Only just seeing this . Ohhhh I loved what you made 🤩🤩🤩 thank yoooo for the multiple shout outs ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You are very welcome 😀😀 it was fun playing with the stuff 😀😀💜
I love resincrete, just wish it wasn’t so expensive for the amount you get.
I went through the bag I had completely 😞 would have loved to make more 😂😂😀💜👍
I've heard it's similar to plaster of paris.
@@izzycurer1260not at all. Once water is added to PoP it begins to setup almost instantly, this stuff gives you about a 5-8 minute working time and it’s runny to get into each little detail of the mold.
I buy the 15kg tubs of aqua cast it's huge and lasts for absolutely ages. And an amazing price for the amount you get x
@@karenmclaughlan9128 not sure I can supply that here in UK
As always Wendy, you served up a fabulously fun, truthful and informative video. Your makes are fantastic, I love the owl and the elephant and I will have to check out that plant pot! Thank you for sharing 💕
Thank you so much Jan 😀😀💜 I really appreciate that 😀😀 I believe the plant pot is in my Amazon store front 🤞😀💜
Well, I like the Rose😊! So the conclusion is that Resin Crete doesn't absorb the Mica Powder brushed on the mold? Hmm, I wonder why?
Yes that’s the conclusion 👀😳 but coated with UV resin it works 😀💜👍
Will you please send me Clar's RUclips channel. Thank you for showing me that there is something easier to use, I just found out that I am allergic to epoxy resin and now you have giving me hope. Thank you and God bless you too.
Ofc I can. Happy allergy free crafting 😀😀

I just got resin Crete . I’m disabled and getting an inventory
Ah the mistakes the money the waste
But, I’m very bad with measurements
I have a scale and cups
lol
Have fun with it Pinab. I am sure you will 💜
Hi,don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but if using mica add too powder or water when mixing. Then it does not rub off. Great video as usual...
That might have to be tried 😀😀💜👍
I did the same it doesn't help that it says on my resincrete on back 100g water and 30g so thank god for Ur video came across Ur's before I did Claires crafty corners
😂😂 well I must have read it about 10 times and still got it wrong 😂😂😀💜 glad it helped 👍
I found that the measurements don't add up. I made the pot from Lets Resin, and it was about 150g in water, it wasn't enough and ended up making a total of 250g for the pot with the lid. I like resincrete, so easy and you just need water.
Yes Roronoa 😀😀😀 what’s all that about 😂😂😂
Resincrete is definitely fun 😀💜
Have you noticed Resincrete pieces changing color? I have some weird splotchy places on some pieces and i can't figure it out.
I noticed the latte colour changed a little, but that’s it. But Claire had the same thing happen to her.
👀😳😀💜
I’ve now got some Resincrete but not the pigments. Can you use spray paint on the finished piece?
🤔🤔 I’ve not tried it 🫢 so I can’t answer that I’m afraid 💜
great video always love the way you help us to understand I would like to know how to work out over circumferance what amount of product per mold
Me too 😳😳 I do believe Claire has a video on how to work it out. But that’s jesmonite so it may be different for resincrete 😀💜👍
Thank you for this video. I have never used anything else either. Mine has been waiting almost 2 months for me to try it.
It’s a little daunting isn’t it 😀😀 but I’m so glad I tried it 😀😀 lots of fun and really easy and quick 😀😀💜👍
You should try aqua cast it's easy to work out how much product to water and gives the same result. Homewear colours are great
Well maybe I will 😀😀 thank you 👍💜
So you can’t use any pigments with this? I bought it to try, didn’t get pigments..
Well as I said I’ve never used anything like it before and this was my first try of it. As it’s opaque any colour would be muted, but I have only tried jesmonite colour.
So honestly
Perhaps other colours would work ok 😀💜
The rose would have looked nice if the mix was blended with a solid white.
Yes I think you are definitely right there 😀😀💜
Can't you just make your own by mixing gypsum with resin?
Yes but it wouldn’t cure in 30 minutes and it would probably be full of bubbles 😳🤔😀
Aquaresin is good too, same stuff. Also if you need to colour mineral resin you don't have to buy expensive colours, like 10 tiny bottles for 12 quid, you can use stuf like acrylic paint.
