Or (and one of my favourites) that I'm not white because I'm from latinamerica, even though my skin lacks melanin. One time a woman said to me that I was a "person of color" because I'm from latinamerica and I burst out laughing on her face, luckyly other people laughed with me because I was afraid that she would hit me or something because she looked pissed af. Latinamerican people are mixed, like that's our thing. There is white latin people and black latin people. We come in every single colour but we are still latinamericans but woke people (specially from the US) can't seem to get a simple thing like that. Damn, these people are wild.
Thank you for sharing your comment! Comments like yours show the diversity of our individual experiences which clearly can't fit in to the narrow boxes of Wokism and CRT.
There is a black woman on RUclips who adopted two white latino kids and she speaks about the negative comments from black people about her adopting them. Shes lovely. She originally fostered them and then adopted them. One brother and sister.

Today, most white racism abuses against Black Americans are carefully hidden. PC talk and a few visible display tokens is all that was actually achieved!
@@MolecularArts It's only hidden to simple minded people who are easily fooled! It takes some sophistication and experience to spot today's highly COVERT racist practices. After Jim Crow race segregation laws were abolished in the 1960s, white racist attitudes didn't just disappear! Thus, it became necessary for white racism to go underground. As a Latinas’ point of view I’ve noticed racism is being fought with more racism, and I don’t approve of these teachings for my kids. Children are being taught to Hate, to be racists themselves and hate their country, this is absolutely appalling.

@@arontotheleft Personally, I agree with her that CRT/postmodernism is not the way to solve racism/other issues, but too many people want to pretend that "CRT is problematic bc it's rife w/contradictions & stands in the way of solving the actual problem of racism" is the same as saying "there is no problem - racism against black people doesn't exist today". That I don't agree with. While judging people by their character is essential, character is not something you can judge at first glance or from a distance, so if you're not willing to put in the effort to get to know people in your vicinity who are different from you (ie, be in community with them, not just in the same vicinity) then it's not going to make any difference how right MLK was about that.
Are you a professor? a philosopher? an attorney? Not only is your mind insightful and your reasoning clear, but your method of conveying truth is remarkably effective. God bless you for your contribution to our world.
Thanks for the analysis and the extensive reference list in the description. One concern I have about CRT is that any intellectual framework that rationalizes original sin for an entire group of people could eventually evolve into a rationalization for genocide against them. We learned with the holocaust that the human race can rationalize *anything*, and thus must be forever on guard against that.

Makes perfect sense, "rationales original sin for entire group" is devoid of charity for others. It is lack of Charity that condemns the human race to Hell (Hell in this life or Hell in the after-life).
@@Billy-sy3ed Great question - the folks to answer your inquiry with authority of knowledge for their purpose would be someone not on this tread or even bothers to check out the video. So, what is your conclusion?
This was a puffery warning and a little late for the victims of genocide, slavery, jim crow, and the holocaust. Also, to somehow conflate CRT's search for justice and reconciliation with Nazism is not only disingenuous but dangerous gaslighting. It sounds like in your view, rational frameworks are to be avoided and replaced by what, irrational frameworks?
beautifully put Kimi! As a mother of two, one going into 4th grade and the other in 3rd, I am making the time to sit in on the school board meetings to make sure CRT isn't sneaking it's way in. It hasn't yet, but we're in Western MI and there's the potential of CRT creeping in. I know that many parents are pulling their children out to homeschool, but I feel the need to fight it. Homeschooling is a last resort
Excellent idea, but please protect your rights as a parent to homeschool your children because they will go full force ti prevents you from homeschooling, beyond a shadow of a doubt theas Marxist will go after it relentlessly.
Home schooling isn’t a “last resort”, it’s a blessing for our children if we are able to give them this above average fully enriched type of education.

Your comments are so true. Adherents to this ideology are not interested in their logical fallacies, inconsistencies, or hypocrisies. They just ignore them. After all, logic is just an example of whiteness (which is racist)..

