This theme man. I noticed something for me that made it even better. Crash 1 version was slow and darker. Crash 2 version was faster and expressed urgency. But Crash 3 combines them both with it's own twist and just the theme itself tells that you have reached the end of an amazing trilogy of games that made platformer history
This theme really does fit like a grand finale boss fight for a trilogy of games, combining elements of Cortex’s Crash 1 and 2 themes. It’s also the hardest of the 3 Cortex fights by far.

This is my favorite final boss theme along with doomsday zone from sonic 3 and the ultimate show from super paper Mario
