Make sure your rings will be gapped not too tight as a boosted engine will superheat your rings to expand. I know that turbos create a real problem with standard gapped rings. I don't know for sure about superchargers.
Thank you for the heads up. The engine was freshened up many years ago and had great compression. I don’t know what the actual ring gaps are but the compression is tight and I’m only running 8-10 lbs of boost. I have also heard and read similar stories of guys running to tight on their ring gaps that lead to torpedoing their engines.
