Spontaneous burst of laughter when you illustrate the beauty of the clean look of the spoilerless 928. Made my day…and definitely the truth! You have good taste of humor todd.
Just got back to Oz and I have to say the weather in UK great over the last 3 weeks, even for an Aussie! UK looks beautiful this time of the year in the sun. Thanks for sharing another great video.
Ah, as many pubs as possible to find decent ‘real ale with local friends! lol trip included London, Dorchester, Padstow, Bakewell, Hull, Edinburgh, Inverness, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin and Galway! Mega trip, lots of laughs!
My restomod idea for the boot is to have a solar top (instead of the fabric cover) that folds out of the way and also trickle-charges a second battery or some shit.
Have I missed the vid that revealed the colour you're going to paint it? Black and white pasha works with a lot of different things. A funky metallic would be great, though a difficult first spray job.
It may look cleaner, but Porsche put those spoilers there for a reason. If you aren't ever going to drive over 70 mph it probably doesn't matter. But it you do you'll want the (factory, not those hilariously crazy ones) spoiler.
Hey Jack. Thanks for the comment. The spoilers I removed were actually factory(Porsche) spoilers fitted to the S model from 1980- . You are right, they help with aerodynamics, but my car left the factory with no spoilers.
Nice progress Todd... To rough-up your surfaces for fibreglass, I find 40-80 grit sandpaper works quite well... Did you not have to add a hardener to the poly resin?
Hi Neil Yes stupidly I didn’t think of the 80 grit paper I was using on the DA initially (I mention it a bit later in the video). I added hardener and it’s now rock solid - pretty clean job if I must say so myself :)

Thanks Eugene. I laughed when putting it together. Thanks for watching :)
Todd, you're a better man than most with you're commitment and perseverance. Really, looking forward to seeing the fresh paint.
Thanks John. :)
Always happy to watch a new video and now even with the mic! Appreciate it
Thanks :) constantly trying to improve!
Can't wait for the final result Todd! bless you for being such a persistent man ;-)
Thanks! Someone needs to keep these cars on the road :)

Where in the UK were you?

Love it :)
Store stuff in your loft or hire a storage unit at one of those self storage places for a few months.
Hi Marin - loft - genius. I’ll stick stuff up there :)

Hey, no, I haven't announced the colour choice yet - mainly because I dont know yet!
@@MrToddgibbs Ah ok, I await the choice with interest! I'm assuming you are going for a 928 colour available in 79?
@G928... yes. It will be a colour of that year :)
