Hopefully I've helped set some of you down the path of understanding this VERY LARGE topic! I'll be making more tutorials around different fabrics and clothing later on so I promise we'll be going more in depth into this in the future.
This has everything anyone could ever want from an art educator: clear method, technical know-how, emphasis on the underlying principles, practical application, depth of experience, accessibility, patience, understanding, and not to mention a voice that can get even the sun to melt. Thank you for the tutorial.
@@Gammatrap Happy to be on this journey of learning. Hmm related to materials that can behave like liquid, would this technique also work for things like hair or fur?
2:56 I AM in fact, here to mess around. AND YOU CAN'T STOP ME! Honestly though, I'm probably more excited about this video than I was even about the metal series. So thanks for that.
like seriously! I was looking for a video on how to PAINT fabric but I mostly got lessons on drawing. Sure they were helpful but not what I was looking for and then suddenly this morning out of nowhere this video.
Just found your channel but I appreciate the calm musing's of your voice accompanied by the league of legends back ground track , wish me luck on my journey to binge watching all your content and thank you for your hard work in making it :P
All of my painting and digital art tutorials are geared for newer artists but it is suggested that you are already into digital art. A lot of my tutorials can help traditional artists, but artists who are already drawing on a tablet or their phone would get the most out of my videos.
I was on Caravaggio+ exhibitions, there was Matthias Stomer , La guarigione di Tobia painting and I was blown away the detail WTF how you do something like this?. when you look close those are dots of paint but from 1m its beautiful fabric. .....sadly 90% of ppl was more interested in Info plates than paintings ...sad times.

I imagine Gammatrap's voice as the narrator of a game where he was the badass telling his inspiring war story. Love your tutorials man!

Do you have any advice for a relatively new artist?

You sound like a young Jack Nicholson on this one lol. Ever dance with the devil in the pale moonlight? Lol
like, people are just not aware of the power of studying things and practicing
"speaking of coming together" could have gone a very different way
My only why is why did you chose the league of legends music for this video
I don't know any cloth puns...
Guess you aren't as silky smooth as you thought? 👀
