The Samsung would be the absolute best if it had the iPhone's video quality.
💯 The thing is, I feel like they should be able to do it. I feel like a good chunk of it is software related. There's no reason the S23 Ultra took better photos than the S24 Ultra before the updates. 😅
The video quality is good samsung u can 5 different video u can shoot from the camera setting iphone don't that plus u can shoot 8k video iphone can't shoot 8k video because u only know about iphone
Iphone video at 1080 is still better than s23 ultra 4k video. Samsung preview is not nearly as life like still. Samsung also has a hard time with nature shots when they're alot of green of textures like dark or moss. Makes it look painted almost. That's with the 12mp not 200. But yes if they made the video better which I think they could with software I would be thrilled
You can record 8k videos on the 24s Ultra.
Buy a iPhone then 😂😂
I'm on the fence about which to use the iPhone is boarding but on the other hand once I set the ultra up its icons and the home page.
Both are great. It just depends on the people around you (if that's important) and the other devices you have.

Great review bro! 🙏 about the brightness, both of them were on auto brightness the whole time? Or even when the s24 ultra on extra brightness the iPhone is brighter indoors?
Indoor testing was not on auto. 😊Even with extra brightness on, the iPhone is brighter indoors.
I wouldn't sweat it though, idk why you would need that much brightness indoors. 😅
@@JonImperial thanks for the response and yes I noticed on my 15PM that when i turn off auto brightness indoors it gets much brighter compared to when it’s on even when i slide it to the max. And about outdoors is it a lot brighter on the s24 or it’s more a game of reflections?

the S24 Ultra appears a lot brighter then combined with the anti-reflective coating, you can see what you are looking at WAY better.
Hello please I have a question to ask you do you have the same problem as me with my 15 pro when the launches the screen recording with audio the image leaves before the voice as I make videos tips avk that it’s a problem for me please answer me in addition I changed my 15 pro avk another 15 pro more than 5 times but always the mm problem if you have a solution to that thank you I hear your answer

What case is it near the end of the video?
I use them both. I like the S24 Ultra now that I learned how to use more of it's features. The Iphone is all about simplicity though. Features that I love on the S24 Ultra is the fast charging, customization, call reception and battery life.
Both are great phones it's really just about preference.
S24 ultra is 100% better than any iPhone out there. There's noting that the iPhone does that the s24 ultra just surpasses easily ...
😂Let's be objective now... I believe Samsung can make their cameras WAY better than it is... I think they can get more users if they optimize their cameras.
@JonImperial that's funny cause every iPhone user that I know always walks away cause they 📷 can't hang with my s24 ultra camera, and that iPhone 15 also. There Alot of youtube videos on here that really hype the iPhone, but yet real life use they can't hang, so idk. I believe real life compared to a youtube video.
@@pedrovelezjr5195 No question about how good both cameras are.. But there's no denying that the 50mp and 200mp are disappointing. Idk why Samsung is overprocessing it.
I also read/heard/watched a lot of people who upgraded from the S23U to the S24U feel like the cameras took a step back. The OneUI 6.1 definitely helped, but it should be better than what it's producing at the moment.
@JonImperial idk, but my cameras work fine, and the phone just came out, and only on what 3rd update? It was the samething with the s21,s22,s23, and they all ended up fine and wasn't the s23 ultra phone of the year? Galaxy phones have so much more going for it, and it's so sad that it doesn't get the respect it really deserves, especially here in the states it being a better phone than the iphone

I think the problem is, when people switch and give any phone a shot, they only have 14 days to return it (in the US). If the phone isn't optimized from the get go, it's hard for people to keep the phone and wait for "future promises".
One reason this review came later, was I heard the updates were coming... Prior to the updates the 50mp and 200mp were so bad. SO BAD. Most people would have returned the phone at that point. Idk why Samsung would ship it that way.
Regardless, I absolutely love the S24 Ultra. If they nail the cameras, it's gonna get even better!
If anyone could help. If you sync your files and photos to Onedrive on S24 Ultra, if you were then to backup the phone with smart switch, do you backup the files and photos too even if they are already synced? Thank you.

I don't think you can. I have not been able to.
I saw some people modify the samsung keyboard to be similar to Gboard though.

