I understand the pain of Kashmiri pandits but at the same time it showed a little selective side, many Indian muslims were also killed. Kashmiri pandits are always used as a mean to gain votes and then they are just forgotten after once they win. The pandits still live in bad condition and ignored. And the dark history was not in the time of Congress, it was of the BJP era. I do get that only the majority Hindus get neglected but at the rate the inflammation increases it does not targets the muslim but Hindu's too, the whole middle clas suffers

This song gives the message of love, this song is a reminder to the leaders that everything, their every action is being accounted for. We will see that how much they have delivered in their promises. Idk how people r connecting this to being anti liberal or anti secular or anti pandits. I mean this really doesn't make any sense. The lyrics say something very different. As for the word "Allah" used here, it's because the poet here was a Muslim, u can always change that to the way u like ....."bas nam rahega Prabhu ka" or "bas nam rahega hanuman ka" or anything u like. The poet here wanted to give stress on the fact that there is one above god, and god is watching everything and god will punish bad people.

Faiz was a Marxist but also a Muslim therefore the imagery he uses in this song is that of the Abrahamic concept of Judgement Day and the desecration of the idols at Kaaba by the prophet.