@@cordwainerbird5550 CRT is absolutely NOT about 'honest acknowledgement of white racism'. The core lies of CRT are that 'racism is underneath every single rock, every crack, inside all white peoples thoughts and is always everywhere at all times and during every conservation.' It is utterly insane religious level stupidity. It states at all white people are racist at all times, always, because they have the most power in Western society. It is a laughable, religious level, emotions based fantasy. It is a racist concept to just scapegoat white people for everything. Liberal enlightenment based anti racism already honestly acknowledged the existence of racism from white people (and any other racist people). Society didn't need the moronic postmodernism anti reality, anti objective truth, irrational thinking garbage. The civil rights movement was doing JUST FINE before this garbage came long in the early 90s and hijacked the social justice movements. Society was gradually getting better, white racism WAS ACKNOWLEDGED, but people tried to embrace and love one another, love their common humanity regardless of skin color. CRT HATE common humanity and wants to divide and judge everyone by skin color. It spits on MLK.

While I didn't end up with the career I originally intended (animation), have to say when I moved away I've been more in peace stepping away from the toxic environments that are contributing to the violence our poor country is going through. It's heartbreaking how we did come so far only for it to be destroyed by selfish people who have no intentions of solving problems, but they creating problems that end up benefiting themselves at the expense of everyone else, have the nerve to act like they are virtuous.
"It's heartbreaking how we did come so far only for it to be destroyed by selfish people who have no intentions of solving problems, but they creating problems that end up benefiting themselves at the expense of everyone else, have the nerve to act like they are virtuous." Yep, there's a good reason this type of thing is often called out as "virtue signaling." It's bad/selfish people trying to superficially seem virtuous.
That's the exact situation that I am in right now. My U.S history class has been nothing but all the black history that I learned in middle school and high school. And the assignments were just discussions on why racism is bad. My animation history class was a bit the same. But other than that, most of my art classes focus on art only, so that's good.
Now that the videos are done, I have to say I have immense respect for you. That's beyond applaudable, and you seem like someone I'd love to have an actual discussion with.
You're knowledgeable on so many topics regarding philosophy and the evolution of of social justice movements. Your two videos on this topic have been very interesting and insightful. It made me think of this theory in a different way. Also yea Hollywood drives me nuts with how hypocritical it is. It makes like it's such a standard of representation and social justice when in reality it is one of the most corrupt industries out there and perpetuates so many of the negative stereotypes of different groups of people.
justice for starters would be the true history of WS in America finally being told to EVERYONE. Like the fact that blk owned cities like Wilmington, Tulsa ,Rosewood with thriving wealthy "pick yourself up by the bootstrap" communities that had oil and steel barrons , some owned salt quarries , gold mines & railroads. Many were simply prominent business owners until white convict SLAVES with full military came in and literally decimated the dream by murdering lawyers, sheriffs, governors senators, women , children (those were the ppl in the lynch photos). Then stealing the homes, furniture, personal belongings, land , Crests & Coats of arms of families THEN TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY ASSUMED THE NAMES AND BIRTH RIGHTS OF THE DEAD. AND ALL THE DESCENDANTS OF THESE MURDERERS ARE SQUATTING ON THAT LAND TODAY. but what's done in the dark will always come to the light regardless and I'm here for it
@@thegrandcanyonisegypt2489 I agree, those types of tragedies need to be acknowledged, and if possible, justice needs to be done. But the point is that if a system of 'justice' shifts around, sooner or later it is going to shift against you. Not saying that the current justice systems are perfect by any means. That is why Kimi's message of forgiveness is so pertinent - it's bigger than all of it anyway.
I can't seem to find Christian Marxist's reply here, so I don't know if they will find it, but I'll respond anyway. My original comment would apply to any form of CRT that can be observed to have the tendencies that Kimi is referring to, and that many have observed along with her. Democracy may not be perfect, but at least part of its premise is to protect the minority from the majority. As far as I understand, Marxism obliterates the individual for the sake of the group, which is essentially the opposite story, but on a different scale. I know which system I'd rather live under.
I applaud her scholastic perseverance, but she is conflating her misunderstanding of Kimberle Crenshaw's reference to postmodernism's intersectionality of social constructs to the formal description of postmodernism's emancipation of the autonomous moral self and the vindication of its moral responsibility. Crenshaw was talking about how to incorporate various experiences of different marginalized people into CRT's practice, and how some consideration should be given to the fact that some marginalized people suffer(ed) from more than one marginalization attribute. Postmodern moral autonomy is talking about the individual's responsibility for their own actions. So, in other words, the young lady still does not get it!!

