Game developers don’t ever have a build up of a villain with their music evolving with them as the games pass. Seriously one of the coolest parts of Crash was seeing Cortex and his next Boss Battle.
It actually is. Those two notes don't exist in the original song, since they're the bridge to the next section after the guitar part, which was cut off from the Crash 3 version of the song. So here they sound out of place since the song suddenly has these two xylophone sounding notes that sound like they're creating a bridge to the next section, only for the song to reach the loop instead.

Lacking the slick and heavy bassline from the original version. Don't mind all the extra layers but it does get a little "messy" at times. Feels like they're forcing it to be too "epic". Original way better in my opinion.

This is definitely the peak of the trilogy. This version is perfect and it definitely feels like the final battle of an epic trilogy.
If you look back at the trilogy’s final battles, the song has just been building up and building up to this epicness.
