Thank you! It was still warm from the heat press and my daughter wanted to take it immediately lol. Good luck with your puff! Make sure you test before you Do a full project!
I wonder if you have an update on the red puff and came to the right temp or technique to have it rise more or was that the final result awaome video and thanks for showing so much detailed info the hight angle the temps time advice
Great video. Easy to follow. I noticed that you only hit the metallic puff with heat once. I have seen others that said it doesn’t really puff like it should until you heat it a second time. Maybe if you do that, the red will puff up more.
@@jstewartslaboratory Again, thank you for looking out for us, and for taking the mistakes out of the equation before we make them. We just need to follow your example. 🙏🏽
I did a test with different colors at different temps with Atlanta Vinyl Siser red, as I've had issues with puff. I have a base, pressing on t-shirts, need to do the same on a hoodie. Love the hoodie you made. 😊
WOW!! Excellent comparison!!! I've been using the Siser Puff and it comes out perfect. Completely smooth. I love the WALAKut Puff and may try them next according to your video. Thank you very much for sharing this. It's really helpful!!
@shaquillajones1384 I use a Teflon sheet and prepress for 2-3 seconds. Then Press with high pressure at 280° for 10 to 15 seconds. If it's not puffed enough, you can press again for a few more seconds. Let me know how it goes.
I just came across your channel. I love your experiment with all of the temps. I have seen some videos using the specialty Materials puff and they all say that the white should be pressed at 275 for 10 seconds with medium even pressure. 🤷♀️. You have inspired me to give puff htv a try. ❤
Great Review. I've tried Sisers Gold and silver Metallic puff and Walakut Red Metallic puff. As excited as I was about that red puff I was disappointed. I had to cut my design twice as the vinyl roll is only 10 inches.😮
What kind of hoodie did you use? What’s the material? I’ve had success with Siser Puff with 100% cotton at 305 for 8 seconds and then 2 seconds once I peel the carrier. But I was wondering for hoodies of mixed material.
Your determination to get this project right and learning the actual temperatures are second to none great work.
Thank you!
I used Amazon puff and Atlanta Vinyl puff. I love Atlanta Vinyl 3d puff.
I keep hearing about the Atlanta Vinyl. I’m going to have to try that brand next!