Thank you Gary 😀😀💜 I haven’t used this product much at all but I will do more 😀😀💜👍
I will have to try this Wendy! Turned out gorgeous. Thank you so kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all. Take great care xoxo
Thank you so much Dale 😀😀💜👍
I love the elephant my cousin collects them so I could make here a key ring for her. I loved how the mica powder high lighted the piece.
Sweet the have an Aussie site, sooo happy about that😹😹
Thank for sharing 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you for watching and commenting Dawsie 😀💜👍
Who is this "Claire" you refer to? I'd love to add her to my crafter vids.
Sorry Deb 😱😳 here is her channel link

Beautiful Wendy! I believe Claire has a formula for eco pour. To measure out liquid for moulds. Hope this help!
Oh fantastic 😀😀 I will have to get that from her 😀😀💜👍
Thank you for sharing your experience…. I have had mine for awhile now … so I guess I’ll just go for it! Love that pot! Color is awesome. I didn’t see your link for the pot. I’ve been looking for one just like it. Thanks again for inspiring me Tom try it. ❤
The link is in the Amazon store front at the bottom of the description. I will make sure it’s in there as I might have forgotten 👀😳😂
Thank you so much Cindy 😀💜👍
Hia Wendy! May I ask, do you wear a respirator when you use UV Resin? Thank you in advance :)
Yes I do 😀😀 as I use resin a lot, I really do not want to become sensitive to it. I hope that helps 😀💜👍
Wonderful video!! Thank you. 😊😊
Thank you so much Elisa 😀💜👍
I wonder what would happen if you take a thinner version of the heart and put it in resin to make a coaster?
Oh I think it would work well 😀😀 check out Claire’s channel 😀😀
ruclips.net/video/Kidl42dXzqQ/видео.html
thanks for your experiments in the name of science! i think i might have to have a go at this resincrete stuff
It’s definitely something I am glad I tried 😀😀💜👍 thanks Tsulong 😀💜
❤ this experiment and really like that flower pot. Also the detail on the elephant looks nice. Myself, I like the rose and the way it looks. Kind of variegated.
Thank you 😀😀 someone said that the rose would have been nice if the back colour was white and I think that would have done it for me 😀😀
I'll have to see what Eco Pours are available here in France ...
It’s definitely something to consider 😀😀 happy hunting AI 😀😀💜👍
I wonder if there is a chart to convert what the mold holds to how much you need to mix.
I think Claire has a method which is better. But I just didn’t think about that 😀💜👍
The elephant was a very happy accident, gorgeous! I really appreciate your honest and authentic approach.
Thank you so much Djzairia 😀😀 I do hope I didn’t butcher your name 👀😳 I struggle with things like that being neurodivergent 💜
I love your experiments, Wendy. I'm so glad you tried the powders on the molds. The elephant turned out really cool. Did you end up putting UV resin on the owl? Love the flower pot, too! 😊
No I didn’t Lisa I am kinda rubbing it off every time I pick it up 😂😂 but at least we know 😀💜👍
Love that owl! Is this similar to plaster? Will is break if you drop it from a couple of feet off the ground? I like resin because it’s pretty sturdy, I’m just wondering how this compares.
Well I haven’t tried to break anything yet 👀😳 but plaster takes much longer to cure.
Maybe I should try that though 😱😳
@@Toonpish I would love to see a drop test for durability 😅
😅🤣 we will see 😂
I haven't used the eco pours yet. Is the smell as bad as resin?
Oh there is zero smell 😳 I should have said that. 💜👍
I did it wrong the first time, too. 😅 I used that same turtle mold and the legs and tail broke off. My fault as I was too rough in the de-mold. I also just got the mica you're using and I am greatly disappointed. I spent about $37 plus postage to the US, and I bet I could pour the mica from all 6 tiny pots into one pot. I think it's a rip-off
Oh I’m so sorry to hear that 😳 they are super pigmented and you need such a small amount of them.
I really hope you like them once you try them as the colours are fantastic.
Thank you for the comment 😀😀💜
@@Toonpish I tried them yesterday and, as you said, a little goes a long way and the colors are intense. So, I like them very much, but I still think that they are overpriced.🙃
😀💜👍
How heavy is resincrete in relation to regular epoxy resin.
