Once we all figure out how to get the glitter to show up, I'm looking forward to making white sparkly snowflake ornaments for Christmas! 😁
Oh that’s something to think about 😀😀😀 sounds wonderful 😀💜👍
O wow Wendy so in love with how the trinket tray came out , just beautiful 🥰
Thank you so much Geraldine 😀😀💜👍
I love the results, and the speed of curing is spectacular.
I recently learned that there is going to be a mandatory safety training for those who use diisocyanate products professionally, starting August 24th, 2023. PU materials are based on diisocyanates, which can cause dermal and respiratory allergies. I don't know if such regulation exists in the US, but it does in the UK and EU.
Oh really??
I will have to look into that 😀😀
Thank you for the information 💜👍
There are certainly clear P.U. resins. Color_pro is one 🙂
Aww thank you Naudia 😀😀💜👍
I got my start in molding and casting in... 2003, I think? ...doing pieces for replica movie props in polyurethane resin. Never got tired of watching that stuff bloom! After using it for so long, doing epoxy nowadays is like a quiet stroll in the park, vs. sprinting like your life depends on it with the poly 😊
That is a great analogy 😀😀😀 well put.
Thank you 😀💜
Hello From Long Island New York 😎 Love your videos 🤩🤩🤩
Thank you so much Madeleine 😀😀😀 hello 👋 😀😀💜
Got a massive group of people who will absolutely love this! Cant wait to get my hands on it and have a playyy.. 🇬🇧
It’s definitely fun fun fun 😀😀💜👍
I’m obsessed with this resin and how fast it cures I love all the pieces you made
It’s definitely hooked me 😂😂 thank you 😀💜
Love what you did with this new stuff! 😍
As I said to Claire over on Patreon: PU resin is a proper cardio workout with how quick you have to mix and pour!
I usually just take my time sit in the chair 😂😂😂 but with this oh no 😂😂 lots of fun though 💜
Oh it picks mica up well
It definitely does 😀😀💜
Awesome video Wendy. Absolutely stunningly Beautiful items. Thank you so very kindly for sharing your wonderful talent and videos with us all ❤ Take great care and keep creating and smiling ❤
Thank you so much Dale 😀😀 thanks for taking the time to chat too and hope your dad gets better fast 😀😀💜👍
Thank you so kindly Wendy ❤️
Love how it picked up the mica on the tray. Beautiful 😊❤
Thank you Beyes 😀😀💜👍
Holographic moulds work too
Oh fantastic 😀😀😀😀 I will probably try that too 😀😀💜
Omg Wendy these are amazing love the stickers you added also and the tray wow wow wow ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much Becky 😀😀💜
Beautiful creations, something worth learning, thank you so much for your guidance, Ma'am
Thank you so much Artistresin 😀😀💜👍
That tray is stunning. Seems the best use of the poly resin in using it for the inlay effect.
Thank you Janet 😀😀💜👍
That tray is so, so gorgeous 😍
Thank you so much Judie 😀😀💜👍
I just got some of this resin. I made a trinket tray. I stamped leaf designs on my mold before I poured, and the ink transferred beautifully.
Oh that’s fantastic Judy 😀😀👏👏👏 thank you for sharing 😀💜👍
🎉Great video! Thanks for sharing this new resin .😊
Thanks for watching Gabrielle 😀💜👍
This was fascinating! Thank you for showing the time lapses....it was awesome to watch it work! While I'm not impressed with it having to be just white or lightly pigmented, I really did love the way it picked up the mica powder directly from the mold/inlay. I will definitely need to give that a try! Thank you so much for bringing us something new and challenging!
Thank you so much Charlene 😀😀 I can imagine all kinds of bright colours with white behind it 😀😀 yes it definitely liked the mica 😀 💜 I’m glad you found it interesting 👍💜
I was thinking the same thing, the colours added to the resin just did nothing for me, but the tray now that was WOW better if you could make it black as that does show up the mica powders better. I wonder if they will sell it in Australia, will have to check with my supplier and see if they have heard of it.
😊
I hope you are successful 😀😀💜👍
I really dig your experiments Wendy!
Thank you Lisa 😀😀💜👍
Wendy
What a fantastic idea and piece. I see so much potential for jewelry with this resin. I am not a huge fan of this brand of resin but I will definitely purchase this epoxy resin. I’d like to compare this epoxy resin to ResinCrete. Neither of which I’ve tried yet.
