I think this dlc is the best they’ve ever made but it isn’t my favourite, old hunters still has my heart. But shadow of the Erdtree is incredible, and at times was very easy or very hard and every second was so fun
Nothing will topple the old hunters DLC! We soulbourne fans ate good that day 💪🏻👔
Yaaaa Bloodborne was so good it still rivals Elden Ring for my favorite installment
You don't need to beat Radahn to get to Putrescent Knight.
You just have to wait for the Seal to break, which it quite loudly let's you know is broken.
My bad I didn't realise it was when the rune breaks 💪🏻👔
I sometimes had no idea where to go but damn. I loved playing the DLC and exploring these new lands. The exploration was even more fun than in the base game I think as many paths were well hidden.
For me it wasn't as fun to explore as the lands between but it does get relatively close and for just DLC that's damn impressive 💪🏻👔
Asmondgold didn't quit at Radahn, he picked up the slap Radahn starter pack. Fingerprint shield and spear :p.
He went cheese then don't blame him, made the video when he stopped playing so my comment is a little outdated now 😅
@@Guyinthetie Well, one could argue that getting the shield is just as hard as the Radahn boss fight. So it somewhat legitimizes its use :p
Where is this hole with the giant hand in 17:30? Ooo i miss that
Finger ruin next to shadow keep right next to the herd of finger spiders 💪🏻👔
2:50 Swift Slash AoW is broken asf
I didnt think they could make a final boss worse than Elden Beast, but here we are. Honestly it felt more like luck that i beat him than me becoming better. At least i could do it without respec.
And that final cutscene meant literally nothing, we already knew that stuff, no?
I spent 9 straight hours trying to kill that bit**. By the time he finally dropped dead I had absolutely no sense of satisfaction. That phase 2 was complete and total BS. The aftershock were borderline impossible for me at least to figure out.
Very sour taste the ending to this DLC! Which is so disheartening as it was such a great experience till radahns fog door 💪🏻👔
Because iron pineapple probably hasn’t been outside his basement in 10 years
Might be a nice basement 💪🏻👔
Parry the Madness guys, then you can kill them. Ziostorm taught me that one.
Wait you can parry the frenzy guys that don't take damage! 💪🏻👔
@@Guyinthetie yeah, and they don't respawn, you have to kill them just once.
I don't know if this was on purpose but you mispronounce or misname almost every boss in this video 😂
Haha I kind of like it. Disrespect Radahn by saying his name wrong
@@Gusthepanda it was about the only way I could dunk on him to be honest 💪🏻👔
I gone for Igon
Raw done for Radahn
Goe Lahn for Jolán
Yee Myr for Ymir
Placi Durex for Placidusax
I’m done 😭💀
@@richardadam3525don’t forget Maki-leth for Maliketh
Hey man, tried to join your discord but the link in your RUclips bio is broken, could you update the link!
Thank you so much! didnt realise the invite expired!! its now updated 💪🏻👔
You and Charlie (Penguinz0) would be a perfect combination to do a Elden Ring video collaboration.
Haha doubt my content is on his level but I appreciate it bro 💪🏻👔
Last boss seems to have insane variance. I went in blind him and beat him after 3 deaths. Fight becomes really easy with a holy resistant shield. And I’ve always been a shield wearer in any game I play… didn’t even understand he was supposed to be the last boss because he died so fast. Had to google “Shadow of the erdtree last boss” to realize it was all over. This was at Scadutree blessing 12 btw. So not carried by stats either. Just carried by shield.
I guess with the no shield handicap and using Dex weapons i did give myself more trouble then the average player 😅 not to mention radagons talisman 💪🏻👔
Using a certain item on last boss makes him much more manageable...
Which item?
@@Guyinthetie Miquellas Great Rune. It stopped him from using his charm.
You can evade almost every single attack in the dlc. I have not done some of them myselves but i have watched hitless boss runs dogde them. The final boss does bring it down but not by much it just needs less clutter in phase to
It's really just the second phase. First phase is fine.