I’ve not weighed it but it is definitely heavier.
Maybe double the weight 🤔🤔🤔
Hello again Wendy. Thank you so very much for the Resincrete video. I have had some for a while but have been a little afraid to give it a go. Thanks to you I am ready to jump in. Hoping all is well with you and yours.
Have lots of fun Forrest 😀😀💜👍
A can of polyeurathane spray can be a good sealing option, easier than brushing and you don't get brush lines.
Thank you 😀💜👍
Love watching your videos Wendy. Love resincrete. You can use your rubber stamps and silicone inlays too!
That sounds like a plan 😀😀💜👍 thanks Tina 👍💜
Matthew got me the JDiction Resincrete kit that Steve McDonald was promoting on his site… I openEd the box and was very disappointed in the kit itself… I have a video up of the unboxing… I have not tried the actual resincrete itself yet though… I will film using the resincrete when I try it… I use a product called Activa Permastone Casting Compound and absolutely LOVE IT… it is so smooth and lovely… it takes mica powders mixed in as well as pastes and dyes but not inks or alcohol based inks either… it will also pick up the mica like the JDiction stuff did… I sealed it with uv resin… thanks for doing your video… glad to see you’re keeping your mistakes in so we know what happens if we do what you did! I love the honestly!!! Take care dear…
Thank you Holly😀😀💜 I do think it’s important to show everyone that we all make mistakes 😀😀😂💜
Sounds like the activa is great for you.
Thank you so much for sharing this with me 😀
@@Toonpish I will get around to trying the resincrete… I was just really disappointed in the kit… I’m hoping the resincrete itself makes up for it lol I wonder if Let's Resin will ever come out with one of these jesmonite type products?
I have no idea 🤷♀️ but I would love it 😍
@@Toonpish same here…
I have only seen one other crafter use resincrete.....Steve McDonald. He's in the UK like you.
As I understand it, companies send out their new products to lots of people to review and publicise it 😀😀
I know Steve is in the UK 😀
Never met him though 😀😀💜👍
@@Toonpish I just meant that if you were wanting ideas to make with the resincrete, he's a good resource. I like that you do experiments with resin (and other materials), and show us the successes and the failures.
Thank you Kandi 😀😀😀 i appreciate it 😀💜👍
I am thrilled that you did all these experiments, especially the mica powders; I have the resincrete and have yet to use it. I will learn from your start and hope to have your success in the end. I appreciate you and what you share!
Thank you so much Rhonda 😀😀😀 i absolutely love my flower pot 😀😀 it’s my favourite 😂😂
I really appreciate your comment 💜💜💜
Those r the kind of mistakes I would make lol
😂😂 none of us are perfect 😀😀💜👍
Hi Wendy! I tried to comment earlier and it didn't 'take'-- so I hope this doesn't get doubled. I've been subscribed to your channel for well over a year and I LOVE your videos. I've learned a lot from you! I've been working with Resincrete for a few months, and have also tried Aquacast (now that it's able to be shipped to the US!) and hydrostone for comparison. I had the same problem with "how much to mix to fill my mold" until I realized that Elichem has a "mold calculator" on their website for use with Aquacast. It makes things SO SIMPLE. Aquacast is 100g:35g and that ratio works fine for Resincrete. It extends the work time by a few mins, which is great. I think on the back label of the Resincrete pouch it even states that 35g of water is ok. Anyway, it's great to not have to guess and then quickly make more, or have too much. I've learned to add about 10ml to the total mold volume and that seems to be just right. However, as with resin, I always have another mold nearby for any extra and at this point, I have several nice Resincrete pendants and earrings! Thanks again for your awesome videos! 💙💜
Hi TT thank you so much for the information 😀😀
I have run out of resincrete at the moment, but when I get more I will definitely look for the calculator 😀😀
I really appreciate the time you have taken to let me know.
Thank you so much 😀💜
I wonder if resin Crete would work with polymer clay and a oven?
🤔🤔🤔 perhaps 🤷♀️ I can’t answer that at the moment 😳
Sorry I’m not more help 😀💜
@@Toonpish that is ok because I just wanted to know because I have some craft kit by another RUclipsr that goes by the name Nerdecrafter.