You are so talented, Wendy and I’ve been with you since day one - you are doing a fantastic job overall with your channel. You & Steve McDonald Arts & Crafts are my favorite. Your word is nicer than Steve’s but Steve makes me laugh out loud and he is a really good teacher of technique.
Thank you, Wendy
Thank you so much Emerdoodle 😀😀😀 this resin isn’t epoxy it’s polyurethane 😳 just to let you know 😀. I’ve just tried resincrete and my video on that is on Tuesday 😀😀 they are very different 😀💜
Hi Wendy great video 😍 thanks for showing us different ways to add colour, you should fill your signature with coloured resin or uv coloured that way it will be flat and you can see it more, thanks for sharing ❤ ❤ xxx
Good call Michelle 😀😀💜👍
Interesting stuff. When I first started using resin years ago, it was clear but the hardener was measured in drops...so many drops per ounce of resin. It was mostly used in the boat building industry. The resin was brushed onto the fiberglass cloth that was stretched over a form or laid over the hull of the boat or whatever it was that you were constructing and left to cure. It could be used in molds as well to cast items in. It cured clear and you could add color to it while you were mixing. Was interesting stuff...quite stinky. It's still available today but not used a lot in hobby casting
Hi Peggy 😀😀 sounds like you were a little ahead of me 😂😂 some companies only sell their products for industry still. And I expect Total boat brand got their name from that 😀😀😀 but I’m happy people saw the potential for art and this craft has grown.
Thank you for your comment Peggy 💜💜💜
You've sold it for Me.. I'm inpatient and dont have a lot of space so the quickness is ideal for me.. cant wait to try it 🙂
Fantastic Jackie 😀😀 it’s a lot of fun 😀💜👍
This is very cool! I have never heard of this type of resin. However it gets a thumbs up from me.👍I like the fact that it is bubble free, fast setting and white. I will never give up using clear resin but I definitely see a place for this new option.
Yes exactly 😀😀👍 everything has its place and sometimes speed is more important 😂😂 thank you Holly 😀💜
I’ve now watched several demonstrations of this and have to say, yours really has been the best. I really want to try this out now 😊
Aww thank you so much Sally 😀😀😀 that’s really kind of you 😀💜👍
so funny, I would have done the same, watching it dry. that tray is stunning :)
Lol thank you nini 😀😀💜👍
Wow! I have seen a few people use this, I love the different things you made.
Thank you Joan 😀😀 I believe let’s resin wanted to get the word out 😀😀💜👍
That is amazing, love your key rings.
Thank you so much Rebecca 😀😀💜👍
Nice! Still scary because of its speed of cure!
Well yes and no 😂😂😀💜
I've never used pu resin but I think I would have been super stressed out with how little time there was to pour! Either way, your results are great! and the small tray.. gorgeous !
Once you have done it once it gets easier and less stressful and to be honest so much fun 😀😀💜👍
I just wish it wasn't white. Black would be great, but I don't think they make that. Thanks for experimenting for us Wendy ❤️
Yes I understand what you mean totally 😀😀 but maybe one day 😀😀💜👍
That's so cool Wendy. I'm not so sure about the result of the coloured ones, maybe it's just not showing up well on camera but the mica coloured inlay worked like a dream.
It is a very subtle colour, but it’s there and does show more in the photos at the end. But yes it definitely worked well with the mica 😀😀💜
Another great video Wendy. 👏😊
Thank you Lizzie 😀💜👍
absolutely love this video & all that you showed that could be done with this resin. I will be ordering it in the very near future. Thank you Wendy
You are very welcome Debra 😀😀💜👍
Thanks for sharing your trials with the polyurethane, I love it and think Ill use it for my silicone mold making shape inlay.
That is great 😀😀 glad you enjoyed it 😀💜
WOW !!! VERY NICE
Thank you L Webster 😀😀 very kind of you 💜👍
Wonder if they will bring out some dyes to go with it ? Brilliant work ❤
It would be great if they do 😀😀 fingers crossed 😀💜👍
Hi, just found your channel. I was watching resin video's and i ❤ them. I'm hoping to try some resin art.
Hi Chrissy 👋😀 and welcome to my little channel 😀😀💜👍
Those are cool 👍👍🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thank you Richard 😀😀💜👍
Super helpful and results are great thanks Wendy! 😃
Thank you so much Val 😀😀💜👍
OK what is that amazing sticker set you are using?
