I don't believe it was a matter of "tricking" the defendant whatsoever.. more so getting the defendant to acknowledge what sentence is appropriate for such acts in the first place.. The defendant, being so smug and confident that he had beaten the case, answered honestly (for once).. and the judge merely used what the defendant had said to bolster the sentence which had already been decided upon.

nah It’s hard not to sympathize when she’s not the one that shot him, not that she doesn’t deserve her sentence, but we’ve all made terrible decisions, you don’t know her story, things don’t just happen, she probably got influenced by this guy to do what she did, or maybe not we don’t know, but most people aren’t inherently bad, just a series of poor choices that can easily lead to something terrible like that

Yeah I mean carjacking is something pretty awful and you should be punished for doing it but man 11 to 20 years of your life wasted away that you're never going to get back ? That's harsh... many people who abused or raped their victims don't even go to prison for one day... what a world we live in.

@@misterfau985 Yeah I just don't get it. Even in this video, the second case about that dude Franklin Williams, who commited shit like armed robberies and was sentenced to 33 years, while the last case about the serial killer Anthony Kirkland, the video says that he previously served 16 years for the murder of his ex-girlfriend, like what the fuck is this? In fact he killed 4 other women when he was released. That's just stupid. A first-degree murder should be considered so much worse than an armed robbery, they aren't even in the same categories.

If I remember correctly, Him and his lady were 1st cousins and both drug addicts. Meth I think was their drug of choice. He had a history of violence and criminal behavior.
As well as sent a text to a friend that he was tweaking hard the night that the babe was killed. He might have not been in his right mind but it’s still not an excuse.
Not to mention his child was found buried in his Nike bag with his clothing and he had apparently been searching in the forest for her as he believed her to be there but couldn’t explain why to cops. (The police had not initially thought to search the forest until this).
Then ran when her body was discover.
Again the guy was probably drugged up out of his mind when it happened but Dude definitely did it.
Edit : Caliyah Mcnabb is the case and name of the little girl killed.

Jacob Morgan was a really sad case. You reported it wrong. He should've been treated as a boy who lost his little brother. Dont know how it exactly went but you can look it up. But punishment after such a loss and feel responsible was a horrible thing to do. He was and autistic brother that lost his little brother, nothing more. Heartbreaking. 7 years taken from him and his family that should have been to heal together
