Awesome.. eh my favorite perhaps is in the thumbnail, the Adventures In Tune World card, I thought it was the Grim Reaper when I clicked on the vid, only to find out later it Gretzky lol, I started chuckling, I want one lol
I haven't commented on your vids in a while. Keep it up like always. Oh I has a little giggle how you pronounced Dominique's name as Dominic 😂 I slowed down big time on 90's cards at the moment and been focusing on Yankees Prospect Jasson Dominguez.
What would you think if I told you I pulled one of the rarest Jordan cards ever? Probably the most important of his career. I would like to hear what you think the value might be on this super rare card from a 1992 limited set... I'm not sure if it's worth grading, or I should leave it raw? My last post will show what I'm talking about... I would really appreciate your feedback. New sub!🔍👁
Anytime a card has a Jordan cameo or any player cameo, the person who selected the image is incompetent at their job. There are thousands of images they can choose. Why choose a an image with another player.
Yet that's also the definition of a "poster/posterizing" some dude. While I agree 1000% here for any sort of true/base/insert card of a player, there's also another side where it is done intentionally and purposefully well. Some of the most iconic cards have this sort of composition, like the Kobe v Lebron Topps, Kobe's 1996 chrome rookie, various Barry Sanders cards, Shaq on a lot of various cards while dunking the house on top of them, Mutumbo getting postered, Allen Iverson cards, etc. do justice to a multi-player orientation because it makes sense. "Posterizing" is literally the definition of this. I'm in full agreement when some set uses this poorly or redundantly without a point. But for some of the iconic players, it just makes sense to show Ai breaking an ankle, Kobe driving past the lane, or many gods showing their absolute dominance dunking over someone. So it depends on the card(s)
@@mestizo3113 there is a Gerald Wilkins base card, maybe Topps stadium club 95 or 95, where Wilkins is making a move to basket and Jordan is in air going past Wilkins like he got juked pretty bad. I put that card in a toploader, i thought it was cool. His cameos can be cool because they show him playing defense like sneaking up on someone.
Hakeem Olajuwon is the greatest cameo player of all time. ok tcdb I started contributing to a list with Hakeem cameos cards and it's over 500 and there will be more. It's strangely fun way to collect.
I didn’t know that about the Come Fly With Me promo card. Very cool!
Thank you putting these out. Loving the vintage non sports cards videos. Looking forward to the next one.

Great series-seems his completed Basketball unopened box sales prices are low vs what I see actual.
Funny to me that Upper Deck chose to utilize Charlie Sheen for a basketball set when he's the iconic Ricky Vaughn!
That Hakeem in pristine is a travesty for that price in my opinion
I also look for cameo cards. I have several Jordan cameos, plus Center star cameos.
Fun to look for.
Just LOVE your videos. Would be a little lost as a collector and investor without them. You help keep the hobby going strong!
this was a great vid!
Hey Playboy, 👋 I have 5 unopened North Carolina wax box. I paid $10 each box I had 2 cases never opened those cases
Love the 1994 Michael Jordan Topps Finest. Beautiful design. Would love to have one for the PC one day.
Do you think slabbing the 1991 NBA Hoops USA Olympic team is worth the investment? The condition and centering is Mint/NM Love your videos! Thanks!
Can anyone comment about Michael Jordan Valentine's Day cards

If they're going to be that incompetent at their job, they should at least get a shot of MJ getting dunked on or getting his ankles broken.
