Thank you for performing a loudness test - that’s missing from so many other reviews, and it’s why I’ve been curious about a replacement for my own Bissell SpotClean Pro because it is immensely loud as well

Bissell made a huge mistake by putting a 3.5 amp motor on the Pet Pro.
(The tiny Max Pet has a 3.3 amp motor.
The original green machine has a 2.8 amp motor.)
The Pet Pro should have reapplied the excellent 5.7 amp motor from the Little Green Pro but they cheaped out thinking no one would notice.
Why is this upsetting? Because if they would’ve put the correct motor in this, it would have obsoleted all of their other models.
There’s really no excuse because the Bissell HydroSteam (which has the same form factor as the pet pro) has a 9 amp motor inside it so it clearly fits.

Solid points. I prefer the newer design of the Pet Pro in being able to easily access, clean, and dry out the tanks. And it definitely does the job without being too loud....but more suction/power would've been great too. I wonder if they're looking for the sweet spot between power and noise? Or if they purposely are trying to not obsolete the other models by mixing up the improvements between the new models?
