I don't think carpet will make a huge difference unless you have very solid floors and are just buffering the noise inside your space.

These are meant to be a more permanent solution. Removing them is a very unfun process - Usually you'll want to heat it while gently trying to pry/work off the hook with a putty knife and then work at the adhesive left on the tile. If you're looking for non-damaging solutions, I would go with the suction cup designs. None of them are perfect, but at least they don't damage anything!

I has held up well, but the design is more about secrecy than convenience. If you're looking for convenience, I really love the Scooch Moneymate case. @alderandjade they are very expensive, unfortunately. But worth it for the job they do. I was so freaked out about the Neosporin not working like it has in the past. I guess the day of super bugs are here. 🥴

I actually use a different EKO trash can that I bought myself nearly a year ago: ruclips.net/video/FAi303j6Mlc/видео.html - It has the same carbon filter option and stainless steel exterior, but is a step trash can. So talking to that can's durability, it has held up beautifully and still looks like new. The metal doesn't show smudges and is super easy to clean and the slow drop lid is perfection. I have never actually added a carbon filter as we just take our trash out when it starts to smell so I cannot speak to that. As for this sensor can, it has a much more built-out lid for the sensor controls with a smoother lift and drop. I would say that one concern I had is that it opens ALL the way and stays open for a moment before closing...which wouldn't be great if the trash was smelly. With the step can, I can step more lightly if I don't want to open it all the way. And this one is a little smaller, which is actually the only reason I didn't swap to it when I was gifted it. My family of 4 needs the larger can! The place I donate to loves me!

You can see it popped out at :53 in my video. Honestly, I just yank it out and it pops right back in by inserting the metal rod into that central insert. There isn't much to this piece so, if yours isn't just popping back into place, there might be something wrong with it 😬

Darn! I'm so sorry to hear it. Our cats definitely have their own opinions...which I both respect and am challenged by at times!

You have full control. It can automatically run after the box is used and you can schedule it to run at specific times through the day. You can see those settings real quick in this video at 5:38.

@ thank you so much! I ended up figuring it out haha. also how quick did your cats transition? My cats got immediately afraid of the moving part and my boy even sprayed everywhere on the wall down the hallway. I’ve still got another one they use in the bathroom so they have somewhere and they have never had an issue with the transitions of litter or litterbox. They usually use it within the day. But it’s been 3 days now and they haven’t used it yet. They got scared of the moving part so I stopped the cleaning and I added their poop in there. But I’m just worried.

@ Yikes! I'm so sorry your cats didn't easily take to it :( I was very careful with the first automatic box I introduced to my cats. I kept it unplugged with some used litter in it for the first few days and then had it do very delayed cleanings until they were both bored by it. Before the automatic box, I had two manual boxes. So it replaced one of the manual boxes and the other still sat next to it. Then, once I knew they both weren't afraid of the automatic box, I took the highly risky route of taking away the manual box completely. It wasn't too hard on me as I work from home and in the laundry room right next to were I work...but I closed the rest of the doors in the house and praised my cats and gave them treats when they used it. They got used to it quick. Since then, they transition without issue to all the random boxes I test on them. I'm not sure what the best path is for you, but it might help to put the litter boxes near eachother so the cats get used to going near the new one and go from there. I wish you so much luck!

The manual says: "The monitor automatically provides the computer system with its extended display identification data (EDID) using display data channel (DDC) protocols so that the computer can configure itself and optimize the monitor settings. Most monitor installations are automatic; you can select different settings if desired" So it should be automatic. And it was automatic for me. Yep! There is no approval process as - hopefully - you're only giving access to people who will send appropriate images! That said, not just anyone can email images to your frame. The default in settings is that you must approve all new senders before their photos appear on your frame. You also control which album they share to. One frame can show multiple albums or you can have different frames showing different albums. I'm using the standard plan, which is free. It lets me upload 5GB of images/videos, have up to 5 frames, and have up to 5 shared albums. That said, there are two other plans if you want more storage, control more frames/albums and want to get fancier like edit the photos in the app and broadcast to your TV. I'm not going to name the prices here as those change, but their website only shows the more expensive Nixplay Plus plan. On the app, I also see a Nixplay Lite plan that is half the plus plan. And, oddly enough, the plus plan is $10 cheaper on the app than on their website 🤷‍♀

No. Facial and body hair growth is caused by hormones. Vitamins cannot change those. At least that’s what all the online sources confirm. This is meant to strengthen hair by promoting keratin production and improving the condition of hair follicles. It can also help reduce breakage and shedding, and improve hair texture. I personally have a lot of thin hair prone to breakage so regularly taking this makes a huge difference for me…and my nails have never been stronger. But one key piece is that it is that I have to keep taking it. I stopped this past fall (was feeling cheap) and - after a couple months - my roots came out weakened and I had a lot more breakage again, losing a lot of my hard earned healthy hair growth. Painful. @@inwiththenew the K300 doesn’t have a carbon filter that collects odor over time. It’s just a screen you clean from time-to-time. And it has never gotten smelly for us - most of the time it has collected some lint and cat hair from the air. It’s really just helping the smell dissipate faster over any real odor absorption. We also use our turbine fan for noticeable smells 😁

@alderandjade supposedly there's an internal carbon filter of some sort that can be replaced as well. The plastic screen is just to stop large dust particles from getting inside. Google Toto bidet smell and you'll see it's pretty common. I still use the fan to dry off though, just didn't like the ambient odor of the deodorizer.

I didn't have the patience to investigate further bc I already knew I wouldn't be paying for any charcoal/carbon filter replacements (if the feature does indeed exist). When you really think about it... The concept reminded me of the filters in cheap hoods above the stove, it ain't going to do much or last very long. TBH sometimes the deodorizer smell was quite unpleasant after absorbing odors for months, so I'm shocked you haven't experienced anything with an entire family using it 💀.

@@inwiththenew I've gone through the entire manual digitally so I could search terms and it doesn't say anything about a carbon filter. There is a filter for the incoming water that can clog with time, but wouldn't smell. And then there is only the simple screen for the deodorizer and a simple vented piece that the air blows out. I also found the exploded view parts diagram and there isn't a carbon filter in it. And I couldn't find anything about a carbon filter for the K300 on the official site. It just says it has an "Automatic air deodorizer" so I'm pretty sure some sites are using marketing content from other Toto products. This feature doesn't exist on this model (at this time!)
