He feels like an old school filmstar, but with a big scoop of relatability sprinkled all over him. Seriously that guy never misses. If you can play characters like Venus and the Ghoul and make them both believable and interesting, youre in the craft that you belong in.
the thing about walton goggins, is all of his characters are extremely loosely hinged, but not fully unhinged. its a difficult highwire act, not many actors really get there convincingly.

Nice to see Goggins finally getting some recognition. He's so good in everything i've seen him in. Shane in The Shield probably still number one though. Boyd Crowder a close second.
I teared up when they got to Venus Van Dam. That was one of the most beautiful characters I've witnessed on television. The penultimate episode of the show was made beautiful because of Venus and Tig.
i literally screamed so loud when i saw this on my feed. i’ve been BINGE watching every single walton goggins interview cuz i’m like actually obsessed and in love with him LMAO.but.. anyways.. this is amazing. i love him sm. this interview is making me insane
Get your bag MR.Goggins! You were very under appreciated over the years and you always deserved those flowers! Thank you for your amazing contribution in Fall Out! You were fantastic as always!
Walton Goggins as Lee Russell is still one of my favorite characters ever put on screen. And I say that loving pretty much all his characters quite a bit.
Holy frack! 1:21 in I see he loves taking photos of people of places he travels to?! I doubt you see this comment, but Mr. Goggins, you're becoming a favorite of mine as a human being. Just sayin'
Before SOA, I had never really seen a transgender person or someone in drag portrayed in a movie or TV show without them being some sort of a joke or caricature. Venus Van Dam was the first one I witnessed in media that was actually portrayed with real depth to them. Walton Goggins has always been amazing but that role made his talent "unforgettable" in my mind.
Walton Goggins, one of the best! He’ll always use 10 words when 5 will do - love it! Anyone who hasn’t seen The Shield or Justified needs to watch them ASAP.
I have been a fan ever since I saw him on an episode of In the Heat of the Night back in the late 80s, early 90s. He is an elite actor who has played some of the most unforgettable characters, and he deserves all the accolades he receives. He is an unbelievably talented individual, and I look forward to all of his future projects. Respect
Really feels like this guy started at the bottom and worked his way up, remember him all the way back in the day as just a side character in a ton of stuff and wasnt that impressed but he has come a really long way and I think he is an excellent actor now.
I love this guy. Great energy in this interview and in his acting. He is super flexible in playing the protagonist and the antagonist which makes him such a great choice for the Fallout series! Seriously I think he MADE that show how good it is.
I know people in my community are leery about straight, cisgender people portraying transgender characters, but I truly loved Walton’s portrayal as Venus Van Dam, he created a character that had such depth and heart that truly touched me and made me feel for her, and the chemistry between him and Kim Coates was incredible to watch.
He has simultaneously the energy of your friend’s cool dad and the dude who lives down the hall who you know nothing about but always have fun talking to.
I'm glad Shanghai Noon was brought up because he stands out in that movie the most. His unhinged bandit character isn't talked about emough. Amazing how far he has come.

It's that southern charm
Venus was the first role of his I had ever seen and I absolutely adored her ❤
"Southern accent" and "A bit less of a southern accent"- I loved his expression when saying that.
The "Southern accent" really comes out well in Fallout, and in "Django."

Character actor means they arent leading actor material...Walton is not a character actor
I love the way he talked about Venus. What a great character.
I rewatched the last few seasons of Sons of Anarchy because of this, Fallout, etc. He's spectacular, and the show is even better than you remember.
He respected the character and didn’t judge or disrespect transgender people with how he did it. He gave a transgender prostitute class
I can't believe they got the Ghoul to do an interview

Timothy Olyphant and Walter Goggins are the only 2 actors I can point out by the way they walk. Having them both in the same show is so overpowered.