There is a supposed big camera software update coming in June. If that’s true, I would wait for it.
As it stands, consistency I’ll give to iPhone but the food shots I took from the S24U is just so good!!! Hope that helps😬
Definitely more bang for your buck with the S24 Ultra specificly. I came from the 14 pro max and let me tell you i havent seen battery life like this in a long time. My iphone left me hanging all the time it needed tobe charged 2 time a day. My S24U last a day and a half with hard use.

Here's a tip about galaxy cameras. Set your camera to motion photo, and you'll see a log of what is happening in that "weirdness" process where the photo is .. improved. Often it does give beautiful photos but I like having the option to freeze-frame the more natural shot. My feeling, and this is also true about most other things we regularly use (for me, my art supplies), when we like something we make it work. My favorite clay for sculpting has its objective disadvantages but I don't see any of them that way, I am happy to work around it because of the other factors of how it is the most amazing overall.
I was solely a blackberry user until they stopped being produced; then I became a galaxy devotee. The note came out, and I truly can't fathom a phone that doesn't have the s-pen, even if I only use it (graphics for unique christmas cards and the like - you need that precision) a handful of times a year.
I also just know how to do things on samsungs, things I've discovered even by accident, that I truly have no desire to have to re-learn on another model. Hell this is years of building up ease to get things done that I do most often and only occassionally. It probably is a good reason why handling iphones leaves me frustrated. "I ain't bothering with that."
In sum whatever phone we like, at this point in establishing our experiences, we adapt to. I am sure there are other ways to get around that camera issue that I haven't had occasion to explore because I don't often pay close attention to photos the way that you do. If you like it more overall, though - you guessed it - you'll get it to accomplish something you can accept. Hope that helps..

Can you explain more about the blue bubbles , all my family is apple - iPhone users and I want to send them pictures and don’t want it to lose its quality . Thinking of buying a Samsung s24 ultra , seeing videos ,
Blue Bubbles basically forwards/syncs your iMessages to your Samsung phone. But you need to have a Mac connected to the internet for it to work.
When you turn off that Mac, the connection to your iMessage is lost. It’s more of a “workaround” than a solution.
Sending photos aren’t too bad though especially with QuickShare. Receiving from an iPhone is another thing. However, I saw that if the format is set to “most compatible” then Androids can see the image better.

Like 3 months ago I had an Iphone 12 pro max and I was so happy because I've never had an Iphone, but recently I changed it for a samsung s23 normal version and I noticed that I did great, but I wanna get a phone with great battery and cameras. @@JonImperial Actually I do like both the ecosystem and I understand that both have there own weakness and strength but I am more of a one phone person so I am planning to go for ultra one day 😅 In my honest opinion both phones are great in there own ways. And one more thing when it comes to boh phones if one can buy the same company products and build a ecosystem of it then it can both work better in my opinion. Hi, I'm from India, Which phone offer is worth buying, I'm confused between two options with different conditions. I have an offer for Samsung S24 Ultra (256gb) with Employee offer cost around 95k, whereas other option is for buying Apple iPhone 15pro (128gb) UAE variant around 85k.
one thing thats amazing about iphone 15 pro max is almost any app i use it stay cold temps and battery optimization is incredible thats no1 reason keeping iphone other than that samsung galaxy better any aspect

Coming from s22 ultra exynos I can definitely say it's a upgrade.
The battery is much better and just feels more refined.
I got a good deal with contract so very happy with phone.
#teamgalaxy all the way 😂 But seriously, the customizations and multi-tasking are my reasons to keep on using Samsung/Android. I DO use the S-Pen quite a lot, both as the stylus and the Bluetooth features, but I also love being able to add custom S-Pen removal and insertion sounds using Pentastic and Zedge. I have the sound set to the Star Wars light saber, so I feel like a Jedi whenever I pull out the S-Pen and reinsert it. 😂 It would be awesome if they had a light-up S-Pen. Would add even more dramatic effect.