Oh 🤭 I didn’t say I cut them with my cricut 😳 so sorry about that 💜💜
Awesome! cant wait to get my hands on some of this resin. I saw some made by other companies at last years makers central but have never gone out of my way to get some, great to see Let's Resin will have some now. Thank you for another great video Wendy 😊
Thank you so much Daegon 😀😀 just got to wait for it to come here 😀😀💜👍
Great video Wendy tfs hugs
Totally welcome Angel 😀😀💜👍
Great video. I have some of this to try. I like white. I'm impatient. I figure I will like this. 😁
It sounds as though you would fit together well 😀😀💜👍
Hi Wendy!
I love PU resin and yes there is clear PU resin but it is a 4 hour cure PU, I don’t know why and I think the black one is 1 hour but I could be wrong (Amazing Casting brand). Make sure you don’t put acrylic paint it is, I did it once and it bubbled and flash cured! It’s very sensitive to moisture
Thank you Eve 😀😀 I know it hates water but didn’t know about the acrylic paint 😳 thank you so much 😀💜👍
@@Toonpish I admit it did a cool effect though! Lol
😂😂
Wow the inlay tray is amazing. I think I will be petrified to try it , I can’t work that fast. X
But that is exactly what I thought honey 😱😱😱 but once you have done it a few times you definitely relax 💜👍
WOW thats super cool resin would be great if there is a clear version it would be ideal; for people like me that dont have a pressure pot lol
Yes it would Colin 😀😀 thanks so much 😀😀💜👍
Brilliant I didn’t know that you you had a shop on the internet going there just now I don’t know how to work with resin and can’t afford to purchase all the stuff but I love watching your videos thank you so much for sharing hugs Shelley ❤❤❤
I hope you like your dragons Shelley 😀😀😀💜💜💜 thanks so much 👍💜
@@Toonpish I am so excited remember the coffin you made a little while ago do you plan on making any more ❤️❤️❤️
Maybe in October 🤔🤭
I actually just received a temu haul and have a skull box mould 😀😀💜👍
@@Toonpish woohoooo save me one if you can ❤️❤️❤️
😀😀👍
I cannot wait to try this looks really fun to use, thanks for another amazing video Wendy x
You are very welcome Gillian 😀😀💜👍
Do be careful with the P.U. resins. They can overheat and damage the molds very easily. I've ruined quite a few. I'm not even sure what I did wrong, so it might have just been the ambient humidity.
I’ve heard that humidity does effect it. Any water at all. Thank you so much Naudia for letting me know about your experience 😀💜👍
I much prefer pu resin, in fact I haven’t bought any epoxy since Christmas and I will probably stick with this stuff. Your makes are stunning Wendy, really gorgeous 💕
Thank you so much Jan 😀😀 I totally understand where you are coming from 😀😀💜
Oh Wendy this could be a game changer.
It works nicely with micas, but what about chameleon powders & color shifting pigments?
Thank you your amazing
Well as chameleon and colour shifting powder works best with black 🤔🤔🤔 they might not work as well. But only trying them out would see and I will have to do more testing 😀😀💜👍
This is pretty interesting! 😮
It definitely is 😀💜 thanks Danielle 👍💜
Fun video Wendy!
Thank you Ellis 😀😀😂🤭
Thank you that answered some questions i had. Can't wait to give it a go.
Glad it was helpful! 👍😀
I believe you can also use alcohol inks to color this resin. Alumilite amazing resin has this same type of quick cure resin. It was the first I used many years ago. I was able to use alcohol inks in it n had no issues.
👍 thank you so much Meli 😀😀 I don’t use alcohol ink much but it helps me and others to know that 😀😀💜 very kind of you 👍💜
Wow can’t wait to tryout this 😁
Fun times ahead 😀😀💜
Love it x
Thank you Kaz 😀😀💜
They look amazing might try this myself at some point :)
It’s a lot of fun Donna 😀😀💜
Thanks
Yw 😀😀💜
Congrats on your 15k
Thank you so much Joan 😀😀💜👍
That was really cool! I always wondered what the differences were between those two types of resins ….
