ITs really cool to see a track athlete talking about peaking, being an athlete requires such intense training planning and so many high school coaches don't understand these vital components of the athlete
Everyone becomes a coach these days, without actually educating themselves. Whenever I played a sport at school I never improved because of the coaching I received. I improved myself by just playing. It speaks volumes of the level of coaching I had; pathetic!
Had I had better one on one coaching and workout planning I would have performed so much better in high school. I never lifted, never did any strengthening drills and I still was able to perform well. I wonder how I would have performed with weightlifting, plyometrics and more one on one coaching. Unfortunately, since my team was so large and coaches so few that was not possible.
@@Ytremz If you compare her to an average joe then it's gonna be like that. But when you compare her with atheletes, many male footballers can run faster than her. So no competition with male sprinters.
I loved sprinting when i was younger as i was quite fast. But the thing i dont miss is the end of a race where you feel like your gonna die from a heart attack.
BroToPro yeah but i mean on 100m you can give 100% (unless you are weak). 200m is too hard for doing 100% constantly. (100% is the fastest speed you can run, on 100m you can do that untill the end of the 100m, on 200m you'll get slower)
I think the concept is a bit strange. I remember a physio telling me the same thing about that kinetic tape, that it was to remind her that she was injured??! I was thinking, "what?? I thought it was to strengthen the joint, like it says on their website". Interesting idea.
Chaitan Reddy you realize you’re talking about 2 completely different things... most olympians were already masters of their sports by age 10-12 and they compete starting at 16 and if you’re not elite by that age you have no chance. Of course there are exceptions and every sport is different. So it’s completely unfair to say that cross fitters aren’t as good as olympians... you’re comparing kids that trained before they started walking to people that started taking training seriously only as adults.
this is an obvious notion as not getting injured is the most important thing (as it will stall training and progress will suffer). As you get older you obviously will be more prone to injury as well and warming up helps this.
I have been in love with Natasha for a few years now. As an athlete and someone who wants to get the most out of their body. And yeah, she's a beautiful and gorgeous woman too.
*The will of wanting to succeed tolerates a lot of hard boring work and pain just so you can come out as the victorious.* *Remind yourself why you want it.*
Kelly Saha Hehe, true. But I feel like she didn't give it all, or at least it didn't look like it. She looked like she could have ran the same distance right after she was done.
Eirik Kristiansen yeah your probably right but I'm guessing she think she did and she had fun doing it, the whole time I can see both of those girls becoming good friends
So they send a model who doesn't know how to run to train with one of the best runner in the world - and she doesn't even get corrected / taught the basics other than striking the forefoot into the ground?!! Natasha was fantastic and expected no less, the fitness model performance was extremely sad, not in her result but in her preparation before doing this shoot, she didn't look the part at all on the track
Thomas DeMay it really ought to be how every athlete goes about training. Anything less is a doing a huge disservice to their chosen sport. And their own lives.
This is like looking an F1 car compete against a Volkswagen Beetle. The Beetle looks good, but the F1 car isn't about looks, it's about pure performance.
Depending on which errors you have in your form or what your relative strengths and weaknesses are, different cues are going to be helpful to you. In both cases you're trying to reach the same goal-the ideal stride will look the same-but you may need to keep different things in mind to get there: if your problem is you're pounding the ground but not getting a lot of forward momentum, what you heard would be useful, but if you need to be more forceful, Natasha's cue will be more helpful for fixing your specific stride issues.
Fuath Even for zoological studies, it's the same; animal running speeds depend a lot more on stride length than frequency. And, stride length depends on time in the air more than simply limb length. So, it all comes down to power (which creates the propulsion for the "time in the air"). *POWER*
J Andrews You drive into the ground at an angle...powerfully. The coaching cue of telling the athlete to run "across" the ground is used to remind them to be striking with the foot in an arcing motion (on the ball of the foot). Natasha has ideal technique ("form") & the cue she is focusing on is for neural drive, to get her brain to tell the legs and glutes to contract violently at just the right time.
So.. a nearly middle aged lady that can best be described as ''not fat'' from an athletic perspective, competes with a world class olympian in their prime? ...
No offense to Susana but i think she should be in better shape if she's a "Fitness RUclipsr" Her upper body is lackluster and even her legs don't make up for that.
She look at how they both ran. One was looking like she was trying to force the track to submit with every step. The other? She looked like she just floated along the top. Efficiency. But I could be wrong. It's just what it felt like he meant.
Watch season 2 now on the Olympic Channel! bit.ly/2GuxUvm

Wish my high school coach saw this comment. But all he cared about was Penn Relays
No Role Modelz lol same with mine

youre in highschool and a teenager youre peeking all years get out of here with that and go run lmao
"I hear you're fast"
"Well i have like 10 gold medals so... yeh"
@Firsthgyhgyhuy Lastujhujhuj Faster than you, without question.
