- This is the start of my 2008 Toyota 4Runner Build. I plan to make this vehicle an off-road and overland rig that is practical on both the trails and highways. In this video, I installed many various upgrades such as new headlights, a new grille, LED fog lights, and new door handles. I color matched many parts of the car also and replaced the chrome trim. Next, I will be adding a lift, mud tires, a roof rack, tail lights, and much much more so stay tuned.

Car looks so cool. Awesome job. Plus I think you got a good deal, the new vehicles are so expensive.
Very nice! You just transformed the look completely! 👍
I have the rounded running boards (Tube step bar) from my ‘06 T4R Sport. There are no dents or cracks or rust. They just need to be painted, but It would look good with your front rounded bumper.
Great looking build and footage. Hope you're still loving the upgrades.
Just a warning. I bought those same headlights 4 yrs ago on my 08 4Runner. Within 3 weeks, the passenger side filled up with water and the cool led strip went out. The seller was no where to be found. Great job on all the details. I want that grill next....after I get another set of headlights!
I've heard many complaints about those headlights get moisture inside which is really unfortunate because they look so good.
That’s the only reason I keep my OEM lights. Just refinish and go
With any aftermarket headlights or tail lights your check the seals. So you're complaining about something that almost all aftermarket headlights/tail lights tell you to do.
If you put silicone around the housing it won’t happen.
One more thing friend , WHEELS
You might consider designing a set heavy duty plastic overlays for 4 gen 4runners, they exist for later models but not this generation.
Looking good!
Impressive!
Great video! When are we getting a part 2?!
Great job. Very nice 👍.
Another great mod would be, throw the bull bar away.
Really looking nice man
All that and still have the original dealer’s ad sticker on it? Looking good though
In reference to your wheel and tire combination ie: sizes etc ????
Very Nice! 🤘🤘
What brand of push bull bar is that?
Will you have more grills in stock at some point?
country rullez😀
🎉🎉
May I ask what additional wiring was needed for the LED light bar inside the headlights?
How can I buy the headlight?
What's the deal with literally everything sold out on your site? What's the point of these videos if you aren't going to have the parts available?
I’ve been looking EVERYWHERE for some
Black “sportedition4WD” badges for the doors on my 07 4Runner. But they don’t exist. Is it possible for you to 3D print some for me? I’ll pay you.
I have a 2004 4Runner. I’d like to replace the factory fogs with aftermarket. I don’t want plug and play. I want to wire them into an inside switch like auxiliary lights. Any suggestions?
You can get some fog light bezels from TEQ Customs and pair them with Diode Dynamics SS3’s, which obviously can be had with a separate switch. They also come with a colored backlight, which is always cool. I believe the mount for the lights is made by Fuzed Fab. And code “jg4r” gets you free shipping on the Diode Dynamics stuff.
If you have the factory fogs, don't they already work off of an inside switch?
@ I don’t want to use the factory wiring. I want a separate switch for them. It sounds weird but I don’t like the switch location for the factory fogs.
@@mach1john Can order a separate harness with the Diode Dynamics lights that will allow you to put a switch wherever you want.
Why lift a 2WD truck? Just for looks?
That's usually the case with most modified vehicles
My trail hunter insurance is a lot more then my 2024 tacoma TRD off-road about 320 dollars more per 6 month's
Hard to be an off road rig with no 4wd
Good luck off-roading in a 2WD vehicle
Ok Debbie Downer guy…life of the party are ya?
