Like just imagine if your were just out of the shower getting ready for your day bobbling along to this great song and then ya look over and there's Def Leppard in your living room doing the exact same with the exception of getting ready for their day fresh out of the shower that is....lol. Then when it's all over let's do it again Men... this time a different song and we'll comeback to that one again.... dammit. Good way to start your day !!!
Steve Clark using a Telecaster with a tremolo! This is the first time I've ever seen this. Awesome!

Charley Dowd..'The Riffmaster' usually recorded with strats and teles in the studio, not sure many know this. Yes this is one of the very rare times he's seen using this modded tele. It is very difficult to see the pick up set up due to the colour of the guitar, am pretty sure he's added a humbucker, not sure but it'd be strange for Steve to use a tele with a trm and not have additional grunt. Looks like a Kahler as Steve usually used a Kahler which he had modded to all or 90 per cent of the Hysteria era but if you want to see the entire rig run down of this rock star who strapped low oozed cool, owned the stage and was the lyrical, musical, melodic, riffing, harmonic genius of this band got to the web site 'Steve Clark In Loving Memory'. For there, as with the Twitter feed you will find the most comprehensive list of guitars and equipment Steve used throughout his career. The above is not seen often, Steve really did switch to a Floyd in the mid 80's before settling on a Kahler and the sounds with his dirty finger/PAF/triple pick ups was just magnificent.

You mean vibrato bar? Leo Fender got it mixed up back then with tremolo and vibrato.
The night this was recorded (a Wednesday for broadcast on the Thursday) The band was also playing Newcastle, I was at the City Hall awaiting their appearance, they arrived on stage 90mins late after getting a private flight up north. I'm assuming most of the bands main gear will have already been at the venue for the gig that night.
This performance means everything to me. It was just so important for me. You know that first song, the one that inexplicably says 'yeh man, this s*** is for you? Well, I was 11 years old when I watched this on 'Top of the Pops' on the Beeb and I remember scrambling to get a tape in the video player halfway though the chorus. For years my panicked recorded version started 'Listen.....red light, yella light, green-a light, go'; so thanks for giving me that special day back x

I remember watching this when I was 11. I used to record the songs I liked and nearly broke my leg trying to get to the video player at the end of the first chorus; I've still got the recording from 'Red light, yellow light....' onwards This performance changed my life. It was 1987. It was Top Of The Pops and it was mimes because most artists were asked to mime on that show - especially if they were international artists.

My favorite band. Having said that, this is a performance that they were forced to lip sync. Anyone who’s a fan at all would know that because there isn’t a live version of the song anywhere in the RUclips universe that sounds like this one. This particular one is identical to the album because it IS the album recording.

Miyagi92 It was a popular thing back then. Fortunately, with the exception of a few pop stars these days, we see it less and less. It’s always a decision by production, never the artist or the management (in most cases.)
Well seeing as it wasn't worth setting up all the equipment & doing soundchecks just for one song it was obviously going to be a lip sync version.

I always remeber Queen in italian tv show called sanremo, they had to make a playback and they did, but after one minute of song Freddie stops doing the lypsinc amd just has fun and dance... like "we are Queen, we dont need to pretend or make this shitty fraud because we are great actually".