New subscriber. Thank you for the experiments! Beautiful pieces you created. Thank you! 💜
Hi Kathy 👋👋 welcome to my little channel 😀😀💜 thank you so much for watching and commenting 👍💜
Howdy Wendy, just thought I'd show you some love from my crafting channel 😊 The name of my regular channel that you see in Claire's is Marcy aka DAsAngel! Can hardly wait to see what happens in this video! 😊
Oh thank you! 💜
Great tutorial and review 🤗🤗🤗
Thank you Mary 😀😀💜👍
You are so amazing, thank you for your experiments,,,,love love your shows....cheers
Thank you so much Lois 😀😀💜👍
I love the resin crete so far. Steve McDonald had a link for a kit and I bought it. It comes with molds, colorant, cups, wax, sand paper and a stir stick. I made a tray and it came out perfect! No bubbles and so smooth! I really love the owl that you made! It might not work, but I'm curious as to whether you could put mica powder in the resin crete?
That is a question 😀😀 I’ve run out at the moment but it’s definitely something to try for the future 😀💜👍
Awww such a shame about the rose ( I liked it ) I Love the Elephant 🥰 The others came out great to 🤩 As far as mistakes I am always making them Wendy so you are not on you own 😁 Great video 😍
Thank you Lisa. I really appreciate that
As an alternative to jesmonite which is harder to obtain in the US it works. But too many of these items are so expensive for us average users. Oh by the way your hair is fabulous.
Thank you so much 😀😀 you have a valid point 😀💜👍
Is there any kind of resin that can go outside?
I have actually already ordered this product. I’ll have it tomorrow. Of course I ordered before researching. Your video was the first I have watched. I’m so glad that I ordered this product. I can’t wait to get started using it. Thank you for your wonderful demonstrations.
Thank you so much 😀😀 next time don’t forget your discount 😀😀💜👍
You are so down to earth & humble, which is what partially draws me all the way from Canada to watch your video's ! 😊
You're also very creative and not afraid to think outside the box ... even if it is a fail. You just pick yourself back up, dust off the resincrete powder and move forward !
And as a bonus, you typically find a way to correct your mistake, allowing your viewers to see you in a vulnerable way. This only reinforces the fact that we are ALL human. I for one, am impressed that you don't edit those parts out because we do all learn something from it thats truly valuable.
We all make mistakes, especially when math is involved !
Once again, I thank you for taking us on this journey with you !
Knowing you & your perseverance, next time I'm willing to bet that you'll be making a replica of the Leaning Tower of Pisa out of resincrete !!
All the best !
Wow Thank you so much ... I have just found a few comments hidden from me in the held for review section and I had no idea they were there ... so please forgive the very late reply . I really appreciate your comment and yes i do feel i have to me myself , warts (figuratively speaking) as well lol
We are all human
make mistakes and learn from them
and I love helping others realise that thats ok
just have fun anyway
thanks again for a great comment
💕
What an awesome video for beginners to eco pours, Wendy! I have their kit, but haven't even unboxed it, yet! Thank goodness they've included their colorants, as mine are all for resin! I LOVE that flower pot! 😊👍💕
Oh you will love it for sure 😀😀💜 have fun 👍💜
I picked up a package of resincrete a while ago, I just haven’t figured out exactly what I want to try making with it yet… and truthfully, I’ve been a bit scared of it too. 😅
It’s just the measurements that is a little awkward 😳😂 but it’s a lot of fun 👍💜
Love your creations, I probably would struggle with measurements too. I still haven't perfected my resin work and I love shiny, sparkly thing's, so might stick to resin as I don't have a craft room and use my kitchen bench for resin. So definitely no storage space for a new element ❤
The thing with resincrete is it is a lot safer. But I understand what you mean about shiny things 😀😀💜
The first time I used the eco pour stuff, I did the same thing and measured it backwards. Couldn't figure out why it wasn't curing. Thank you for testing the mica powder. I had been wanting to do that and see if it worked, now I know.