It’s definitely feels different in the hand. Like a cast plastic, very weird 😂😂👍💜
@@Toonpish well, I think I will stick to what I know lol…
😂😂
I got mine in on Monday and couldn't wait to try it and of course, fell in love with it! Love your videos 💗💗
Thank you so much for telling us your experience Southern Lady 😀😀😀 it’s really appreciated 💜
Those are all really cool! It was fun to watch the time lapse to watch them develop. It looks like the best way to go if you want color is to use mica powder on the mold, unless you only want a hint of color. The PU resin seems to be pretty popular. I've seen a couple other people use it, too, including Claire.
Yes I’ve seen Claire use it too. The Let’sResin brand of pu is new out but there are others on the market 😀😀💜👍
@@Toonpish Yeah. She used a different brand before she found out Let's Resin came out with it.
😀😀💜
I love your videos!! You never fail to inspire us. Thank you so much for that! Could you please link the set of molds? I've searched for hours, but couldn't find them. TIA, if you can. Happy Creating!!!!!
Thank you Jennifer 😀😀 the link is so long 😂😂😂 I was going to put it in the description but it took up too much room 😳
I will put it here 👍
share.temu.com/XRzGkJyZQDA
Hi Wendy love all you videos, you and Claire make my day happy. Can you tell me please where you bought the stickers for this video. Many thanks Sue 😊
Aww thank you Sue 😀😀😀
I forgot to say in the video that I cut them on my cricut 😳😳
Sorry about that 😊🤭💜
Thank you 😊😊
The resin looks great Wendy 🤩 Love all the item's you have made with it 😍
Thank you Lisa 😀😀💜
Wow! This was fascinating to watch! I'd be exactly the same and would sit watching for the colour change 😅
I wonder whether it would pick up the ultra-fine glitters if you bushed them on the mould first 🤔 (I love the ultra-fine glitters for brushing on moulds and druzy inserts with 2 part Epoxy so this would be the test for me 😅).
Thank you once again for inspiring us and sharing the do's and don'ts, and for experimenting with different ways to use it - I'm definitely tempted to buy some! 😅💕 xx
Yvonne it is so much fun 😀😀😀 I was thinking how much I could do in a week if it all was that quick 😂😂
I will definitely be trying glitter as so many people asking about it 😀😀💜👍 thanks Yvonne 😀😀💜👍
Wow! This stuff is amazing! Love all your experiments! I’d like to see if you applied mica to the druzy how it would look. Can’t wait till your next video!
Good point karen 🤔🤔🤔 it wouldn’t be shiny to be honest but it would pick it up 😀😀 thanks Karen 😀💜
@@ToonpishAh, thank you, Wendy!
You are welcome 😀😀💜
Try using mica powder and you can put it in holographic pieces
Thank you Dawn 😀😀💜👍 got me thinking now 😀😀💜👍
That tray!! 😍 loving these videos on the PU resin since I've never heard of it before. Also congrats on 15k!! 🎉
Thank you so much Erin 😀😀😀 is suddenly crept up on me when I wasn’t looking 👀 😂😂😂 glad you enjoyed the video 😀💜👍
Hahaha, I’d have to watch it dry/cure as well.
😂😂 and why not 💜👍
@@Toonpish 🫶🏼
I watched a lot of resin artists use this, it works too quickly for me. It sets white and I like clear casting better.
I completely understand what you mean. It’s not for everyone 😀😀 but it’s good to have options 😀💜👍
Love the trinket tray. 💜💖
Can you add glitter to the PU?
Thank you so much for sharing.....🥰
I expect you can but as it’s opaque it will only show on the surface 😀💜👍
Yes that makes sense. thank ýou 🥰
I really love the vibrancy of the colours on the trinket tray, especially against the white and the inlay has a beautiful pattern. Did you top it with clear resin or leave as is? 😊 xx
I left it 😀😀 I really like the feel of the pattern 😀 thanks Julie 😀💜👍
No. I have never even heard of it. Hummmm it's crazy how it turns white. Watched CCC and was wondering if you could color it. So thanks! now I know, we can color it with powder and it picked up color like a dream. I think the druzy came out nice it was sparkly. Yes, it was fun watching it cure. SCIENCE 🤯I'd love to order some inlays but even you, agreed [on one of the lives] that p&s could maybe even more than a small order 😒. So thanks again for showing us so many different ways to make them.
