sorry for all the questions. just wondering is the head ment to be floppy when u hold them upright?my head just flops down when picked up as nothing heard to stitch onto
Maybe stuffing the neck a little more for stuffiness. Be sure to put the sewing stitches in the middle of the neck too so the stuffing doesn't come out as I show on the video. They are meant to be floppy dolls. 😄
Thanks for the video. But for those of us that are trying to see the work & go along with you, you are going too fast and the color isn't a good one with the back ground. You might want to look at your video after it's done to see how it's not showing up for others to see it.
YW. As mentioned in the video, viewers can control the speed by looking for the 3 dots and select control speed. Click/choose slow. You also can pause the video as you go. I am by far a professional and still a WIP. This is a very repetive pattern. My apologies if you feel I fell short on this video. Your patience is appreciated.
Thank you so much for this video! I've been seeing these dolls posted on Facebook and wanted to make one. I do admit at moments it was hard to follow just cause the red yarn but I was able to follow your direction by voice. Absolutely loved creating this doll! Do you have a Facebook group I can post mine on? I'd love to show him off lol Thanks again!!!
I appreciate that! I have a sub account on FB called crocchetitforward that I post my upcoming tutorials on but I'm not sure if people can post on it. I'm also on Instagram called crochetit4ward. Also a Pinterest account called CrochetItForward. I'm still learning the whole advertising thingy. 😊
My apologies. I am not a professional. This is one of my better videos. I cannot afford a professional camera & record off my tablet. I made every effort to give clear instructions. Your patience is appreciated.
You're welcome. Are you asking how to "fill" around the hands & feet? I show in the video to make sewing stitches in the middle/center when sewing them on to hold the fill in. Does that help?
The red yarn makes it very hard to see the stitches. You need to work on your video technic and take off the bracelets. Their banging on your desk top is very distracting.
I could not upload in HD due to the length of the video, hence the blurry red yarn. I do not have a professional camera nor am I a professional videographer. I am a WIP 😊 in terms of techniques. However the instructions were clear. Noted about the bracelets. Your patience is appreciated.
I have not created a written pattern for this project yet. Shooting for this week. I have to see what all is involved in opening a Ravery & Etsy account. Your patience is appreciated.
vicki jen you could use a panty hose stuffed with washable filling.. that’s better if the doll is for a little child, ‘cause then fibers comming out would be dangerous and the doll is going to be washed several times most likely 😉
I did. However, the doll is your project. You can choose not to stuff both hands & feet just sew them together & on the doll & it would still be cute to me. 😊
Hmmm. I didn't have big gaps in my dolls hands. Perhaps trying a smaller hook as shared in the video. Also when sewing in your ends, you make 2 stitches in the middle as shared in the video.

Try stuffing the head more.

Unfortunately, quite a lot of the time the camera was not aimed on your project so we can't see what you are doing.
My apologies. I am not a professional. This is one of my better videos. I cannot afford a professional camera & record off my tablet. I made every effort to give clear instructions. Your patience is appreciated.
Love it😘😍
Awesome to hear! 😊

You're welcome. Are you asking how to "fill" around the hands & feet? I show in the video to make sewing stitches in the middle/center when sewing them on to hold the fill in. Does that help?
I think she is asking how would you make a FRILL around the Neck Hands & Feet Like a Clown doll
Hi I mean how do u make a frill round the neck like a clown kind thanks xx. What's your next project xx
Muito fofinho
Thank you. 😊

I still can not find the written pattern for this. sorry bad with finding things .. is a little old school I guess you might say

Are you on Facebook?
@@amandamcgeehan5714 I have Facebook yes but not on there right now.
@@judypresler5423 there's a group specifically for these hexi dolls
@@amandamcgeehan5714 thank you. Will have to check it out.
what stops u from seeing some of the fluff through the double crochet on the head.some parts I see more others
What type of yarn are you using? This pattern uses #4 worsted weight yarn. If your using anything thinner than 4 WW yarn you will likely see holes.
vicki jen you could use a panty hose stuffed with washable filling.. that’s better if the doll is for a little child, ‘cause then fibers comming out would be dangerous and the doll is going to be washed several times most likely 😉
did u stuff the feet
I did. However, the doll is your project. You can choose not to stuff both hands & feet just sew them together & on the doll & it would still be cute to me. 😊
i don't like the big gap the dc leaves on the hands ect u can see the fluff inside

2 stitches in the middle?and she used a smaller hook for hands? when I do the decrease of dc it leaves a gap
she used the same hook for hands and body
and im using a 4 smaller then the vid and why use a smaller hook to do the ends
When sewing in your ends make 2 stitches in the middle at the bottom going through both sides. This holds your stuffing in. place.
How many yarn does it require
I made mine from scrap yarn.
Thank you. Way too fast for me though.

You didn’t fall short. I just need to practice more and get up to speed. 🙂. I admire your work. Thank you for sharing and taking the time to reply.
why doesnt anyone make written patterns anymore i cant do things by video
I am working on that.
Way to fast
Try clicking on the 3 dots to control the speed, as directed in the comments of this pattern.
