Part of me wishes Naughty Dog could get the rights to Crash back so they can remaster the original trilogy. These games looked and sounded incredible even on PS1 (I'd say 2 and 3 actually looked better than some early PS2 games), so imagine how AMAZING they'd be on current-gen technology...
Look up Crash Bandicoot Remastered. They're remaking the entire original trilogy for PS4. Granted, Naughty Dog isn't behind the helm, but rather Vicarious Visions. However, to their credit, VV's past Crash games have been the most faithful to Naughty Dog's as one can find, so I'm confident that the remakes are in good hands.
Also keep in mind the majority of people behind the original Crash games have long left ND anyway. VV actually weren't against hiring some of them to help with Crash Nitro Kart, hopefully the same could occur here.
@CrystalFissure Yes, this is how the track originally sounded like (when it was first composed by Josh Mancell) but the quality had to be lowered down a bit to fit the PS1 requirements.
Is It weird to say that when Cortex screams "NOOOOOOOO! You have seen the last of me, CRASH BANDICOOT!" I can picture Lex Luthor saying that, I mean both him and Cortex were voiced by Clancy Brown, but still.
+Mauricio Garcia Brown uses a raspier voice for Krabz, so I don't picture him saying it. Uka in wrath of Cortex is basically Clancy with his Krabz voice, so you could swap their dialogue and it wouldn't be different in tone.
@@mauriciogarcia4795 He also plays Uka Uka, using something closer to his Krabs voice. "SpongeBob, me boy! You must have a Boss Key to open this door!"
Favorite rendition of the theme. The little 007 nods here and there just cement it's awesomeness for me, and it just sounds the most 'exotic' in my opinion. Still, I love the original (Crash 1 rendition) as well.
@DarkEviscerator Excellent work. It's interesting to note that the devs of the original Crash Bandicoot seem very keen to get more info out on there games, as Mancell gave you these copies, and Andy Gavin talked about how the games were made, etc. Let's hope for more stuff like this in the future!
This was incredible! If they ever remake this game, this HAS to be used! I would've enjoyed this much more if I didn't get an electric shock from my headphone halfway through.
This one sounds pretty cool, too, along with the Jet-Pack one. I love how clear these original mixes are in comparison to their Playstation counterparts. Whilst I do still like a lot of the recent tunes, too, I do miss character themes such as Cortex's. I loved how this theme was remixed in Crash 2 and even further in WARPED.
+DVJFan In it's defence it took me ages to finally catch him when I first played it. And that creepy laugh when you fail.... Still he had a freakin' gun in his hand, he could have at made some offence. :P
H.gamer OLDCHANNEL Part of it was because I thought I didn't get how to beat him at first. I thought it was a race course. Even after though, the asteroids were a hinderance.
H.gamer OLDCHANNEL I did this a lot. Crash 2 gives me bitter memories because I completed it thinking it worked on Crash 1 rules (didn't master the slide jump until 3, and thought all the boxes had to be retrieved in one life, you can imagine the frustration afterwards). :P
@sylvielmna i know its been 2 years, and i love your piano work, but i remember the cowbell from playing this as a kid (i have really good hearing and thats why i can play piano so good)
I want a whole album collection of all the naughty dog crash bandicoot soundtracks. ORIGINAL soundtracks not the compressed ps1 soundtracks. Even though they are still great, imagine how much better it would be with the originals
come on guys... the oddworld came on the ps4 from ps1 remastered.. why can't they just make a remastered edition? it's like 2 months job.. it is pretty easy since they have the game ready
+Αvatar Aang Well the 20th anniversary of crash is next year, So i'm hoping for a re-release of the crash series or a new game. This was hinted at in that ps4 launch trailer with a street sign in the background that has crash on it with a garbage can under the sign.
i never heard this because the boss fight was over in 3 seconds
Doogle XD true.
:)
NO NO NO CRASH

Check out Iohweo for that. He remastered music from Crash 1 and 2. They're really good.
And lookie there! Ask, and ye shall god-damn RECEIVE!
Thank you, video gaming gods!