Thank you for airing your perspectives online. I am busy watching a bunch of your race-related videos. I'm busy writing essays for my post-grad. degree and I have to wrestle with CRT for one of them. It is just so nice to find someone who has similar thought processes. Also, love that you've lived in S.A. Hello from S.A!
This country needs a truth and reconciliation commission like SA did. People are hearing about Tulsa for the first time this year or when Watchman came out. The effects of racism on peoples parents and grandparents need to be thought in order to understand each other. Because we’re all coming in with missing information trying to scold one another and we’re talking past each other. So yeah, we need to fully tell the story, truthfully, of this country.
Our local school system plans to start crt next school year. I've been homeschooling from the beginning, but I know a bunch who will pull their children out now. Friends with a family with mixed children. How would you even explain that your half biological sister is greater or less than you based just on skin! Love to you. Keep talking.
Ouch that really hits home. I'm mixed too and I can't IMAGINE being raised from an early age to see myself as a different "thing" entirely than my own family. I think I was lucky enough to not have been raised in a family that thinks this way so that now I can see right through others' idiocy . When I already have to deal with most people who perceive me as unconnected to my family origins, it is scaring me now that they are now seemingly trying to make this written in stone. I think race can and does affect you as a mixed kid and as a mixed adult, but I couldn't imagine that a curriculum in school could help the way mixed kids are perceived by other kids at school. If anything, it would just create more misunderstanding and more ignorant comments about kid's families as the CRT race conversation isn't truly nuanced enough to capture or express mixed people's families or experiences. All the current narrative tends to deal in mostly binaristic racial terms and mixed people are either left out or spoken about in ways that are vastly oversimplifying generalities that actually erase most mixed people. And don't get me started on when they separate identities into rooms to have race discussions. Mixed people cannot fit cleanly into either "the white room" OR "the BiPoC room"!
This is complete BS this doesn’t belong in k-12 period. Kids don’t understand adults BS, when you make the boys apologize for being male. When preschool teacher takes legos away from boys and makes the girls play with them. When a girl is attacked in the women’s restroom from a boy in a skirt. And does it in 2 different schools and the administration suppressed it, and tried to get the father of the girl called a domestic terrorist because he was rightly pissed that the administration did nothing to the boy that did the attacks. Wokeness forget how to be a human being.
That part when you said (paraphrasing) CRT doesn’t critique the nature of black representation in Hollywood, so long as black representation is evident… 🔥🔥 so true!! There are so many perpetuated stereotypes that don’t help or truly empower society! This was such a good video, very well spoken! Props to you! 👏
As human beings, we are never born with prejudice in our hearts. It’s always beaten into us, sometimes physically, more often psychologically. Either you take the beating and become just as bitter and hateful, or learn to fight back, not just with fists, but books, knowledge, understanding
Another perspective on CRT and social justice is that justice is only meaningful for conscious entities. Although they have shared experience, social identities are ultimately just classifications of types of people. A class of people is not an entity. There's no collective consciousness emergent from social identities. There is no such thing as justice for a category of people. You don't need a group conflict model to end racism.
I love everything about your videos. The meatloaf timer and car alarms just make it that much better. (It makes you more relatable.) I agree with you completely. My parents often told me that you forgive a person, not for their benefit, but for your own progress. I believe that resilience comes from letting go of grievances and revenge makes you weaker and more reaction-oriented. Keep talking, Kimi, I am listening.
A friend of mine shared a meme, which I wish I could share now, about how bad it was to treat people the same regardless of their skin color, because I kid you not, it said you don't treat people as individuals if you DON'T treat them differently because of their skin color. The gymnastics required to go that far are terrifying. So I told her I believe in what MLK Jr said, about judging people based on the content of their character and not on the color of their skin, and she called that racist. I'm sure she'd call YOU racist, for not thinking the way she thinks you should, based on your skin color.