So you think you can use paste, paint or alcohol ink? Have a great ______. (fill in the black with the applicable time)
DC alcohol ink ☑
Alcohol ink can be added 😀😀 but not tried anything else yet 🤔😀 I will have a play around soon 😀💜👍
Thank you Lisa 😀💜👍
Spread the mica powder on the piece
Great idea Dawn 😀😀💜👍
Hmmm I’m unsure of this puresin. The link for the moulds isn’t working. Thank you for sharing
Oh sorry about the link. I’ll try and fix it 😀😀💜
Wendy you're such a beautiful woman!
Aww thank you Christina 🤭😀🤭💜
Looks soooo vibrant n beautiful with the mica inlay, wonder what alcohol inks would do if mixed with it?😊
Oh 🤭🤔🤔🤔 I have no idea 😂😂 if you try it let me know 😀😀💜
Hi again!. :) I want to ask you if you have done it. if not, pls do it. I have been thinking about how to do it. Have you ever done making a big resin butterfly painting / any shape of an object painting, for example, on glass or canvas without wire (for outline), and without silicone mould ? Resin is within butterfly shape, it is like a painting on the canvas / glass. Can you explain it or show us it? that would be so so nice.
Sounds like a great idea 🤔🤔 I will have a think about and see if I can do something 😀😀💜👍
@@Toonpish yes pls 🙏 :)
Great work Wendy!!! I’m Very excited for when this gets released in uk. I’ve only really ever used PU for things like phone stands and supports for moulds so can’t wait to see what else can be done with it
It’s a lot of fun to play with 😀😀💜👍
I'm not too sure about the white, but for certain projects it could be useful. I love what you did with it, especially the tray. That looks amazing! ❤
Yes I agree with you. I like clear resin to choose what colour if any i want but the quickness is definitely a winner for sure 😀😀💜👍
I watched this again and a question came to mind. I wonder if this resin yellows? We’ll have to see what happens. 🤔
Only time will tell on that one 🤔😳😀
Thank you Jay 💜
Maybe alcohol inks before adding the resin?
Possibly 🤔🤔 I don’t use Alcohol ink very much because it fades quickly, but it an idea for sure 😀😀💜👍
❤❤❤
😀😀💜
I just love this video. Thank you for trying many different ways to use it especially the micas. I can’t wait for it to come to Canada. 🇨🇦 I wonder what alcohol inks will look like or if it will work. Does it say anything about UV? Thanks for sharing
I don’t tend to use Alcohol ink very often so didn’t think to try it 🤔 might have to in the future though 😀😀💜👍
With the inlays? Absolutely awesome. Question - do you need to add a top coat after the decals are added to the keychains? Just curious how you do it. Thanks!
No as it’s permanent vinyl 😀😀 once it sticks it’s so hard to remove. Placing it correctly in the first place is key 😀😀💜👍
I have used this before, have a local firm that sells this resin, I made some lovely little plant pots out of it. Where did you get the stickers from as love those, really finish them off 🥰
Thank you Vivienne 😀😀 I should have said that I cut them on the cricut 😳 forgot to mention that 😀😀💜👍
I use this and I love it!!❤
It’s great fun too 😀😀💜
I can't wait for this to come to come to the UK. Do you know when that will happen, or, should I have some shipped over by Amazon?
Linda it might be a few weeks 😳 I can’t give you a date sadly. It depends on how much interest there is for it in USA 🇺🇸
That's cool 😎 Do they not make a clear 1?
Not at the moment no. This pu resin from let’s resin was only released last Thursday so it’s very new.
Perhaps in time they will 🤷♀️😀💜👍
Being that it's polyurethane based, I wonder if one could do sublimation on a cured piece
That’s a good question 😳🤷♀️😀
We might have to try it one day 😀💜👍
I love your videos especially this one as i very allergic to epoxy resin so i brought this and i wondered if by anychance u could do a video on polyurethane resin using other mediums and embellishments and im un sure what u can use with it hopefully u can for me thanku denise x
🤔🤔🤔 I will put my thinking cap on 😀😀💜
these are great - love how they turned out - gonna have to check this resin out - may I ask where you purchase the designs for the key chain from? Thank you again for these awesome shares
The designs came from cricut design space 😀 hope that helps 😀💜👍
Beautiful, I loved watching. Where did you get the inlays from that you used at the end?
I cut them out on my Xtool m1 😀😀💜 you can also use a cricut 👍💜
Where do you get the different inlays?
Hi Jean 😀😀 I make them myself and sell them on my website if want to check that out here is the link 😀😀

Where did you get the silicone inlay?
I make and sell them on my website 😀😀 I’ll link it for you 😀💜👍
