Hey bro. Hope you're doing well. I just bought a 2004 4RUNNER V8 SR5. I want to lift it up & want some upgrades on interior as well as exterior. Can you please suggest me or can you please send me list of parts I can use in mine V8.
@@anandkhatri3747 my lift details is in the description of this video. Biggest visual upgrade would be lift, wheels and tires and possibly headlights, tinted windows. On the inside really all I like to do is add a sub and new radio maybe car play to make it modern.
So all you did with the exhaust was replaced the headers with JBA long tube headers, axle dump with 4 inch tip, and a flow master FlowFX muffler? Would it sound good if I didn’t have the JBA long tube headers? Because that takes $150 job and turns it into a almost thousand dollar job if I add the long tube headers?
@@Trey_B_fishing Do you remember how it sounded on the highway when you were going 75mph? I don't mean to be rude bombarding you with questions I am just really curious because I have to replace my muffler and was trying to make it sound a little better, I know it's hard too with a V6, but did it sound loud or a nice rumble when accelerating with just the axle dump and muffler? any other vids?
With a few modifications I almost like the 4th better than the 3rd GEN, but totally stock the 4th GEN is my least favorite 4Runner. This one looks awesome with minimal upgrades. How does the suspension feel on uneven bad surfaces? Is it quiet on road hitting imperfections? My Rodeo is just too loud and hectic when the roads get bad.
@@Trey_B_fishing I had a feeling it was quiet! I was driving in a Highlander that was about 15 years old the other day on a pretty rough road and it was super quiet! Rodeo is a blast but not so nice on the Philly streets but a dream on well paved roads. Also, I’d be thrilled getting 15 to 17 mpg in a 4th Gen but I can’t imagine your beating 14/15 with those tires.

@@Trey_B_fishing awesome!! what brand tires please? I have a 1985 Toyota 4runner SR5 5 speed on 35's with 5:29 gearing
@@dundeeecroc they are 285/70r17 nitto trail grapplers
@@Trey_B_fishing Nitto Trail Grapplers eh? I hope they have the size I need.... 35x12.50r15 tires.... will look into it, thanks!
@@dundeeecroc they should have that size good luck 👍🏽
Did you weld the axle dump or did you use brackets?
All welded by the exhaust shop
Sweet
How many attachment parts did you have to buy to be able to connect the tip to the muffler and the muffler to the original piping?
@@ethandurham3027 nothing the shop bends all the metal to connect the two. At least in my case maybe just 3-5’ of pipe
@@Trey_B_fishing Awesome, do you know how long your tip is?
damn. Looks really good. Mine is all stock but working on the sound system
Did it pass emissions?
florida doesn't have that test xD
I’m in Georgia 😬

Yes it would still sound good there is actually another video on my channel of that muffler without the headers

Suspension is pretty quite and comfortable I have no problem ramping stuff in the road without breaking my back

@@williamperri3437 I do get about 14/15 that’s spot on
@@Trey_B_fishing that’s still good considering the bigger wheels.