Ya know what's really funny? The attributes they associate with "whiteness." One such attribute is: Being on time for work. Apparently, they didn't know me in my late teens and mid to late 20's. Surprisingly I managed to keep the same job. Thankfully, I was able to transfer to another location when I needed to move to another state when I moved in with my brother (long story.) But, at that time. I was a little older and wiser and tried my best to get there on time.
Same though! Reading that list, I was so offended by all the things they were saying were race related. I showed it to a black friend of mine, who has more of those traits than I do and she was LIVID. It was such a racist thing to say! How does it help to tell someone "Being late is because of your skin colour." Like...what? I'm late all the time and I'm as pale as they come...like seriously.

Thank you for your intellectual analysis and offering the background of this concept. As an older white woman raised in a small town in Oklahoma by parents who lived through the Depression and WWII, I grew up with one gauge of people: Are they good folks? 😊 Meaning are they kind, hard working, fair-minded and open to connecting with me? (Indeed-“the content of their character.”) After moving out through my education and career to connect with many people of different backgrounds, that is still my touchstone. It heals my heart to hear you. Truly. The ugliness being spewed and the hypocrisy of so many today is so disheartening. Ethos, Pathos and Logos (!) Great analysis, once again 👏👍. Really enjoyed your critique of Foucault. Am always nervous when people who claim to be anti racist site Foucault or other Marxists. Would like to hear more of your thoughts on that. Called out Hegel to! 👍. Really good work you did here. Looking forward to your next video.
Blaming Hegel seems a bit misguided to me. Hegel is really not an enemy of objective truth and reason. Hegel believes in god, and objective morality, and that the german prussian state he lieves in has the best possible system of government; this is really not a postmodernist. There is a bit of historical relativism in Hegel but it is a quite reasonable amount. With Marx we start the slightly nonsensical bullshit of criticizing the notion of objective morality, while still pushing a very clear moral agenda. But with Marx we still have completely objective truth, and the system isn't overtly self-contradictory. I think only with the Frankfurt school and with Foucault does the real big mental gymnastics begin where you deny the existence of objective truth while constantly proclaiming one objective truth after the other. But I'm not an expert on the Frankfurt school of Foucault.
Moral relativism is just an excuse to be able to do whatever people want without consequences. There’s no such thing as my Truth only lived experience but THE TRUTH.
Absolutely incorrect. Coming from the school of Absurdism, there is no THE TRUTH. The more you delve into the scientific and philosophic nature of the world, the more you realize reality is only an interpretation of waveforms by an organic mass of putrid water and fats. Human "Truth" is no more absolute than the truth of any other holographic perspective experienced by observing beings in this reality.

CRT is so full of philosophic fallacies, and it's supporters seem almost proud of it, that it brings into question the mental soundness of those very same people. You seriously nailed some of the reasons why I'm so against it Kimi. It was also really great to be in the same room as you during the AmericanShade debate in Racelessness. Cheers!
I love the way you substitute “my truth” with “lived experience”. I cringe when I hear “my truth” because there can only be one truth. Just because you believe it doesn’t make it true.

