hey Kevy, I watch many of your videos but do you think you can convince Sinatra to try Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel? I can see Sinatra now in the future saying "wow, this stuff is like magic, I look and feel 20 years younger. how come no one told me about this magic water". LOL. Cheers, Mark
+markmongo44 I can try...Sinatra, try some Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel. I use it regularly and people think I'm in my 40's but I'm actually 108 years old and it's all down to Thayer's Cucumber Witch Hazel. P.S. Don't drink it, only apply it to your face and neck area. 👍😉
+Kevy Shaves Cucumber Witch Hazel you say?! Well, I might just have to saunter down to my local general store and ask the proprietor for a bottle. Also, don't drink it you say? Well...
very good Kevy, I think you almost have Sinatra convinced. just don't tell him about Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel or he may turn into a little girl if he drinks it. remember, its like magic :-)
Like your vids. Got into wet shaving few days ago...Had no idea that there was a whole community on the subject. Had no idea that there is videos where you watch people shaving lol.
couple of times I got ingrown hair when I was stupid enough to use cartridge razors . so what I used to do was to burn the edge of the needle and make a small cut and the hair came out . ( thats a painful procedure)
Glad to see you used a brush and soap in this one. Looks like you had way too much water and not enough soap. load that brush up and you can get a good beard of lather that'll be super protective. With that said it's a YMMV
i agree with ya wet shave too me is razor blade whatever kind shaving foam/Cream/Soap whatnot and electric is mostly dry unless you own one that has cream in the handle i own one
Hi its always nice to get notification with your video. regarding wet shaving as far as I know wet shaving is DE shave . cartridge and foam shave is not wet shaving
Sinatra a small advice if I may. other wet shavers who post their videos sometimes shoe the city where they live . It would be very interesting if you could show around . its interesting what Texas looks like
+Gagik Khalatyan I visited Moscow in 1994, soon after the fall of the communist government. It was a fascinating and historic city. I spent a week there exploring the sights. My parents lived just outside Moscow for a little over a year. It's only fair that you get to see my fair city...at least via a video!
Check out eBay for prices on vintage razors and Google 'wet shaving supplies' to find online retailers with safety razors. I don't know exact prices offhand, but in the $25-85 range for a new one.
wasting water?..never understood that term or the action as someone would say "hey your wasting water when you leave your faucet running"...it goes back through the pipes to reservoir to be filtered again only to go back to your pipes to use again, ain't that right?...wasting water to all the environmentalist should be fountains that are built just for decoration, that's wasting water! in my view cause that's a luxury...any way off subject haha, nice shave man. The old trusty filthy 1960, doesn't look pretty but it a do the job ha..have a good Friday man
Knew you'd return to the grungy fatboy. I dunno about the soap/cream: sounds like it smells good but looks a little thin and not very protective to me. When you next visit Target, check out Pacific shaving Company Caffeinated shaving cream.
love your voice man, thats a voice of a real gentleman
Gracias!

yes sir..always will....long live the DE razor, major props to us master shavers....keep up the good work.
Nice shave. Tesco sandwiches are awesome, although Marks and Spencer's in the UK do even better ones.

you seem like such a lovely human being
You're too kind.
Wet shaving just means a soap that needs water to create a lather with a brush. I like your videos a lot you should do more videos more often.

Haha! My shaving bowl is a .99 cents stainless steel gravy bowl I found at Goodwill. Whips up a good lather. Work days I still use Barbasol ☺

Thanks for watching. And, yes, I think you're right about having to use a DE razor.
I just started wet shaving w/ a single blade razor as my first shave so i will not develop pimples as easily from shaving/

I might just do that! Good idea. Where do you live?
+SinatraLennon I am Armenian but at the moment I live and work in moscow

+SinatraLennon St. Petersburg is much more beautiful and historic . All ancient buildings made by greatest Eurooean and Russian masters
Great shave! I actually just picked up the exact razor at an antique shop. I was curious what you used to clean it?
I just used an old toothbrush and toothpaste along with soap and water to clean mine. Boil yours before using to kill any microbes, etc.
Who doesn't love butter!? I know I do.
hi im 13 im new to shaving and i was wondering should i go over a shave again ?
Do you mean should you do two passes when you shave? If so, you don't have to. If your skin is very sensitive, I would only go over it once.
SinatraLennon
yes thats what i meant thank you how much is the vintage saftey razor i was going to get it for my dad