First phase is learnable for sure but the second phase is just too much 💪🏻👔
I've done 4 playthroughs and Radahn is a nightmare for casters, 99% of your spells will not work in phase 2 because there's no spell that is fast enough to cast without getting hit and still do more than 1k damage. He's a build killer, without guarding phase 2 require you to frame perfect dodges which isn't possible for the majority of players. Your only hope is that your summon will take aggro long enough for you to cast a few high damage spells. I enjoy phase 1 but despite phase 2 more than Malenia random hyperarmor moves and Waterfowl Dance.
It's so odd I never got the "difficulty" with Melania like she's super tough but not insane imo makalith will always be my biggest wall in base game.
But yes radahn is just straight up not fun if you don't have a specific build 💪🏻👔
it's gotta be bigger than bloodborne AND it's DLC. it is massive. a good time to be favoring elden ring
Wouldn't say it's bigger then Bloodborne base game with the DLC but for an expansion it's damn big and worth the time sink and money 💪🏻👔
I took down radahn with double giant crushers no magic, definitely doesn't fall under cheese but it can be done. Wasn't anywhere near first try though.
Does seem strength builds are eating good with this boss.. cries in dex 💪🏻👔
@@Guyinthetie I feel that got a dex build I'm running through with and it's definitely harder
I called the inquisitor holy renalla he also had summons and spammed you. The ash of war from his weapon Was so amazing though i killed every dragon with it I got to finally play a holy build all the way to Radahn without having to respec. Radahn is so easy with a shield and bleed build that i dunno why people think hes so hard. I guess if you think shields are lame and its only viable to roll for a real playthrough then hes hard. At scadtree 20 hes a pushover I got to 20 in my newgame plus 1 run I did.
My only legitimate hatred for this DLC is Radahn which I think most people can agree on, other than that every second felt like something I haven't experienced from this game and everything felt very to the core but upgraded ten times over, I feel like they outdid themselves comparing this experience to the base game which is already VERY good, Surely it isn't a masterpiece and my excitement for what I hadn't done in the DLC died with Radahn and Gaius. There are some bullshit fights in it and some bullshit moments in general, but the DLC delivered and I have no doubt it will be taken very seriously in the future for the rest of the industry on how to make a better DLC than the base game, an upgrade that is worth the price tag, you don't see anybody saying the price is unfair because this thing is packed and it delivers an almost all fronts, if you turn a blind eye to the ending it is nearly perfect.
Worth every penny! I just wish the final boss delivered a better ending to the package 💪🏻👔
Bloodborne is still my favorite of all time. Granted, it was the first one I played so I’m biased but after getting every plat trophy Demon Souls Remake, DS1R, DS2SotFS, Bloodborne, DS3, and Elden Ring, (Sekiro too but not Amored Core) it’s still the best one to me. Love the vibes, ambiance, weapon designs, and the SCORE
It's close between sakiro and Bloodborne but I think I'm more on sakiros side for my fave 💪🏻👔
The Thumbnail 😆
It's oddly fitting right? 💪🏻👔
MOAR elden ring 💪🏻 ruclips.net/video/UwSesFhFrYw/видео.html
Once your around 150 or so your weapons should be doing their optimal damage at minimum. Higher levels just give you more options which is why the damage and defense didnt really matter past that.
Overall the DLC was good, but anyone who calls it perfect is coping hard.
Exploration was fun to get lost in, but you get a feeling of it being packed and empty at the same time. The bosses were a roller-coaster of good, bad, and bullsh**. Weapons and ashes are fun as hell and strong in a flowing sense rather than being clunky like the base stuff (like how your character temporarily learns how to swing a katana with double skash).
You’re character is truly the most terrifying in the game.
Just the standard reddit mod I assure you 💪🏻👔
No shame in using summons for radhan
Thanks brother thought I was going to get chewed up for that honestly 🙏🏻
Now I wish the dlc was the size of Limgrave, because we'd have better exploration.... I found the dlc a bit disappointing, I really wish this dlc was better.