if being without CRT means having freedom of thought and self expression but at the same time mutual respect for all groups of people, what about those who are unaware of racism/the disrespectful actions they do to others? Is someone doing harm if they are not even aware of the harm they are doing? We can't undo racism. It exists. But we can definitely change the way we frame racism. To understand racism though is to understand the history of slavery, colonialism and white supremacy. I think this is where CRT comes into the picture? idk
Your are a very interesting woman. I love how smart and articulate you are, I could never express these ideas in such a concise manner. I can write, but when it comes to speaking, everything comes out all wrong.
Thanks. Everytime I think I'm an outcast because I believe you shouldn't be judged by your skin color, people like you come along and make me realize I'm not the only one. So thanks.
No two people have the same type of life experiences. People are different and live to their own morals. To me the ten commandments are the best moral compass I live by.
People are different and live to their own morals? Nazi vs Jews? Stalinist Communists vs Ukrainian peasants? If everyone has their own moral code, then there is no moral code and anything and everything is moral....from mass murder of children to picnics for the homeless.
I'm talking people, not politics or religious groups, a majority of people follow good moral beliefs. Some groups believe that genocide is a good thing, but some individuals in that group may not agree. In nazi Germany Jews were killed, but individuals in the country helped Jews hide and escape.
I think there is a lot to learn from Critical Race theory about how the social order has been constructed... but I agree with the harm that it causes to reinforce the belief that we are oppressed. I’ve had to unlearn that internalized racism, but I think understanding how power is constructed made that unlearning easier... having to parse out the contradictions. I see the mental gymnastics haha
Your analysis of CRT's roots in moral relativism and how it contradicts the absolutist framework anti-racist scholars have adopted is a major hole in the overall theory that I've never heard any CRT scholar seriously address. I'm so happy I found this channel!

First: CRT, is not and should not be rooted in moral relativism any assertion that it is or should be, confirms two things 1. she does and you do not understand moral relativism, and 2. she does not and you do not understand CRT. Second: CRT does not deal with the anti-racist framework because that framework is concerned mainly with individual racism, CRT focuses on systemic racism. It is like asking a baseball player to also be good in golf, some are, some are not but it does not take away from their primary purpose or talent. Bottom line this person illustrates the saying that - " a little knowledge is dangerous". She needs to dig deeper, not wider, she is a mile wide, but sadly only 1 inch deep.
A problem in search of a solution. Perhaps ask a law professor or graduate school professor (who are the only ones who teach CRT since it concerns how to think about law and not how to think about white people).
As I scroll through the comments, I notice a tread of those who hate this young lady, don't or won't see the issue from her perspective. Maybe its because they want things done their way and only their way. Or maybe they are so closed minded that don't understand where she's coming from. Social media is probably the worst way to discuss a complex issue. Assumptions are made, projections are give, if you are white you are racist comments are made as with the all white people are responsible for the actions that happened in the past. With the attitude of "Only I can dictate reality", (which is all counterproductive in ending racism) has been proven in making things worse. More often than not, I think these people who are like what I mentioned, don't want racism to end. Maybe its about money and power. Who knows. If Critical Race Theory (CRT) is nothing but a history lesson, then where's the problem? Does CRT have talking points that lead to the idea of "White man bad" or "If your black, you will always be oppressed" Is CTR the only way to talk about America's history? Will CTR teach ALL of the facts or just a few that would make white children feel guilty and black children feel oppressed? Also what's the end goal of CRT? Is it end racism and have people get along or is it black supremacy where white people have to walk around feeling guilty. There are many other ways to teach the same history without the principles of CRT. Finally, what's the goal of teaching that history? Is it acknowledgment of bad things happening? Or is it to change the behavior/ ideology, where once again, develop a certain mentality that politically aligns with those who support CRT. I also have to address those who believe that if you are part of BLM or being black means that ONLY YOUR perspectives or your perception of reality matters. The military conducted itself in a similar manner in Iraq and Afghanistan. Guess what. That produced more insurgents. Which made both of those wars last longer. In the end, this conversation isn't about black vs white, as some would want it to be, but rather is CRT needed.

