- Creating a compelling card magic thick that forces a card on a spectator and makes it vanish from the deck involves a clever easy to make gimmick. In this video I show you how to make and use this simple gimmick. You won't need much more than two cards, a scissor and some rubber cement.
Thank you very much for the very helpful description. You could contact a film company and have them film a video with you with e.g. 30 magic tricks for beginners to copy and bring it to the stores.
That's a great idea!
I love when Mike Maione takes the time to record a great tutorial for us!
Thank you. I enjoy making them and I am glad to know you enjoy watching them.
Al Lagomarsino would be so proud
Love your location reveal just plain smart. I think I first learned this set up from Sankey but it’s great to be reminded! So much gets filed away lol.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. I first saw the idea used in a locked deck. Thanks for commenting and checking out my videos.
@@MaioneMagicReview OMG that’s right I knew I had seen it as a kid! You’re right the locked deck. In actuality the locked deck is likely a perfect use for it because it could only fan one way.
Another great gimmick
Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for saying so.
Great performance, great gimmick and fantastic, clear instructions. Thank you, I subscribed and look forward to more videos 👍
Glad you enjoyed it. Make the gimmick. It easy and works great. And thanks for the feedback.
I made a similar gimmick about a month ago, but I used double-stick tape instead of glue.
great... how did it work?
What is the rising card reveal called? That looked great
It’s the gimmick that comes with Jeff McBride’s Kundalini Rising.
Didn't know about the rubber cement tape.
Being an artist and a little crafty as well as being into magic since i was 6-7ish its very hard to believe out of all the gimmicks I've bought and made that that product never came into play for me.
Thanks again Mike!
It’s actually not rubber cement on a roll. It’s extremely thin adhesive transfer tape. I came across a roll years ago when I was a professional photographer. I used a small piece of the material to hold photographs in the folders that I delivered the pictures in.
Amazing gimmick ❤ another tip when your doing the riffle to force the gimmick is watch thier lips 💋 to time it. Great tip for the cover cards for the orientation of the gimmick. 🎉🎉
🎉
Also, it’s hack but riffling too fast at first, then saying, “You have to say stop faster,” will keep the spectator from going too slow and then you stopping before she does. Hack, but it works. Thanks for the suggestion. Excellent.
@MaioneMagicReview oh I get it now! That is brilliant! I will try it out thanks! 🪄✨️🎩
Great and simple gimmick! But, how does the card jump out from the back of the card box?
@@kisike01 I agree

Darn good idea!
I did this years ago
I’m sure you did. The gimmick is as old as the hills. Thanks for the comment and thanks for looking at my videos. Stay in touch.

Thanks a lot. And thanks for checking out my videos.
So 1/16 inch, or 0,0625 inches, equals 0,158 cm, or approx 1,5 mm...
MAN, You gotta love the metric system 😄😉
You will never hear some one tell you to cut off 1/27 of a centimeter 😉
That would also be small ass H, with its 0,04 mm. 😜
We’re nuts for not adopting the metric system. Thanks for checking out my videos and commenting.

It was a great and clever gimmick. Esp the "flip/turn" part, using the spade as an indicator/arrow.
I'm thinking you want 3 of these at card 13, 26 , and 39 (different cover cards of course lol) for that ass that insists they call it sooner or later than the middle... also might be worth buying the "thin deck" just to make the gaff, but they're expensive
@@CP-jc9lj maybe more than is necessary... pick the right spectator, practice hitting the spot, and use the little ploy of zooming past it the first time to hurry the spectator the second time you riffle the cards. That said, I would love to know if you do put three in your deck and how that works. Cheers!