Thank you so much Genette 😀😀😀 well at least I’m not alone 😂😂💜
Subscribed. First honest review I’ve seen. I’m a beginner also. Now I’m inspired to try it
Welcome to my little channel 😀😀👍 thanks for joining 💜 I really hope you enjoy my content 😀💜👍
I love working with eco rainbow, i use aquacast, 8i had the same problem to start off with, by not mixing enough mixture, i now weigh my piece once it some out of the mould, this gives me a better working ratio than pouring water in and measuring how much water the mould holds. Love what you have done with the chameleon colours, i am going to try them on a mould next,
That is a great tip 😀😀 ty 💜 have fun 😀😀💜👍
I've just done the ratios the wrong way round! I searched for why the mixture had separated and came across your video. Glad it's not just me 🙂. Having said that, I should have watched your video through, because I added the water to the powder rather than the other way around and my resulting mix was a lot thicker than yours.
It’s starts to thicken unevenly if you put the water to the powder apparently. Can end up with lumps too.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video though 😀😀 have fun with your next creation 👍💜
Wonderful!! All the pieces came out so nice. This is a timely video for me-waiting until the weekend to try the Resin-Crete I got. Great tips for newbies!
Thank you Karen 😀😀 I definitely one of those when it comes to eco pours 😂😂😀💜👍
I watched a lot of Resincrete creations, but no one‘s covered what works with it and what doesn’t work with it and also having never worked with it the mistakes I will probably make in the beginning. Lol.
I haven’t used it that much at all. Praps I do more 😀😀💜👍
I’ve ordered some of this yesterday and am so glad I watched this! Thank you so much lovely xxx
Glad to help 😀😀😀 have fun with it 💜
Sooo pretty thank you so much for sharing hugs Shelley ❤❤❤ p.s. I love the dragons xxx
Aww thank you so Shelley 😀😀💜👍
Can things made with ResinCrete go outside? I have someone looking for garden dragonflies but I know my resin will just melt in the summers here. Would this be a good alternative?
Yes but you will need to seal it 😀😀💜
you know in your video ,you showed me a lot of things i wanted to know . i was going to
right to you and ask you to try this type of craft,as i know you would do some amazing things.i love all your work .they are all beautiful .🙋♀

I have ResinCrete and can’t wait to try it. It may be in one of my first videos. I only have one up now, but am working on more. Just have to get into a rhythm.
That sounds fantastic Diana 😀😀💜👍
From a beginner’s point of view… I’m a resin newbie and have only ever used UV resin and standard 1:1 resin so I’m definitely in that category. That makes this the perfect video x
Thank you so much Bernadette 😀😀 I so happy it’s helped 😀😀💜👍
I ordered some resincrete and molds after watching your fun video. I can't wait to try it. Thanks
Have fun with it 😀😀💜 thanks so much 👍💜
I have the same owl mold 💜
Nice one 😀💜
just bought some of this stuff too, you should try making terrazzo, so many great color combinations to try and it comes out beautiful, 😁
That’s definitely something on my todo list 😀😀 thanks Sue 😀💜
Every week, you impress. I love love love the elephant head and the owl, OMW, yes!
Aww thank you so much DM 😀😀💜👍 you are very kind 😀💜👍
Have never tried resin crete but have used plaster of paris quite a bit. I coated it with uv resin after I let it fully cure...worked fairly well.
Thank you so much Peggy 😀😀 I really appreciate that 👍💜
Just an little tip; when measuring the volumn you need by using water in the mold first 1 fluid ounce requires 40 grams of powder and 12 grams of water. So, for example, if your mold holds 3 fluid ounces of water you would need to mix 120 grams of powder with 36 grams of water. Love the pieces you made. JD has also come out with color pigments for the Resincrete.
Oh thank you so very much Sandy 😀😀😀I really appreciate that 😀💜👍
@@Toonpish You're welcome. Someone in a group I am in figured it out and did an Xcel sheet. Just thought I would pass that information on. 😀

I’ve never used Jesmonite so can’t comment 😳 but Claire from @clairescraftycorner would probably answer that better 😀😀💜
I looked at this but it is twice the price of Jesmonite. I have no idea why it would be so expensive.

Hi Wendy. So many new things coming on the market ! I’ve got a ridiculous amount of stuff from projects long passed (they were new at the time) that storage is becoming a problem.