This plays when Cortex is talking to you via Hologram in the warp room.
"Nooooo!!! You haven't seen the last of me, Crash Bandicoot!!"
These 2 themes sound like they would be used if they revised the 3 crash games for 2013 in goo quality, I miss crash!
You are a prophet!
@@DrRank oh shit
@@SuperUnknownPerson I JUST 100% CRASH 2 A FEW DAYS AGO
No no no no Crash. I said bring me the crystals! Now, get back in there.

The First Crash Bandicoot Game In The Crash Bandicoot Series To Have Clancy Brown As Dr.Neo Cortex And Nice Boss Music Song Too.

U could also picture Mr. Krabs saying that. Brown also voices him.
+Mauricio Garcia

That sounds like John Cena's Theme song (1:05 - 1:10)

this ost will never be beaten
this trilogy will never be beaten
im proud to say that crash2 is the first game i ever played
Wow! I never noticed, Crash Bandicoot songs had double bass drumming in it. Makes it even more epic! :D
I Agree with you guys, The Originals are awesome!
holy crap when they did the guitar bit from crash 1 cortex theme i realised how much more different and awesome this one is
ah ah ah ah
ah ah ah ah
ah ah ah ah ah oaahhhhhh!
Woh!
Cortex's evil laugh if he escapes on the final level is amazing. I'm tempted every time to just let him fly by.
This actually does play in the game. When the hologram of Cortex is talking to you, If you listen closely this is playing in the background.
One of my all time favourite games !
I noticed it too. If you have stereo speakers, you can hear it on the right at various points of song.
Why oh why was the final boss fight of this amazing game so easy to beat I’ll never know....
I love the video, but I'm more concerned about how you remember your username.
This was incredible! If they ever remake this game, this HAS to be used!

well they didnt :(
and yes i come 9 years later

This game had a final boss? Really. I thought it was just a boring ass mini game with some nice music

ToonReel001 what!?!? I beat that boss in less than 10 seconds on the first try

Most of the room on the game was used for graphics, so they had to lower the sound quality in order to fit the music in.
Wow that sounds awesome, nice extra-midi sound.
@Marquiell That made me flip out when I was a little kid. I always ran into the bathroom and covered my ears when he was gonna say that LOL
Yup. I looked it up a few days ago. Crash Bandicoot first came out August 1996. So it was after Pokemon.
Love this!
@sylvielmna i know its been 2 years, and i love your piano work, but i remember the cowbell from playing this as a kid (i have really good hearing and thats why i can play piano so good)
This is only the original I don't see to much difference apart from more bass but even the smallest differences can make a song so much better!
I want a whole album collection of all the naughty dog crash bandicoot soundtracks. ORIGINAL soundtracks not the compressed ps1 soundtracks. Even though they are still great, imagine how much better it would be with the originals
Listen beneath the main swath of sound (some headphones and HQ is essentiall)
It is prominent from 0:13 - 0:25, can you hear it now?
Pretty close to how it is now!
now in whar way?
Love the tune at 0:38
@sylvielmna I heard cowbell without both of those, but it's easier to hear with headphones.
I personally think this one is SOO much cooler than the original.
When I was a kid, I mimicked his voice while saying that at the same time I defeated him xD
I'm glad they changed it
I may or may not have written lyrics for this.
N. Brio had a secret theme as well. Listen very closely, and you'll hear what sounds like N. Brio's boss fight from Crash 1. I shit you not.
I didn't know there was cow bell in this!
So epic OMGGG
0:24 pure evil theme
NOOOOOOOO! You haven't seen the last of me, Crash Bandicoot!
Me encanta

1:05-1:11 Love the bass
Actually... that's because the composers wanted to retain part of the original track for the sequel. It's a remix. ; )
@TheSpriternumbertwo FAIL. I meant the version in the game, LOL
you have a good ear!
What do you mean by "Original"? Is this slightly different from the PS1 versions?
@Denthedragon That's true.
The tone of it Kinda sounds like n brios theme
I never understood why these weren't used in the playstation versions
It kind sounds like something on Mario paint

@watashifan it was? Pokemon the GBA games, or the Pokemon franchise?
