I do it the same way, but with one exception as far as I can tell.. I thought you were skipping the soap and I was going to tell you about it too lol. Something that will make a huge difference getting the 3 tabs back in place, back out the screws on the back right tab and the one on the left about half way, and the front one just a bit. It will make it way easier to seat the sump seal, just be careful not to over tighten them because I have cracked the receptacle on the sump once before. I worked as a Whirlpool PSP for some time and I picked this method up from an older tech, and found out the screw thing later. Thanks for the content man! The Diverter Motor Seal WHIRLPOOL WDT920SADM1 is available online for ~$20 for many of these models. It is much easier and cheaper than replacing the whole unit for over $150.

Hi, I want to be in this Appliance repair profession. I have seen your videos they are very helpful Thanks for them. I am in Canada, wanted to know that do I need to get some certification in order to start this business or just learn, advertise, start taking calls and work?
Muhammad Aamer I don’t know the laws in Canada. You will need to check with local companies and find out what the requirements are there. Business license and insurance at the very least. I don’t have any certifications but you don’t need them where I’m at.