@Firsthgyhgyhuy Lastujhujhuj Faster than you, without a question as the comment above yours said.
@@Ytremz If you compare her to an average joe then it's gonna be like that. But when you compare her with atheletes, many male footballers can run faster than her. So no competition with male sprinters.
And still slower then high school boys.
When they face each other you can see the difference between an instagram model (or "coaches" lol) and a functional athlete, the way the body is built
Wow I love watching the Olympians run. Natasha runs so beautifully, it looks like she's flying! Amazing.
Natasha Hastings is GORGEOUS
They are both as pretty as humanly possible.
That sentence was what I was going to comment a second ago 🥰
She got an amazing physique.
If you are into men
Jaza, women can’t have muscles too?
I loved sprinting when i was younger as i was quite fast. But the thing i dont miss is the end of a race where you feel like your gonna die from a heart attack.
BroToPro you mean 200m to 400m sprints? cause 100m shouldnt make your heart race like crazy
In my meet Monday there was a guy huffing and puffing 10 meters into the 55m dash
BroToPro same. It's because of the stress made up from the pressure you put on yourself to come first place.
BroToPro yeah but i mean on 100m you can give 100% (unless you are weak). 200m is too hard for doing 100% constantly. (100% is the fastest speed you can run, on 100m you can do that untill the end of the 100m, on 200m you'll get slower)
Alisa A what?? Youre unable to get to your fastest speed within 100 m ? Thats weird, except if you do it on purpose..
Natasha seems really intelligent, most athletes don't learn the why behind what they are doing. But I guess this is why she's got 10 gold medals!
A gymnasts workout would be cool but the person trying to do it probably wouldn't be able to do anything
This deserves more views!!
Wittle Waltz Came out about 4 days ago...
that taping of the foot so she has a que to use the ball of her foot to the ground is genius I've never seen that before
nam nguyen Really that is every track coaches thing for sprinter and heel strikers
I think the concept is a bit strange. I remember a physio telling me the same thing about that kinetic tape, that it was to remind her that she was injured??! I was thinking, "what?? I thought it was to strengthen the joint, like it says on their website". Interesting idea.
Natasha Hastings always looking fit and beautiful.
Next up: crossfitters try real olympic training!
Chaitanya Reddy
Yep; one example is Froning can snatch HALF what Klokov can. *HALF*! Lol.
neosapiens klokov i lift because i lift
neosapiens I agree. That's partially also because Kocklove is probably taking double the juice Froto is on.
Roman Macias but mostly because klokov is insane genetically
Chaitan Reddy you realize you’re talking about 2 completely different things... most olympians were already masters of their sports by age 10-12 and they compete starting at 16 and if you’re not elite by that age you have no chance. Please do more of these!
i used to want to do track, and now i do cycling XD, but this vid is still inspiring
Oh my gosh. The part when she started the run in the intro. She was faster than a car.
This is awesome haha so much credit to the youtuber who attempted an olympian's workout xD
the differences in their bodies are amazing!!!
I love the attention to detail with this as an ex track n field guy... Thing of beauty TBH and her running form is awesome.
Natasha is amazing! honestly didn't know who she's ( forgive me), but now i'm a huge fan!
Oh, it´s like that other fencing video.. Excelent!
Love these vids. Please do more.
I want to see more of these. Susana and Brandon are both very game and entertaining.
That´s very cool!
I like the way they look when they are face to face.
Very interesting idea of warming up takes longer than actual work out
I mean i think in all elite athletic clubs they do that (from my experience the warmups were always longer than the workouts)
this is an obvious notion as not getting injured is the most important thing (as it will stall training and progress will suffer). As you get older you obviously will be more prone to injury as well and warming up helps this.
well yeah because her "workout" is just sprinting so theres no way shes gonna sprint for an hour
Matthew Smith actually at practice for me we do sprinting for just about an hour🤷🏾♀️
I have been in love with Natasha for a few years now. As an athlete and someone who wants to get the most out of their body.
And yeah, she's a beautiful and gorgeous woman too.
These videos are awesome
God I love this woman!! She is so strong and buff I love it!!!
as a runner i love this
Saw the way that youtuber ran😱😱😱😱😱😱
"I didn't know we have to run"
Hahaha :D
Ow-stin,Texas....That is so Adorable!!!
*The will of wanting to succeed tolerates a lot of hard boring work and pain just so you can come out as the victorious.*
*Remind yourself why you want it.*
2:57 Cameraman realizes there's a problem with the "footage where the camera follows her closely from behind" idea.
Hahaha! Yes they realized soon enough
She is a BEAST!
Grest, great video 💯👊💖
God it must be so hard to train for track with a camera in your face
Please do Freestyle/Greco Roman wrestling
Vamos Susana Run!!!
This is really good workout motivation
she has a really good form
3:10 Michael Rodgers!!!
5:42 "Whatever you put into the ground, the ground will give you back." ~Natasha Hastings, ferociously demure.
