I usually feel content with waiting, then I see someone like you doing beautiful work, which instantly makes me feel so impatient to start it, but I have enough works in progress as it is, and their leftovers are part of the plan. Meanwhile, I'll just have to wait it out and vicariously enjoy the growth of yours through your updates.

I love using scraps of wool to make jumpers, using blocks of different colours. Also I have throws on our settees with various squares of left over wool.

How long is (or has) this blanket taking you to finish? I’d LOVE to do something like this but I don’t have the patience for projects that take ages to do.
It would drive me nuts to add blocks like this. I would worry about placing the colours evenly about the afghan. And when it gets bigger it would be such a pain to cart the whole thing around around.
