    This is very common in people who have a scoliosis. The predominant form of scoliosis is a reverse S shape curve also called a thoracic dextro scoliosis with a lumbar levo scoliosis. As the thorax or upper back rotates to the right it forms a ‘rib hump’. Our shoulder then slides, relatively, forward compared to the ribs, and this is what causes the shoulder blade or scapular winging.To help correct that we need a 3 pronged approach.
    1. Strengthen the intra scapular muscles like the rhomboids and the mid/lower traps.
    2. Stretch the front of the shoulder.
    3. Start to derogate the ribs - with scoliosis specific exercises.