If this game ends on the note that it did I’m actually super disappointed, they can’t do this game like blood born or sekiro, this game does deserve Atleast one dlc the size of this and one half the size, but if this is it then that kinda sucks, it’s 7.5 for me, the world itself is a 10
I feel Bloodborne rounded out nicely with the DLC and sakiro though I would of loved more it didn't need more past the boss rush.
Really hope we do get more DLC's for elden ring 💪🏻👔
@@Guyinthetie nah im trippin on bloodborne, that whole game was really good and the dlc is insane, 😂 earlier I was a bit static, sekiro I mean tho frfr that was a bit of a let down as well, that game deserved more love, Elden ring tho is a different beast, and I think wrapping up this story with this being its only dlc is very frustrating, if they had another dlc the size of this and one more half the size as both I think that would be a great way to end this game it has a lot of lore to work with, but I don’t want to see an Elden ring 2, that’s just too much, the only problem with making two or more dlc’s is that if your a completionist this game will take well over 1000 hrs giver or take
So your criticism is a soulsborne boss is too hard ? Yeah this boss is fucking hard but it’s literally the last Elden ring boss every and anything else would be a disappointment. Also radahn does make sense lore wise if you would’ve done the npc quests and payed attention to the characters ambitions
There's satisfying difficulty and broken AF not fun difficulty.... This one was not satisfying.
I get why he's here in terms of the lore it's just weak 💪🏻👔
@@Guyinthetie i don’t wanna be that guy but honestly I’m not that good in Elden ring and I’ve beaten him after 2 hrs with parry’s and no armor. In my opinion the difficulty is high, but not „broken“. But to each their own I guess …
Optimize your build please 🤣
My min maxing wasn't enough? 💪🏻👔
I cant get over the fact that your using a talisman that increases the amount of damage you take
Whats wrong with you?
No joke it wasn't until editing the last part of the video I realised... Thank god I didn't have the health debuff from Fia as well 💪🏻👔
Scadu fragments are boring to get. There is alot of open world burnout
At least you have something to hope for when you travel down a area that just leads to fodder enemies 💪🏻👔
The final boss was so weak, I was so disappointed to see radahn again, Elden ring already suffers from the repeating boss fights and I waited two years to fight a dude I already fought
Fun fact. It's not the same boss lmao. Same character yes. Different combos, different look and lore wise caps off probably the best character in eldenring lore.
He's hard, as should be. If the final boss was a push over it would be so much worse
@@lemmiwinks200 I don’t have a problem with the difficulty, I just have a problem with radahn being the last fight, I was disappointed you can say he’s different but you just stated he’s the same character. All I see is radahn and even says it in the name 😂, the lore felt rushed. I’m not saying it’s a bad dlc by far in fact the lore surrounding the entire area is amazing. But the fact that miquella chose radahn is so rushed. I’ll stand by Godwyn should’ve been the last fight or Atleast a fight any day of the week. As soon as I saw the cut scene I had turn my game off for awhile because it to me it was a let down, I mean be serious two years to see a guy we’ve already faced with a re skin and a different move set and a pathetic blood magic spell, behind one of the biggest lore names in the entire game. This is one of my only complaints about the dlc tho other than a let down of a final boss everything else was peak.
No, the DLC sucks. Story sucks. Map sucks - huge and empty, compare with how the souls and core elden ring maps are made, where there's something interesting behind every corner (or a gank squad of 5+ enemies, dammit DS2).
Some bosses are just dog shit. Oppressive if you don't summon, oneshotable if you summon. Last boss being easy mode if parried because he doesn't even get to do his dumb attack chains in p2 is peak garbage design.
Overall expected better from FS. No fucking way i'm running around this entire empty map in NG+ just to beat the only couple of good bosses in this DLC again.
5/10 at best, and that's only because messmer exists and map looks pretty.
