, like maybe what do you think 15 fps?" most accurate statement lol
I shared the warehouse that Meta PC worked out of up in Scottsdale (they moved to a different location about a year ago). Meta rented that space from us for a couple of years, I had no idea Drewski partnered up with them. They were pretty cool guys and it was cool seeing all the different PC builds they were working on everyday. Not that anybody asked lol
Bro, please make a project reality video. That game doesn’t deserve to die. It’s got fighter jets, tanks, snipers, and is made by the team went on to make squad! Just saying if you did then your army of blueberries would bring our game back to life.
I knew 4090s were huge, but it still took me by surprise when i opened mine. It is basically the limit for what can fit in a Corsair 4000D. It was like installing an Xbox onto my motherboard.
I have the same ROG Strix 4090 OC he has but in white & it was a literal squeeze to get it to fit inside the Fractal North.
As always, another great video. I hope to find you during the coming apocalypses my friend. Till then we train in Video games :D
Damn, that PC looks beautiful !!!
I love flying in DCS world with HeadTrack IR and pedals/joystick
finally you posted a new setup video
pretty good setup!
Wow did this video make me want to make my gaming room not look like a gigantic plate of spaghetti and monitors. That setup is so clean
I definitely just side eyed all my dangly wires. lol
Hey drew three areas you should consider upgrading.
The virpil cm3 base can be configured to not return to centre, this is great for flying helicopters so the stick isn't fighting you all the time
Virpil also makes collectives now, so you can have a much more realistic throttle and blade pitch control they even have a replica blackhawk stick for it
Finally alternative grips for your main hotas setup, the thrustmaster warthog, f16 and fa 18 grips are all compatible with your virpil base (and the cm3) and virpil also makes a replica tomcat grip, (they also sell replacement parts so you can fix your current grip, and they do have a 2 year warranty with the option of either sending it back or they send you the replacement parts to fix it yourself with their help)
Obviously non of these are necessary but they might really improve your setup
Hi Drewski. Great vid. At 10:36 it seems your throttle and stick are quite far apart. Do you move you HOTAS desk mounts to the outside of your desk when not using the flight sim gear and more towards the center of the desk when you are? Thanks!
Correct! They're far apart just on "standby" until I fly!
you pretty much got the same case as me respect that airflow!
Dude i absolutely dig your drip in this video. The hair, the beard, the shirt, the pants... its perfect dont ask me why
Thanks for the story drewski been watching you for a minute and you never fail to entertain keep it up my guy 👍
Those Halo Reach figures are SO GOOD!
So glad to see that no matter what setup you have and what settings its at that stalker will not go past 120 fps when you go to a random poi
