In Brazil we used to have lots of stage live super hero shows in the early days of brazilian television. The most famous of these “national heroes” was the “Capitão Sete” (Captain Seven), a mixture of Superman with Flash Gordon. The 7 was a refference to the channel of the broadcaster, the Record TV.
Hyuman was very rare and not known When lost episodes were cause by over-taping the episodes and the rest of the old episodes were out of print then rendered into public domain.
I did find the quote on obscurtatsu wiki from a comment. “ Its NOT "lost" it just hasn't had a home video release. It was announced in 2010 and then again in 2016 that the 13 episode series was being remastered for DVD release.” But if true then nothing seems to have come out of it.
Thanks! I just double-checked, because I spent a lot of time checking into it previously, and I still don't see any information about the show's master materials even being available for a home release. The only media that has surfaced was the one recording of a stage show in a mall back when the series was on the air. Do you have a link to the source? This is one of those shows that I would love to be able to see in its original glory, but I'm yet to see any reliable information that those tapes survived.
I'm so glad that most of the kaiju from this show appeared in Go Greenman. It would've sucked if we hadn't been able to see Dragonda in action.
It's a shame even the Tokusatsu genre has lost media and sadly this isn't the only case.
Sadly a lot of it too! We can only hope that more lost media is found in time.

I love it! Thank you for sharing this! I'm going to try to learn more about these in the next couple of days. They sound interesting!
Ive had magazines with photos for this stageshow series for years and always thought the monsters were some of the best ever!
1000% It says a lot that those costumes went on to be used in other shows and were still standout props.
If Assault Human not lost, maybe can be reboot into anniversary of this.

Hyuman is set to appear in North America in a comic book called "Spectreman Heroes" by Antarctic Press this year.
I had no idea! Thank you for the heads up.
I just can't stop chuckling with that dinky "Specium Ray" at 2:50 😆
Ha! I didn't notice that until you pointed it out.

@@JapanHero it was on a comment on a Wiki page but I'll send the link to that page soon. Just remember that he could've just made it up.
One of the episodes aired the literal day before my mom was born, haha!
Crazy to think this show came around the same time as the godfather.
👍👍👍👍👍😍😍
