There was the passage in here "how can one book cover so many different interpretations." The Quran has many different interpretations. And the best description of the Christian Bible I've ever heard is "31 flavors of Jesus." I believe any writings that ask the reader to look into themselves is going to have exponential amount of interpretations. No person sees themselves as others see them and vice versa.
The Quran is also full of contradictions and misleading messages, so much so a “static” book that was created in heaven before mankind has so many mistakes and things wrong, this has led to over 30 Quran’s in existence today and more in the past, but they will say that the gospel is tainted even though the message inside had always stayed the same and can see that from earlier bibles from before Islam was a thing

Whenever Crowley is discussed, with the spin that his Thelemic motto is permissive, they alway quote half the motto; out of context.

Why they didn’t mention The Emerald Tablets by Thoth?
Well, I can answer that. The Emerald Tablets were brought to Egypt by the Atlantian Hermes Trismagesta whome the Egyptians called Thoth. To admit that opens up a whole new can of worms that mainstream science doesn't want to open.

I have more of a glass half full attitude. The guy said it was unlikely a physical book of Thoth ever existed but the story points more to "Thoth" being a constant while the book itself is written by each generation of followers, and in many ways that is a definition of all religions given their continued revision by preachers and scholars alike !!

You should check out a video about ancient bloodlines and contemporary power and I actually just finished another great video. But it fully covers the entire story of humanity as God created us to be, no illness, disease, death, no hate, jealousy anything from a lower vibrational frequency but the darkness and free will that was taken advantage of and used to completely destroy and kept ignorant has made us all the darker. But some go into the bloodlines or breeding process that is and has been done by those “organizations”of the dark entities since the beginning! Spending so much time on Victorian fantasies such as 'ET of Thoth' is a waste, and their assessment on how the Egyptians viewed magic is also vastly incomplete. I recommend 'The Mechanics of Ancient Egyptian Magical Practice' by Ritter, which can be downloaded for free at the Institute for the Study of Ancient Culture's website.
I feel like the beginning of this hooked me into the idea that the Book of Hermes was a translation of the book of Thoth. With no real historical evidence. Went down a rabbit hole and came out with a complete disconnection from the beginning hook or idea. I feel manipulated!

This was less about the books of Thoth and more about highlighting the history of European interpretations, much like most of history. The tarot cards with European faces in egyptian headdress summed this up pretty well, was good for a laugh though.

This is a great example of what can happen when we choose to believe in things without knowing or even questioning anything about their origin. Think of all the people today, somehow, in the 21st century who believe in Tarot card readings. But modern permutations and translations of the Bible are no different, no “holy” texts are. We give things a lot of weight when they are old or everyone around us believes them, especially when they are both. And while ancient man was not stupid, the idea that ancient man, living in a time before true science, somehow has some magical knowledge beyond our modern understanding that makes their writings any more credible than modern conspiracy theorists is foolish.
A lot of ancient writing can have legitimate wisdom, but usually nothing beyond what any tribal elder would be able to impart that has never even heard of those ancient texts.
Questioning your beliefs, beginning with the origins and authors of those ideas and the political time period where they originated, is so important- yet most people never will.

Don't take my word for it, I only stumbled across this myself... see for example bibliotheca philosophica hermetica or embassyofthefreemind and similar. One hypothesis, for example, goes as far as saying that even if all old books and papyries got lost, the experience humans can go through could simply reconstruct all of it from scratch... I find this all quite interesting... enjoy reading/studying. You never know what you might find.. 🙂