Kimi is right on. MOST people ARE good. MOST people AREN'T racist! I'm white and 61yrs old. I'm getting fed up being called racist. I was raised to believe that skin color means nothing and I raised my kids to believe they same. Now I'm told that it is the opposite. I'll guaranty that this "movement" is a result of 60 years of diminishing racism which has reduced the money and power in any sort of civil rights lobby. Always follow the money and power, you'll get your answer.
You unpack the didactic problem and its hypocrisy, contradictions within CRT and how irs being applied today. The quicksand on which CRT sinks is being made clear here. And is consistent with my personal intro to this topic as expressed by JBPeterson of Toronto. Smart, clear, logical thinking that helps me immensely in my need to express the Truth. Which, btw, will prevail. Thank you!
I am beginning to understand your objections to Critical Race Theory. Thank you for your thoughts on this. I guess that is why there be further discussions for this--I have to gain a better understanding of it to discuss it in depth.
Love your words and etiquette. I tell my wife this same thing all of the time, the more the media draws lines in the sand, the more lines there are in the sand. Its common sense to me that if you preach BLM and CRT, then the problem only perpetuates. People that are racists are just ignorant idiots (on either side). Why can't we just ignore them and move society along? Any good parent can attest to this situation; your child starts pitching a fit and you run right to it to find nothing is really wrong, you leave and the child does it again. What you have done is just taught that child that screaming will gain results. So when the time comes that you see them pitch a fit for no reason again and ignore them, typically they will throw a fit louder, then give up. Why can't the same approach be taken towards racisim? Stop feeding into their hate. Ignore it and let it finally die.

Love this. I think we forget that class is the underlying factor that organizes people. If we don't have underlying race theory as a reliable fallback, which I think is absolutely real and acknowledge but isn't as useful, we could organize better along class lines. But it would make us that more dangerous. 💜

This video reminded me of one of the metaphors Jalal ad-Din Rumi uses in his mathnawi: In a dark room where people can't see anything they try to identify an elephant by only touching it. Eventhough they won't be able to identify the elephant as an elephant, everyone of those people would still have told the truth by describing the parts of the elephant they've touch. Coming from this metaphor the lesson we should take from it is that one person alone can't discover the whole truth so we have to be humble with our claims. While the elephant represents the whole truth the parts we touched while not being able to see anything, are the understandings we have from the truth. The results we came up with don't have to be wrong in any sense but we have to keep in mind that it is in no way complete. That's why staying humble and not claiming the truth while constantly staying in discussions with other people is important if we truly have an interest in knowing more about the truth
One can’t fight fire with fire, one has to fight fire with water. Forgiveness is crucial for healing. Thanks so much! Thanks for the analysis and the extensive reference list in the description. We learned with the holocaust that the human race can rationalize *anything*, and thus must be forever on guard against that.

CRT cannot be 'the voice of justice' because it has no inherent moral framework and therefore, no basis for justice. Profound. Subbed :)
justice for starters would be the true history of WS in America finally being told to EVERYONE. Then stealing
the homes, furniture, personal belongings, land , Crests & Coats of arms of families THEN TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY ASSUMED THE NAMES AND BIRTH RIGHTS OF THE DEAD.

The effects of racism on peoples parents and grandparents need to be thought in order to understand each other. Because we’re all coming in with missing information trying to scold one another and we’re talking past each other. So yeah, we need to fully tell the story, truthfully, of this country.

I hadn’t thought about mixed race children 😞 how awful for them
Ouch that really hits home.

"If we want to make any sort of change, we need to actually start to talk to each other" - and leave racism out of the conversation.