I have the 15PM and the S24+. iPhone is a great phone, does everything great! However it's terribly boring. I'm finding i enjoy my Samsung because it's just a little smaller and definitely noticeably lighter. The S24+ does everything the iphone does, i don't have apps and widgets covering my wallpaper on the home screen and android auto with Google maps is waaay better for navigation. The animations are slower in the iPhone, scrolling as well. But both are great phones.
What made you get the S24 Ultra? Did you always have 2 phones?
@@JonImperial I have the s24+. I've had the 23 ultra, but traded it for the newer and smaller ultra. I actually have 4 phones. The other 2 are pixel 8 pro and an s22 ultra. They're all fantastic. They all have their good and bad points. None are perfect.

You can tell when it really is objective, and some of us understand the beloved iphone following but if this is about the best options across the board. The s24 ultra is unfair for the millions who can manage it, 50mp shots are preferred coming out of my unit and 200mp shots just got a recent update where it provides more exposure but still not ideal for low light. There's just no excuse not to get the best photo with this phone without any hassle at all, and the video looks better. The masses will not admit it but on average the photos smoke everything with realistic usage and not just this auto snap bonanza going on here on RUclips and for video on average the s24 has stole the show so much that log is a thing. Samsung shouldn't have to over think anything and ruin the ultra, it's ahead by a long way maybe a galaxy considering the reality of acquiring what they've built.

Recently bought the s24u to replace my 15 pro. Need to decide this week if I keep it or return it. I think the phone is amazing and better than the iPhone in almost every way apart from the cameras. Like a lot of people have said, one of my issues is I love the Apple Watch Ultra and wish it would work with my ultra. Any ideas for a good watch so I can switch to Samsung for good? Will keep my iPhone for work. I honestly think this is the phone that can pull me away from the apple eco system after over 10 years! Great review btw!
I wasn't too pleased with the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. I hope the next version is better! I am interested in testing the watch from Withthings. I saw it at CES. Looks cool.

It’s so damn hard to break away from it but luckily in the UK iMessage isn’t that big of a deal as everyone uses WhatsApp. It’ll happen eventually! If they can nail the cameras then they have the perfect phone with the S24U 🙏

Went from a iPhone 13 mini to the S24 Ultra…..major change!
S24 ultra is the phone you want everything from a SMART phone but i am still not happy with the camera output of Samsungs. It's still behind apple. Apples photos may not be the Sharpest but well balanced to eyes and pleasant for moments to be captured. The day when apples camera get beaten by other brand that day will be legendary.

im on the iphone 14 pro and honestly im very very bored of the apple ecosystem. its the same thing year after year and they only seem to care on upgrading the cameras. i dont use the cameras often at all so to me the iphone has been the same phone for the past 5 years. Im stuck between the pixel 8 pro because i want a google ecosystem but the samsung eco system just looks amazing as well.

It depends on what type of work you are trying to do. I think the S24 Ultra allows you to do so much more with multi-tasking, floating windows , s-pen (if it applies to your work) and DEX.
I’m sure there are a ton of videos to learn more about it. 😊

I wasn’t having a go at you. I am changing from iPhone to an Android as I think Apple takes its users for granted and implement things too slowly, making the iPhone boring. I will keep my IPad and Apple TV, but in the UK we don’t rely on iMessage, I suppose I can’t see the fuss.

2- No 65 watts ( fastest charging )
3- No battery increase ( 5500 mah to 6000 mah )

Left Samsung in October for the 15 pro max. Not a single regret, I’ll gladly stay because not once in the almost 15 years I spent with android/samsung have I ever had a mobile phone experience this good 🤣 it’s so nice to have a phone I don’t have to charge every single day multiple times a day. I’m currently ending my second day with my last charge being Sunday night and I still have 29% lmao I don’t need the gimmicky zoom and all the other stuff android bogs done their phones with. I actually do have one regret and it’s that I didn’t switch sooner.
We can enjoy and use whatever we want. That’s the beauty of tech. 😊

@@JonImperial mainly my ongoing disappointment with Samsung, I was with them since 2009 and always had their flag ship phones only to be let down in one way or another. I used to hate Apple without ever even trying them out but I started to get really curious around the time the 13 pro max came out. I waited though and continued to give Samsung chance but the last straw was the S22 ultra. The only thing I liked about that phone was the cameras, everything else was awful ESPECIALLY the battery life. I could barely get 4 hours of screen time…then I heard the 15 series would have USBC and that was it, I preordered as soon as they started taking orders. Couldn’t be happier