Natasha Hastings is so cool!! He's like a black panther.
What is the name of the music starting at 2:48?
The beauty of black melanin excellence
Adelante Susana! 😎
She only tried sprinting the first 50 meters, and the rest was jogging. I just don't think that she gave 100 percent.
Eirik Kristiansen nah she just not athletic
Kelly Saha Hehe, true. But I feel like she didn't give it all, or at least it didn't look like it. She looked like she could have ran the same distance right after she was done.
Eirik Kristiansen yeah your probably right but I'm guessing she think she did and she had fun doing it, the whole time I can see both of those girls becoming good friends
Eirik Kristiansen I did track in hs and the workouts are harder than it looks especially if you aren't in shape
She probably didn't want to puke on camera so she played it safe.
This is amazing
Incredible!
workout is interesting theme

Hastings has a enlightened view of working out. not surprising from Gold Medalist in Athletics
Thomas DeMay it really ought to be how every athlete goes about training.

This is like looking an F1 car compete against a Volkswagen Beetle. The Beetle looks good, but the F1 car isn't about looks, it's about pure performance.
Yeah....the F1 car is better looking then the beetle too.....I hear you.
But the F1 is gorgeous...
zabaleta well different taste, i would prefer the spain girl.
Susana la mejor!! :D
Muchas graciasss Valeria. Cuenta conmigo para lo que necesites. Un beso 😚💕
Way to go!!!
Que atleta tan bella..
Natasha's very cool
What a experience Susana...Lucky
Is that the girl off buzzfeed? Looks and sounds just like her.
Wow so strong.
BEAUTIFUL
I don’t want to mess with Natasha Hastings. She has to be at least 5’10.
do one with wrestling
Can you please compete a RUclipsr with a rower? :D
After watching the warmups now I know how I blew my Achilles doing wind sprints, I didn’t warmup long enough.
Natasha Hastings is gorgeous
natasha's arm muscles........ I'm weak
vid's title should be more clickbaity or something
When does she do the weights
Black genetics = Best genetics ever, don't doubt about it.
That stride! OMG vs hers lol
Natasha Hastings
Anybody knows that song beginning at 2:50?
did you find out which Song it is? :(
Supersasukefan no sorry this song is everwhere but not even shazam knows how this song is called but if i find it out i will Tell you bro
I would like to take the part in sometging like this tho
hmm no subtitles?
Man i wish i was young again
Natasha is gorgeous!
I heard from an Olympic sprinter that you should try to run across the ground not into it. But Natasha says to push into the ground
J Andrews different methods maybe?
Depending on which errors you have in your form or what your relative strengths and weaknesses are, different cues are going to be helpful to you. Both women are impressive lol. The olympian is ridiiiculous though. They're also both very pretty. Cool channel.
Natasha is a goddess.
fitness youtubers must stop talking about fitness ... very poor compared to olympians
Sief Massoud her running form was a joke.
I hope that was a joke...
@O D 😂
My best mark on 100 m is 11.9 sg
So.. a nearly middle aged lady that can best be described as ''not fat'' from an athletic perspective, competes with a world class olympian in their prime? ...
@O D well said.
I don't think you'd call this "competing".. more like just working out together
5:35 that's not a sprint, by any definition. If she's really a fitness youtuber how is she so out if shape?
"Hip flexor stretch"?? In a movement where hip flexes? :D
ja p
Yeah that was *WRONG*.
WOOOOW
5:09,Why the f would someone put that music.Reminds me of a website
I've a rush of blood to my head too ;)
Retired Chand Evil []_; [{}] []_; 😂😂
Retired Chand Evil lol
Retired Chand Evil easy tiger.
love you susyyyyyyyy
This is like taking a thoroughbred and putting them against a well trained philly. No changing genetics and hard training can only go so far.
No offense to Susana but i think she should be in better shape if she's a "Fitness RUclipsr"
Her upper body is lackluster and even her legs don't make up for that.
Thats why she is called a fitness-youtuber. She is not a real athlete or expert in any sport. Her main thing is making videos for youtube.
hi susana, It's very good
Thank youuuu Yesenia. I really enjoyed the experience and Natasha is pretty amazing. I'm glad you like it. Kissesss from Spain 😘
Susana Yábar
Eres muy pero muy bella y amigable. 😀
Spain seems nice. 🤯
The beginning XDDDD I hear youre fast
öhm jeah i won 10 gold medals so jeah... XDDDDDDDDD
"don't fight the track, it's undefeated."
what does that mean?
She look at how they both ran. One was looking like she was trying to force the track to submit with every step.
The other? She looked like she just floated along the top. Efficiency.
But I could be wrong. It's just what it felt like he meant.
Susana doesn't know how to lean from the ankles..that technique makes A LOT of difference..
She is so muscular :0
Susana This is a really bad idea for you standing next to Natasha