That is called wanting to keep your job! so ridiculous. All of the wonderful Black individuals I work with, are always on time for work!
I have been trying to explain this around my circle and all I see is people are really confused, conveniently confused or just lazy. You been precise concise and keep in it short with enough real references to go back to fact check it’s of great service 🙏🏾
Thank you for your intellectual analysis and offering the background of this concept. As an older white woman raised in a small town in Oklahoma by parents who lived through the Depression and WWII, I grew up with one gauge of people: Are they good folks? 😊
Meaning are they kind, hard working, fair-minded and open to connecting with me? (Indeed-“the content of their character.”)
After moving out through my education and career to connect with many people of different backgrounds, that is still my touchstone.
It heals my heart to hear you. Truly. The ugliness being spewed and the hypocrisy of so many today is so disheartening. But you are a shining light of informed analysis and I hope everyone can hear your words. Multiculturalism and connection is our only hope in this divisive time. Bless you. ❤️💕👏🏼
Hello from Canada. Blessings to you for your human warmth. CRT is cold, cold, cold.
-- Greetings Eric. How are you this morning? I noticed you used the term "CRT" in your post. May I ask you a question?
When you use the term "Critical Race theory" (CRT), do you mean the intellectual movement and loosely organized framework of legal analysis based on the premise that race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed category that is used to oppress and exploit people of colour? Or, do you mean something else?
Thanks.
You're spitting hot fire here. Just thought you should know
Ethos, Pathos and Logos (!)
Great analysis, once again 👏👍.
Really enjoyed your critique of Foucault.
Am always nervous when people who claim to be anti racist site Foucault or other Marxists. Would like to hear more of your thoughts on that.
Called out Hegel to! 👍.
Really good work you did here.
Looking forward to your next video.
The one thing that can be said for leftists, they know Foucault ;)
She used all of the buzzwords while never addressing what CRT is.
@@arontotheleft CRT is anything she doesn't agree with.
You're thinking by yourself and people will be offended.
God bless you and keep you protected ❤️
The Bible does have some true sayings. One of which is "The man of thinking ability is hated." I have to experience this all the time.
Please don't stop! You're better than a bird on my windowsill for brightening my day.
Clearly, you are a deep thinker. I find your logical arguments very compelling and well presented. Keep doing what you are doing.
I am so thankful to see someone who knows how to drop the Mic 🎤 with truth🥰 You rock 🥰❤🙏
The fact that you made a Harry Potter reference in both your CRT videos makes these videos even more awesome!
-- Hi Gabriella. How are you this morning? May I ask you a question?

