How to Fix Flashing White Light on PS4 Controller! (Connect PS4 Controller Tutorial)

For the people who can't make it work, what fixed for me was turning off my wireless router, it is a brand new router and I think for some reason it was messing around with the controller connection. After I turned it off the controller synced. I turned the router back on and everything was fine.

I did the first method as I only have 1 control (midnight blue) but instead of charging it turns off, it does blink white

What helped me was unplugging the power supply while ps4 was on then press the Playstation button when prompted. Hope this helps

Thank you bro this video really helped me out. I didn’t know that I didn’t know that I was supposed to turn off the controller by pressing it PS button for 10 seconds, and then go ahead and reset the controller. That’s the part I was missing I suppose. Thanks

My controller would be working like I would be watching tv or playing a game and it would randomly turn off and when I press the ps button I just flashes white and it don't work the only thing that works is when I unplug the entire playstation plug it back and then press the ps button on the controller. I tried everything else and I don't want to keep unplugging my ps4 I feel like its gonna mess up or something.

One controller suddenly flashes white in the middle of game play and then shuts off. I try The other 2 controllers,they will both blink white. The game is them frozen. The only thing that has worked is unplugging the entire console for 20 seconds and plug back I. But then it takes a couple minutes to reset bc "the ps4 was not shut off correctly". And your game is jacked up. Smh.