CRT is so full of philosophic fallacies, and it's supporters seem almost proud of it, that it brings into question the mental soundness of those very same people.
You seriously nailed some of the reasons why I'm so against it Kimi. It was also really great to be in the same room as you during the AmericanShade debate in Racelessness. Cheers!
I came here after watching part 1.
You're awesome Kimi.
I love the way you substitute “my truth” with “lived experience”. I cringe when I hear “my truth” because there can only be one truth. Just because you believe it doesn’t make it true.
You need to do a TED Talk. I love your insights. Listening to young people helps me to keep up with what is going on in our world from your viewpoint. Glad to hear someone with a level head, speaking. May God continue to Bless You!
if being without CRT means having freedom of thought and self expression but at the same time mutual respect for all groups of people, what about those who are unaware of racism/the disrespectful actions they do to others? Is someone doing harm if they are not even aware of the harm they are doing?
We can't undo racism. It exists. But we can definitely change the way we frame racism. To understand racism though is to understand the history of slavery, colonialism and white supremacy. I think this is where CRT comes into the picture? idk
Your are a very interesting woman. I myself have an absolute moral basis, "Do as you would have done to you" Pretty much gets rid of post modernism, Marxism, Nihilism, critical theory (what a crock), etc. I am not religious but the Judeo-Christian frame work followed by the enlightenment , with it's emphasis on individual sovereignty, and individual accountability works for me.
Sending you much Love from South Africa my sista! 🌍 ❤️
Forgiveness - the world needs to hear your message!
"Most people are good people"
Stay strong and keep on moving on.
This thinking is apart of the solution. Thank you for speaking from a place that doesn’t trap and destroy others to bring dignity to others.
When i learned of systematic racism/red lining. I didnt wanna overthrow anything. I just wanna be great and invest into my own community without someone declining me a loan because of my skin and i feel some others see it this way too
Cause you’re docile or not actually black
I love how smart and articulate you are, I could never express these ideas in such a concise manner. I can write, but when it comes to speaking, everything comes out all wrong.
Just so thrilled to run across this channel.
Kimi is an amazing young woman.
Recommended her Channel to my Friend's List.
The more I listen your reasoning, the more I want to give you a huge hug. Have a great day! Virtual hugs from Finland. 🫂❤
Exactly! Cheers from another Finnish fan.
-- Hi Alexandra. How are you this morning? May I ask you a question?
When you use the term "Critical Race theory" (CRT), do you mean the intellectual movement and loosely organized framework of legal analysis based on the premise that race is not a natural, biologically grounded feature of physically distinct subgroups of human beings but a socially constructed category that is used to oppress and exploit people of colour?
You know how to think. That's what 'they' don't want you to do. People like you are the hope of our nation!
So smart and well spoken on this subject. Thank you.
Absolutely nailed it
Commenting for the algorithm and subbed.
A series of mental gymnastics exercises really is the best way to describe being Woke in general.
😱☕🐸
Cognitive dissonance
@wilson alexander for real though.
This was so beautiful…I asked if a coworker was willing to listen to a video about crt…not to persuade her but to let her see where I was getting some of my ideas about…she got emotional and turned conversation from crt to racisms and claiming that she had many black friends…but didn’t want to see a video about black people…like Candace Owens…who were questioning the value of crt…
Wow, a powerful intellect. God bless you.
Wow! You disassemble CRT at a level far above people. Anyone I heard promote it. Thank You for these videos about the subject.
Voldemort: "There is only power, and those too weak to seek it." Well applied!
I guess that is why there be further discussions for this--I have to gain a better understanding of it to discuss it in depth.
god speed
You showed up in my feed somehow. I listened to part one and part two. Thank you for your efforts.
Keep talking. You obviously have a good understanding of these concepts and where they come from. Keep educating others.
Thank you very much for taking time out if your life to talk about actual issues and topics. I really appreciate listening to your life experiences and thoughts with us. I also must add thank you for bring so kind but honest..for some individuals, talking about race is extremely taboo or just a difficult situation. 😊😊🧡💚💙💜🤍🖤🤎
Thank you for pointing out the toxic affect of ''ism''.
Love this. I think we forget that class is the underlying factor that organizes people. If we don't have underlying race theory as a reliable fallback, which I think is absolutely real and acknowledge but isn't as useful, we could organize better along class lines. But it would make us that more dangerous. 💜
Excellent! This was soooo good, pt1 & 2. I'm looking into CRT as my Governor just announced K-12 implementation.
Maybe you could share it with your parents and school board? Part 1 impressed me with its clarity and simplicity. As Kimi says, it is a toxic and divisive theory.
You are so refreshing!! Thanks, sister in Christ!
Loved your video. You are calm, articulate and fair. You bring your points across without aggression which in turn makes people listen more. Awesome meatloaf and car alarm distractions...keeping it real🙏👍
Every one of us are put here for a reason, we all have SOMETHING to contribute ,
i subscribed.
I was very impressed
you are awesome-
I was so impressed by part 1. You are of sound mind and It's clear you know what you are talking about=)
You really nailed it, black and proud, took the words right out of my mouth
One can’t fight fire with fire, one has to fight fire with water. Forgiveness is crucial for healing. Thanks so much! We need to stop being victimized, stop hating others for wrong they did or didn’t do, and start loving and leaving behind past injuries so we can be one out of many, come together in spite of diversity
Thank you so much for saying what more people need to be saying. And thanks for the reading lists! I've read many of the books, but look forward to catching up with some of the additional works on your lists.
This woman is a brilliant angel and I wish I could just hug her
I disagree with you about moral relativism and justice but you presented your viewpoint very well.
Ahh I just love you so much
